The cottage was cosy with a plentiful supply of logs for the burner. The property was clean and well equipped. The beds were exceptionally comfortable with plenty of additional blankets if needed.

The cottage was in good condition and felt very comfortable and not overly delicate. The garden is a great touch and we can imagine being sat out on a summers evening in the complete darkness Gigha offers at night. For us, the fire in the living room and beds were the stand out features. The beds are genuinely the most comfortable we have found anywhere in Scotland. What a great nights sleep.

Not much really. We were travelling in February so expected it to be very cold. Fortunately the cottage warms up quickly with the fire. The dogs next door are a bit of a worry as they appeared quite aggressive towards our Boxers however, we were assured by some islanders we met the dogs are well natured and we noticed the owner was immediately attentive any time they barked at us,

The weather!! And the Boathouse restaurant and hotel were closed during the off season

This house is the perfect getaway. Super clean and comfy beds, lovely welcoming wood burner and so peaceful. Smashing new power shower. The house is minutes from the stunning white sandy beach. Gigha really is beautiful and beach view is the perfect place to relax and feel at home while you are there.

Cupboards in the kitchen need fixed but doesn’t spoil the stay

visited out of season and just wanted a couple of days away from it all as they say, but perhaps a more comprehensive guide in the property ref the lock for the wood, shop amenities etc etc. and a little TLC on presentation. local shop is good btw, and bring cash incase the island WiFi is playing up! only being slightly critical with regards to improvements, overall really loved it.

i loved this location. Quite, yet in the heart of the island. Great view and the beach was within 2 mins from the house. The house has just been renovated, lovely big walk in shower. Very fresh and clean with super comfortable bedrooms. Love the large wood burner and unlimited wood supply.....verry genourous of the owner . The house is very comfortable . Well stocked kitchen

The property had everything we needed

The cottage was beautiful exactly what we wanted. It was so peaceful. The rooms were lovely with beautiful furnishings the beds were so cosy. Everything was so clean and there were plenty towels in the shower room. We loved the fire there was everything in the kitchen. There were toys for the kids. We loved our walks to the beach. The hotel is only minutes away and the meal was excellent nothing we could fault in fact we had lunch and dinner there. The wee shop was well stocked. The ferry was great.

The location was perfect. Well equipped house, comfortable bed and sofa's... I liked having a bath (not just shower). Very quiet, and fabulous view from the back of the house.

The living area carpet needs attention... and maybe a fan heater for the bathroom. Garden furniture is a must have.
