De kamer is heel ruim en bestaat uit een slaapkamer en zitgedeelte met keukenblok. Zowel de kamer als het hele complex is heel schoon en goed onderhouden. Het complex heeft een prettige tuin met ligstoelen aan aan zee.

Het ligt ver van het centrum, maar op 10,15 minuten lopen vindt je een paar leuke, goede restaurants aan de kust. Dus de afgelegen ligging is niet echt een probleem. Er komen geregeld taxi’s voorbij om aan te houden en anders regelt de vriendelijke beheerster wel een taxi. Het snorkelen, waar ik zoveel positiefs over las, viel wat tegen: geen koraal, niet veel mooie vissen. Je stapt wel zo van het trapje in de tuin in zee en kunt gelijk snorkelen.

Mooi uitzicht op de zee. Ook het zwembad was erg fijn. Grote accommodatie en vriendelijk personeel.

De vloer van de accommodatie was niet schoon, ook de bedden waren erg hard. De douche heeft een open verbinding naar buiten toe waardoor het bloedheet is in de douche. Ook werd bij ons niet elke dag de kamer schoon gemaakt. Geen ontbijt wat je wel mag verwachten voor deze prijs. Mocht je bij de accommodatie boeken, betaal dan via boeking of vooraf. Op locatie word het omgerekend naar pesos en waren wij nog eens 30 euro in totaal duurder uit.

We had a one bedroom apartment with a sea view and balconies on the 3rd floor. Amazing sea view and sunsets, spacious and well laid out apartment. Hummingbirds in the garden. Great pool and sun lounger area and steps straight down into the sea for snorkelling. We love snorkelling and went for that - the coral was not as extensive as I hoped and there was a sea grass sandy bottom, however actually the snorkelling was still great, there were a lot of colourful fish, rays, eels and we even saw a turtle - it was really lovely. The apartment was about a 15 minute walk along a wide pavement past a few bars/ sea views to get to the nearest shop, and a relatively cheap 100 peso taxi ride if you prefer that.

WE loved it! The only advice i would give others is do not touch/ hang off the ropes and buoys around the snorkelling area, I got a really nasty sting which took a few days to recover from - apparently hydroids live on the ropes and they sting if you touch them. Take hydrocortizone cream in your first aid kit :)

Beautiful, peaceful setting. Staff are friendly and responsive. Grounds are well kept. Other guests were friendly and fun. I would definitely recommend Suites Turquesa

Location unbeatable - This property has views of the ocean and is close to both town and airport. It is well-maintained, clean and comfortable.

The shower has no pressure and it takes a long time to rinse off soap and shampoo!

Best and most memorable element of this apartment was the view. The apartment was spacious and had good internet. Drinking water tank in the kitchen was nice, thank you for that.

Brief: poor check in, rude staff, cheating on payment, noise in the apartment, hot shower runs out in 2 minutes, no hairdryer. Not brief: There was no one at the registration desk when we arrived. Someone at the property called the right person. She said she would need to drive to the building to collect the payment and would be there in 40 minutes. She suggested to get something to eat in a bar nearby, she said it was a 2-minute walk away. Well, it wasn't a 2-minute walk at all. We dragged our luggage for 20 minutes in total to the bar and back. When we returned, the lady was unfriendly and seemed to be inconvenienced by the need to deal with us. She gave brief information about the facilities, had us sign a couple of forms and produced a card reader to process the payment. She entered the amount in pesos and presented the card reader to me. I didn't think of it twice and didn't do the math, I took out my card and paid the amount. A moment later I received a notification from my banking app that there was a new charge. The amount was 8.5% higher than the rate online. I asked the lady about it. With rude demeanor she said I didn't account for the additional fees that were mentioned on the platform. I was aware of those fees, of course, and showed her the screen of my phone with the total amount in USD, while she showed me the screen of her laptop in USD. We had the same amount. Then she said it was "probably my bank", that she "only enters the amount". Confused I went back to the apartment processing what she said. Everywhere in Mexico I used the same card and the charge in USD always matched the bill. A minute later I went to the front desk to ask another question about the charge. The lady was in her car in front of the building. Someone saw me looking for her and tried to get her attention. At that moment she drove off.
