Property has 2 bathrooms, not 3 as advertised. We were advised of this 5 days before our trip. The third bath cannot be used and has been out of order since "last season", per manager.
Pool was filthy - we did not use it.
View of ocean from house is obscured by foliage that has not been trimmed in years. Should have been a highlight.
House was neat and clean but shabby overall. General sense of decay. We doubt owners have been there in years. If they have, they should spend a few bucks - it wouldn't take much to make a dramatic improvement.
And change the listing to 3/2 until the bath is fixed.

Had all the “little“ things that I would not have even thought of.
Wonderful service and check in process.
If I had one small complaint, it would be that the pool was a little dirty, but I think the filter wasn’t working properly.
Still an amazing place and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone taking a vacation in St. Croix

We had a very relaxing vacation at Seachange. The house was very clean and comfortable to stay in and the location and views were incredible! We all enjoyed eating at the outdoor table and being able to hear the ocean and no traffic save for an occasional car even during midday!

Property was nice, driveway was scary. A few days before arrival we were notified the master bathroom was out of service due to a broken sewer pipe.
After my wife & son arrived on 5/31 (my daughter & I arrived the morning of 6/1) they were informed that Sara had a family emergency and would not be meeting them at the airport. Sara attempted to give them directions, but because there was a discrepancy between the house address & the plot number on GPS they drove around for two hours before finding the property.
We enjoyed the house & our vacation despite the lack of the master bathroom & no check in process. Had they been available I would have given a 5 star rating.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time at Seachange! You can’t be the views the front porch has to offer. I heard so much about how “West is Best” on St Croix, but I am so happy we stayed on the east end. We did rent a car and took a few day trips to the west end. Sandy Point is an absolute must. I’ve never seen such beautiful waters. The western point offered the calmest waves and winds when we were there. We enjoyed the Buck Island snorkling cruise where we actually swam with dolphins! The pier offered great opportunities to see sea turtles and beautiful fish. Gecko’s Island Adventure was a lot of fun for our whole family. Use care when visiting Annaly Bay. I didn’t realize it was such a treacherous area. The hike was fine - but I started to wonder why I took my 4 daughters there. They’re all good swimmers but the surf that day would have been no match if they slipped off a foothold. Point Udall and the trail nearby were really neat. I think Seachange was a perfect spot for us to relax and recharge between adventures. There are so many DVDs which provided us with nighttime movies. The kitchen is well equipped and has many helpful seasonings and spices already in the pantry. St Croix was a wonderful place to visit and we all really enjoyed our time at Seachange!

We loved hearing the surf and looking out on the Caribbean Sea every morning from our front room bedroom. The kitchen had everything for eating in. Since we are beach goers we made the best of the packable beach chairs and daily went off in so many directions both to the east at newly restored Cramer Park and West to Spratt Beach and some in between. We did swim three times in the pool which was lovely and super for anyone who wants to bask in the daytime sunshine. We enjoyed many of the DVD movies for evening entertainment. We don't mind the drive out to the far eastern end as we prefer to be away from the busyness of Christiansted.

Nice quiet location. Beautiful views. Property Manager Sara very accessible and helpful. The only comment I have otherwise is some of the rooms are starting to show their age and could use some sprucing up. Nothing so bad that I wouldn’t stay there again however.

Wonderful location. Great place to be outside an enjoy the scenery and weather. Facility is showing signs of age -- bathrooms/toilets/ showers. Cable TV not available.

This property was an absolute dream! Waking up to beautiful sunsets and spending the day relaxing in the pool and overlooking the ocean was exactly what we needed. The host was super accommodating. We ventured out onto the island and there are several beaches and restaurants within a 5 minute drive. The property is equipped with pool floats,beach towels,and beach gear (chairs, hats, scuba gear, endless sunscreen options). She also had blow dryers and straighteners which could’ve saved me on travel supplies. The property sits high on a hill and accessing the property is tricky but the host helped us get there. A little scary driving up the driveway but we mastered it. If you stay here please read the book “Life in the Left Lane” which is reading material on the coffee table. It gave great insight on the island, can’t wait to return!

Where to start… the villa was amazing with the most breathtaking views!!! It was everything we hoped for and more. Our host Sara was the best! We will definitely be staying here when we come back to the Island!!

It is on the east end of St Croix outside of Christiansted. The house was great, very nicely furnished and very comfortable beds. There was 3 full bathrooms plus an outdoor shower by the pool. We spent 2 weeks there and we were very pleased with the property. Having the pool was great after a day of snorkeling and sightseeing.

There are many nice properties on St. Croix and they all have their unique charm and personality. Seachange is a memorable house in a beautiful, quiet setting. But, it's usually the property manager who will make or break your vacation. Sara Ledbetter is first class and went out of her way to make our stay wonderful. She is available, responsive and thoughtful.

My wife and I have been to St Croix 14 times now. We love the island and really loved this house. We have stayed in houses all over the island but this one was the best for us. Sarah went above and beyond and is a great property manager. The gated entry makes you feel safe at all times. We will be back soon and will definitely rent this property again.

This place is in a beautiful location that is quiet and secluded. We needed a break from a busy city, and this location provided us beautiful views and a cozy location to come to every night. It is on the far east side of the island, so the only drawback is the lack of cell service and the time it takes to get to other locations on the island (but really, is that a drawback, to be secluded without cell service?). Sara was a great property manager, she was kind and answered any questions, was prompt with any inquiries and was incredibly respectful of our privacy.
This is a great villa with great views and Sara was an extraordinary host. 10/10 would stay again.

Home is a place where you are the most, well, you. Where you feel attached to a feeling of comfort, and you can relax and rejuvenate. When we arrived, it was already night, and even in that moment, I felt at ease and attached to this place. Our concierge, Sara, was extraordinary. She met us at a pre-determined location and guided us the rest of the way to the villa. She kindly let us in and then gave us a detailed and concise tour of the property. She did a superb job at making sure we had all we needed. The next morning, we woke to a beautiful sunrise over the ocean from what has to be one of the best views from one of the best patios. Being there, just felt right, like home. We spent the rest of the week at the many beaches very nearby, went to Christiansted and Frederiksted, purchased fresh fish from the fish market, and sampled the local cuisine. We were all melancholy to depart but we were elated to have been. The kids loved the pool, the bedrooms and bed were very comfortable, and there is even a bidet in the master suite. Make sure to keep your eyes out for the iguanas, anoles and geckos. As well as several species of hummingbirds and other small pollinator birds. I highly recommend this villa for your getaway. A true home away from home!

We loved this house. It had everything we needed and more. House is very clean, well kept, and has loads of charm. AC worked great. Sarah met us and we followed her to the house. She made sure we had everything we needed and was easy to communicate with. We explored the island quite a bit but enjoyed being at the house and pool as well. We would 100% recommend this property. Hope to visit again!

Amazing home away from home
I don't think there are enough words to say about this place. Our flight was delayed and we got in later than planned, but Christie met us and led us in and showed us around. We had a medical issue and needed an Urgent Care and Christie showed us where to go and drew it out on the map for us. After all that, we were able to relax. The power went out and the generator kept us in business. We had a couple of minor things but I think that happens with anything that you do. Sara immediately called and we were able to text back and forth. We couldn't have asked for any better. My mom had nothing but good things to say when she met Sara. This was a total girl's trip with myself, my daughter and my mom. it was the best thing ever and just what we needed. I cannot wait to bring even more family back. Thank you all for your hospitality. The only down was that it all ended to much to soon. Thank you again for sharing your home and letting us learn the history of the island!

Beautiful location
We found it really helpful to have a jeep rental because this property is on a pretty steep hill. It’s completely worth it because the view is incredible. It did feel like the property has seen a bit better days and none of the interior doors in the property are solid doors, including the bathrooms so it feels like a lack of privacy for my family who are all adults now. The location and hospitality by the host really made up for that though. Excellent stay!

Pure Paradise!
My wife and I have visited St. Croix many times and have rented several villas. This one was our favorite by far! The location is heavenly--Pure blue skies, green rolling hills and beautiful Caribbean beach views. The Villa is closes to several beaches: Cramers Park, Smugglers Cove and Grapetree Beach. It is also right around the corner from the newly re-opened Grapetree Bay Hotel. Loved the sound of the waves hitting the shore and the porch Hammock. The Villa is charming, with all the comforts of home and gorgeous landscaping. We loved the mix of African and European decor and the pool serongs were a really nice touch. The pool is wonderful--very refreshing. Even my 82 mother who stayed with us loved it. We even had our own private Iguana. A few small notes for improvement: There is no pool light for nightswimming, the listing states that there is cable TV--there actually is no TV-not even a hook up for streaming. Luckily, we are not TV watchers, but this could be a big issue for some renters. The front guest bedroom screen door does not lock--it needs fixing. The AC in that room also seems to be on the blink (at least we could not get it to work). Otherwise. an incredible vacation home. We cannot recommend it enough and look forward to staying here again.

Wonderful!!!
Amazing view of the mountains and the turquoise waters, private, quiet and plenty of room for our family of 5. The pool was wonderful and we used it several times a day. Having smugglers cove right below us made for great days of snorkeling, swimming and discovering ocean treasures. The pictures do not do this place justice. The outdoor space was perfect. Very comfortable and relaxing. The air conditioning made the house cool when we needed it and the cross breeze was refreshing when we opened the windows. Christine was the nicest and most helpful hostess! She made everything easy. We cannot wait to return! Thank you for making our family vacation a cherished memory.

Incredible view
This property is beautiful with incredible views. The pool was nice to cool off in. We were happy to have a washer and dryer with detergent and fabric softener. The house could benefit from a few more dish towels, kitchen items, twin bed sheets (we never found them) and a thorough scouring, but was comfortable nonetheless. I was taken aback by allegations of "taunting" the neighbors’ dogs, but other than that, we had no issues. Overall, I felt that the house was a good value and we were honored to have the opportunity to stay.

Relaxing Getaway
We absolutely loved our week at Grapetree. House has plenty of space, nice bedrooms, great pool and outside lounging areas, and quick access to the beach. If you are looking for a quiet getaway with a great view this is for you. Looking for high end shopping and night life, not for you.

Tranquility
We could not have picked a better location to stay! This location is very spacious and remote. It provided the peace, fun and ease we needed for a vacation away from the city. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, afternoon swims and late night family game times. All the adventure is located a few minutes away from the villa. Christie was wonderful and a delight. She was very easy to communicate with. During our trip, we did experience the Saharan Dust. However, Christie and Michael went above and beyond to communicate with us and keep the pool clean. This house literally provide us with everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing and stress-free vacation.

Beautiful, Quiet, Comfortable
This spacious home with large bedrooms and three bathrooms is very clean, and well set up. East facing patio has morning sun and shade with grand view the rest of the day. Check in was easy, Agent was responsive and very helpful. Wonderful vacation here, highly recommend.

Amazing property
My family and I came down here for a week and loved our stay. It is a bit of a drive from Frederiksted, about 25 minutes from downtown Christiansted. We would definitely love to come back. The layout of the house was perfect and the pool was beautiful. The view was outstanding.

Perfect Family getaway
This place was perfect for our family. The view and sounds of the ocean were amazing. We cooked most days and the grill/kitchen were great. Easy access to what we thought were the best bays/beaches on the island. Isaac and Jack bays where we found the best snorkeling and beach time. We love adventures and being on the more remote side of the island was exactly what we loved about it. Movie selection was perfect as we picked out a movie almost every night. Beds were comfortable, Beach gear was much appreciated, and the pool was really nice. Loved it!
