Position excellent!

Lots of stairs! But worth it for location!!

The host is super nice! very helpful and gave lots of information. I like the location of the property. walking distance to everything and lots of good places and shops nearby.

There was something about it…the smell…I’m not so sure what it is but my nose just couldn’t handle it. I think the property is so old that it might have been that. it was a strong smell soon as we walked in. I had to buy a scented candle to light up at night just to help with the smell and I constantly spraying air freshener when inside. the hot washer that you have to press was ok, on our last night seems to have ran out of hot water much faster so had to rush out showering. These minor details about the house but overall good stay.

Nothing Everything was perfect

Easily can accommodate 4 persons. The apartment is very clean and tidy. The host was very responsive and helpful. Have everything that is needed by a family.

Very tidy and lovely flat equipped with everything you need. Zandra is very nice and gives recommendations we can check within the city. We received all necessary instructions beforehand. She is thoughtful - we had cakes, tea, coffee and milk. She also allowed us to drop off our luggage before check in time and store our luggage after check out which we really appreciate. The location is great - so close to all the local attractions within Edinburgh. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.

Proximity to the old city center. The place was very clean, cozy, with all the necessities. The host was so lovely and helpful. We managed to park the car just in front of the building. It is free during nighttime, and in the morning we moved it accros the street to Radisson Blu’s private parking, which was very convenient.

Excelent flat and perfect for a stay in the center of Edinburgh! Our hostess was very kind and attentive to our needs all the time. The location is great four touristing, it has grocery stores nearby, and it's close to the train station (10 min walk), the apartment is very comfortable and has everything you might need. We would definitely recommend!

The moment I entered the building, there was no light on the stairway which made me feel very unsafe going to the third floor. It was difficult for parents to reach the flat in dark. After entering the flat, there were so many flowers that triggered my allergy and because of those flowers, there was an odour in the apartment. Because of the bad smell, my wife decided to open living area windows. That window fell on her head and she got a bump on her head which spoiled her whole trip. I called the owner and told her everything and she was apologetic for the whole incident and offered me a refund of 100£ which I still haven't received.

The apartment is clean. Everything works properly. The most pleasant thing is treatments. In the fridge we found milk, there were cookies for us, tea and coffee... So we enjoyed the flat. If you close the window it will be quiet. Yes, the shower is small, but for one night it's fine. I would like to say thank you to the hosts. They were really attentive.

The apartment is in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for people who want to be close to all the local attractions in the beautiful city of Edinburgh. We would definitely stay here again.

The host did warn us about the steps to the apartment, they were not an issue for us but potentially could be for some people.

Stair access to the property was a challenge. But we were informed of this shortcoming.

Sarah was super friendly and helpful, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. It was our first time in Edinburgh and gave us information about all the attractions that we should visit and tips on what to do and what to pass. Overall my family had an excellent stay and she made are visit enjoyable.

great location on the Royal mile. Ok for value for money.

Quite a few stairs up but this is flagged before booking. Small shower but clean. Sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable. Master bedroom is decent. More suited to a couple than 4 people.

It is lovely apartament, very clean, comfortable, . The only issue was with hot water at the first evening, but it was resolved immediately. I absolutely recomend this apartament and for sure I will come back!

Everything was ok.

Excellent location. Owner was very clear and friendly in all communications. Good facilities. A good size flat for a family of 4. Very clean. Very comfortable main bed (the sofa bed was not so comfortable but was fine for my children). There was a problem with the hot water and the owner solved it in under 2 hours on the Sunday of a bank holiday weekend! Excellent service

Sofabed wasn't amazingly comfortable. Not a problem for us as I'd read it in reviews before booking but it's worth knowing that a) there's several flights of stairs up to the flat b) the entrance is down an alley c) the living room with the sofabed looks onto the high street and can be a bit noisy at night

It was not made clear that this apartment has 5 flights of stairs and no lift. As mature visitors access with luggage was particularly stressful.

Location

There were 76 stairs from the ground into the apartment. With heAvy luggage, it was quite daunting. The shower room was not large enough to step out of to dry off. The lighting in the bathroom was poor.
