We love this cabin. So relaxing, just what we needed!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful cabin that exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the rustic charm and cozy atmosphere of the cabin. The fireplace and hot tub were definite highlights of the stay, providing warmth and relaxation on chilly evenings. The cabin was immaculately clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities you could ask for. The kitchen was fully equipped with modern appliances and utensils, which made cooking meals a breeze. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. But what really stood out about this cabin was the attention to detail. The decor was thoughtful and tasteful, with small touches that made the space feel like a home away from home. This home is welcoming and well equipped. The decor is lovely and furniture is comfortable. The home is very clean and kitchen is well stocked with dishes, plates, cooking utensils, etc. This is a convenient location with great views.

Comfortable, clean, private, close to Davis, Thomas, and skiing.

Very nice place to stay. It has a lot of space for the two couples that went, we each had our own bathroom and bedroom areas as well as a spacious cozy living area and kitchen. The view outside in the wooded lot was very relaxed and we could hear the brook running nearby. The hot tub was very new and clean. It was also located in a good central location to our destinations we were visiting, Blackwater falls state park, and seneca rocks. Would definitly recommend and come back.

The property had everything one could need. Cooking supplies and dinnerware were great. The house was beautiful and had 2 great decks. The shower on the first floor was great. Hot tub was great. Definitely will be coming back.

Beautiful mountain home with a very warm and cozy feel! Nice open living room/kitchen area. Private and the hot tub was a blast!! Close and convenient to skiing and tubing.

We ended up not staying at this cabin, due to water damage. We were transferred to "wildlife" cabin which I liked even more than our original choice. It was quite a drive from the main road to reach this cabin, but well worth it. It was very private. I loved the open floor plan, and especially the woodburning fireplace. Very large deck on a level wooded lot. I agree with others that it could use some updating, but overall I loved it. Perfect place to cook our Thanksgiving dinner while watching football and warming by the fireplace.

Great location, very private and quiet. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning on the patio listening to the brook. Very comfortable house, nicely equipped. Very handy for hiking since Blackwater Falls and Dolly Sods Wilderness are right around the corner. Great vacation!

This a well cared for and well stocked cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was great from the hot tub to kitchen to solitude. Great location for a hiking trip.

Had a wonderful weekend in West Virginia with my girlfriend. We stayed at the cabins owned by Canaan Realty. Check in was super easy. The cabin was close to skiing, hiking, and off-roading. We had a nice, quiet weekend. The place also had a hot tub which was nice during the cold winter. We had the hot tub with snow all around us. Would definitely come back!

Gorgeous place! 4x4 was definitely needed in the snow. Hot tub was thoroughly enjoyed. Furniture and beds were comfortable. And kitchen was stocked with every utensil/tool we needed. Would definitely stay here again, if the opportunity arises.

After reading the prior reviews and staying here for nine days, here is what you need to know:- the kitchen is well-stocked with plates, appliances, etc.- there were some complaints about the mattress, but it seemed perfectly fine (although I think it it may have been a full rather than a queen)- some say the bottom bedroom is musty, and it did get more musty when it rained. If you're sensitive to that kind of thing, I would throw an air filter in the car with the rest of your stuff- the (new-ish) hot tub is undoubtedly a highlight - it is basically a large eight-seater with great jets in the four corner seats and on the floor. I wasn't sore once after long hikes- the TVs are pretty small and on the widescreen TVs, you only get a grainy 3:2 signal. Don't come here to watch TV. Wi-fi is slow but adequate.- the fireplace works fine; make sure to bring small kindling in addition to seasoned fire wood if you want to get a fire started- the house is probably early 90s average construction without updates; it is adequate but don't expect luxury. - there is a games closet with tons of games from the 80s and 90s- it was clean and there are plenty of towels- 4WD is necessary in the winter months and also to access many of the hikes in the surrounding area- go check out Blackwater Falls (including Lindy Point), Douglas Falls in Thomas, Table Rock if your vehicle can get you there (need 4WD), and if you really want some hikes with elevation, Bald Knob and Seneca Rocks- Sirianni's in town had great pizza (the XXX was amazing)

Expansive decks, great light in common areas indoors. We felt like we were in our own treehouse. Excellent Wi-Fi.

The big decks on the house were great for eating outdoors and just relaxing. Great hot tub and well stocked kitchen. Very close to everything you might want to do in the area. Would stay here again!
