The flat is extremely conveniently located. Very close to the centre and the public transport networks but across the river from all the hubbub so it's relatively quiet. It is also very well kitted out with all the bits and pieces you might need while you are there. What really makes it stand out, however, is the welcome of the host, Ottavio, who was in touch before, during and afterwards and could not have been more helpful.

Ottavio was a wonderful host for our short stay. He provided specific directions for our arrival and offered suggestions on Vienna. Since he was out of town the day we arrived, his mom greeted us at the apartment and showed us around making sure everything was as expected. Ottavio even met with us on our last day and walked with us to the subway station just for an opportunity to visit with us. The apartment was clean and perfect for my wife & I. It is in a great location - tram stop just up the block and minutes away from the center of Vienna tourist activities. Much better than any hotel in the area.

The location could not have been better. So many things to do, places to see, and delicious food to discover all within walking distance. The host was very, very helpful before and throughout our stay. We will certainly be back!

This apartment is centrally located, within close walking distance to many of the local attractions, with trams and buses nearby to take you to other sites further out. The apartment is very clean, well stocked with everything you need to cook in if you choose and if otherwise there are plenty of restaurants close by with a variety of cuisine choices. Ottavio was so easy to work with from the first correspondence I had with him to the day we checked out. The check in process was flawless and he was extremely knowledgeable of local information and was more than willing to answer any questions we had, with quick responses to messaging with questions we had via the Vrbo messaging system. It was comforting to know he would be available if we had questions or concerns throughout our stay. He went above and beyond by walking us to the airport transfer bus early the morning of our checkout. We have stayed in many Vrbo accomodations over the past several years and this is by far at the top of those we’ve stayed in. You will be pleased with your decision to stay in this apartment.

The apartment is clean and new Celt equipped. The location is excellent. Only 5 min walk to the cathedral, which is like city center with lots of restaurants & shopping. Excellent communications with the host upon arrival. I would highly recommend this place.

The property is very central and clean. it's the little things that make this property a lot better than others, i.e. soaps, shampoo, dish washing liquids, laundry liquids, house slippers etc. also Octavia was very helpful in suggesting local rail, tram and bus routes also suggesting what to see. he also followed up on train schedules and checked to see if we were on board on time as there were some delay on our next destination. Highly recommend this property.

Ottavio (Gabrielle's husband) is responsive host/manager, shared helpful info and made arrival etc very smooth. Apartment is as described, convenient to sights, groceries, public transport (tram, ringstrasse, Ubahn), easy walking distance to center of Vienna, museums, restaurants and more. It's on a busy street but excellent windows keep noise very low. Kitchen is very well supplied. Enjoyed meeting Ottavio's mother at check-in. We were lucky to find this place and hope others enjoy it in future.

The location of this charming apartment was perfect! It's a short walk from the subway and and easy saunter over to Stephanplatz, one of Vienna's main shopping and restaurant areas. The apartment itself is nice - very neat and clean. We had some hot days while we were there, so the fan was very helpful (no A/C). Our host, Ottavio (Gabriella's husband) was away, but was very proactive in keeping in contact with us to be sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay, including tips on getting around. (His mother was very cute!) We would highly recommend this accommodation!

We highly recommend this fantastic apartment in Vienna! Ottavio greeted us at the airport bus stop and immediately made us feel at home. The apartment is super clean, comfortable, and kitchen well stocked (though with so many great restaurants, we ate out every night). We enjoyed a glass of wine on the balcony before going out for dinner. The location is perfect and exactly what we wanted. We were close enough to the convention center (via the Taborstraße U) and a pleasant walk across the bridge and into the old city to see the sights or hop on the Schwedenplatz U to go further. So nice to get away from the crowds at the end of the day and return to the quiet neighborhood. Grocery stores are a short walk. Ottavio was a terrific communicator, before, during, and after our stay. Thank you so much! We would definitely stay here again!

My two week stay in Vienna was more than just a sightseeing trip, I was there to spend time with my elderly parents, whom I have not seen for over 5 years. Staying at this property, with all the support and help that Gabriella and her husband, Ottavio, provided, made this reunion a resounding success! My paramount concern with this trip was to make my parents, who are in their 70s, comfortable, and also to make sure they can do sightseeing easily - this was their first trip to Europe and they chose Vienna! This property has it all! Excellent comfort: elevator, plenty of space in both rooms and kitchen, heat worked perfectly when temps went down to 6*C during the day in May! Apartment is very well insulated by double windows, which also provided excellent buffer from street noise. Very comfortable bed and sleeper sofa, bedding; everything super clean. Great selection of pots and pans - I got to enjoy home cooked meals! Frig big enough for groceries & leftovers; freezer a plus. I relearned how to use gas stove, and got to appreciate it. We were provided with all necessities like shower gel, shampoo and hand soap, laundry soap, dish soap, dish towels and sponges, plenty of toilet paper and paper towels (many VRBO properties don't offer all that). Billa grocery store at the end of the street - a necessity for cooking and snacks; tram stop to many major sites just outside apartment house door- life saver for my parents- but insulated windows blocked noise. 5 min walk to metro - direct line to Schoenbrunn. Everything within walking distance: 10 min walk to St Stephens (considering half of that time is spent at two traffic lights when crossing canal) - you can see the steeple as you step out of the house! 5 min to boat dock with boats to Bratislava. I appreciated the fact that hordes of tourists didn't follow us back to the apartment, so we got to feel non touristy Vienna minutes away from the center. Overall excellent central location! Fantastic owners: Ottavio answered hundreds of my questions with great patience, offering helpful advice and seeing to all of our needs. My parents loved meeting him and being able to converse in Russian. His excellent English made my communication with him very easy. Multilingual hosts are such an asset! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and central location with excellent owners! I hope I will be back before too long, bringing my husband and daughter to see Vienna!

Had a fabulous time in Vienna. Location of unit was great for walking to various locations and public transportation. Host and hostess were very helpful in settling in. The unit had everything you would need and couldn't ask for a better layout. Would come back and stay if the occasion ever presents itself.

We can’t say enough about what a great apartment this is and would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Vienna. The apartment is conveniently located across the bridge leading right into the center of the Innere Stadt. There is a tram stop right across the street and the underground right across the bridge. The apartment is immaculate and well taken care of. Ottavio and his mother were so nice and took great care in getting us settled in the apartment upon our arrival. Ottavio provided invaluable information on a host of issues throughout our stay. There is a supermarket right down the block and a beautiful kitchen to cook in for those so inclined, but who would want to cook with all the outstanding restaurants a short walk away! The apartment is spacious and the bed is very comfortable, There is even a lift (elevator) which was very helpful in getting our luggage up to the apartment. Vienna is an amazing city, a great place to visit, and the apartment is an outstanding choice to stay in for your visit.

The apartment was perfect for our needs being within a very short walk of multiple transit options as well as within walking distance of most of central Vienna. The description "Cozy flat in great location" is accurate. The apartment is very comfortable for a couple. There is a tram stop practically at the front door (trams are quiet--they will not disturb your sleep) and a Ubahn (subway) station within a 5 minute walk. There's a supermarket nearby and many restaurants within walking distance. All major tourist sites are easy to reach using tram or Ubahn and many are within walking distance. Gabriella's husband, Ottavio, manages the apartment and is very helpful. He is easily reached at no cost by using an application called "Whatsapp". You can message with this app or video chat. If we ever go back to Vienna, we would stay here again.

The flat was very clean and well equipped. The location was great - a quick walk to the historic city. we also found some interesting places to go in the area of flat and found the neighborhood interesting. we would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time at this apt. in Vienna. We were here for three nights. It was a great location, just over the river and close to a subway stop. Tons of restaurants, etc nearby. Ottavio the owner was very helpful and friendly. He was out of town but had his Mom meet us at the apt to check us in. Even though she didn't speak a lick of English she was a delight and he called to translate when she was there. Little hot at night but we were here in the middle of July. Would stay there again for sure.

A clean, light-filled apartment just meters from the Marienbrucke bridge across the Danube canal - and a few more meters to the Ringstrasse and the Schwedenplatz metro, bus, and tram station. Everything we needed and several items not always available in vacation rentals. Ottavio was a great help both prior to arrival (with directions to the apartment), getting us introduced to the layout, and suggestions for site seeing around town.

This is the perfect apartment for a family visiting Vienna. There are two big rooms plus a small kitchen with dining area. WC and shower are in separate compartments . The apartment is clean, quiet, light, and airy, with plenty of windows, a balcony, and lots of storage space. The thick walls kept the place reasonably comfortable during a heat wave. The location is within easy walking distance of everything in the ring and (if you like walking) well beyond it. It is just a few minutes' walk to a good grocery store, a subway stop, and a bus that goes directly to the airport. For us, the BEST aspect of this apartment was our amazingly kind and helpful host. He gave us crucial advice about crossing the Slovenian border by train, and he went out of his way to collect our tickets and mail them to us in the US. Without his help we might still be in Ljubljana! Thanks again, Ottavio, we really appreciate it.

My daughter and I stayed in this flat for 5 nights on our recent trip to Vienna and we were really pleased with our stay. The unit was very efficient and had everything we needed. It was very clean and everything was in good working order. It's in a fabulous location - just a few minutes to the subway station and a quick bus ride from the airport. The owner was out of town while we were there, but arranged to have us met at the unit by his mother, even when we were delayed by about 6 hours because of our flight. I dealt solely with the owner's husband. He was extremely helpful providing us transit information in advance of our stay. He was very responsive to any questions we had returning messages in a matter of minutes. He even gave us transit advice several days after we had left his flat! All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

This place was fantastic for my stay in Vienna. Located right near Stephensplatz, this apartment had everything I needed. Furthermore, I was incredibly well looked after by the very attentive owners. The apartment was very clean and well taken care of. It was also spacious and would be great for a young family. I would highly recommend this apartment and will definitely hope to stay here again next time in the wonderful city of Vienna. You cannot go wrong with this place.

The apartment was roomy, comfortable, well equipped and warm (essential for the cold Feb/March of our visit). The location was as good as it gets: Vienna's public transport is efficient and cheap, but we hardly used it because all key tourist sites are within walking distance, and shops, restaurants and supermarkets are on the doorstep. But a key feature that made our stay in Vienna so enjoyable, was the warmth and hospitality of our host, Ottavio. He was very quick in responding to emails and texts, and generous with his time,. We enjoyed our conversations with him. If we go back to Vienna, we wouldn't look for any other accommodation.

My husband and I stayed here and found the property very clean and incredibly convenient to the city center and the U-bahn. The owners were very helpful before and after arrival (provided easy to follow directions from the Haptbahnhof to the property). We would stay here again and recommend this property to others.
