The rooms were clean, well equipped and comfortable.

The food was very disappointing and over-priced. We have just eaten a fantastic meal in Zagreb in a fancy restaurant for less than the price of Villa Mija dinner. We weren’t offered any drinks. Due to the location of the property down a small lane and far from other eating options it wasn’t possible to eat elsewhere. We were so disappointed with our dinner that we decided not to have breakfast. Also we didn’t get any helpful advice from the owners - there is an entrance to the park a 13 minute walk away but you can park your car just by that entrance. We didn’t know this.

Great accomodation. Modern clean rooms and good bathroom. Also close to flora entrance of the national park. The host was also so lovely!

Great appartement with all comfort and especially amazing shower/bathroom. Absolutely friendly host. Such comfort appartement/rooms in the "mountains" we didn't expect. Close to the entrance 1 and also the less known entrance 3 from the park Plitvicer Lakes. Nice view over the park from the other side. Thank you very much.

What a gem! We absolutely adored everything about Villa Mija. The location is simply lovely, at the end of a remote road in Plitvice National Park, in a cute area with several inns and B&Bs. It's a short walk from Villa Mija to the lesser-known entrance #3 to Plitvice National Park. We took an evening stroll down mountain paths with a gorgeous upper view of the park, and then were treated to a spectacular dinner of 1) trout with fries and 2) chicken with gnocchi. Both included aperitif, soup, salad, and dessert, all for 25 Euro.. Breakfast was also delicious with an assortment of fruits and meats, bread, yogurt, coffee, and juice for 13 Euro. Both meals were taken on the open-air terrace with friendly service in beautiful surroundings. Our room was well-appointed, quiet, and comfortable. Just a perfect night before our trip into the park. So glad we found Villa Mija!

Top location, only 15 min walk from entrance 3 to the Plitvice Lakes. Branca and her team are very hospitable, warm and accommodating. The rooms are super clean (the cleanest we encountered on our trip), the grounds are very well maintained and located in the middle of beautiful nature. The perfect starting point for exploring the national park. We will be happy to come back.

You must try homemade food!!!

The showerhead was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. Special note; order your tickets for the lakes online the day before as you can take a shortcut via boat from this venue, if not you have to enter one of the main two entry points, I wish I knew earlier but passing on the knowledge. The host was very sweet also.

Where do we start! The national park is obviously beautiful & all the properties around are too. Branka met us on arrival to show us the room & had decorated with some balloons & confetti for our honeymoon! We were so touched! The bed was extremely comfortable & we slept well. Beautiful bathroom, good wifi. Everything seemed new & recently built, to high quality. Branka gave us useful information about the local area. We ordered dinner & two breakfasts when we stayed. The food was local & tasty, giving us a taste of the Lika quality!

The room was very spacious and comfortable, with modern conveniences throughout. Dinner and breakfast were very good and they provide more food than you could ever need! The owner was lovely and provided guidance on how to best proceed throughout the park and was attentive to every need!

The room was amazing: huge, comfortable bed and bathroom in a very quiet area were you can see the stars at night when you look out of your window. On a strolling distance from one of the better viewing points outside of the park as well as to the park´s entrance. As the place is relatively small, it has the advantage that the owner can really take the time out to give you her recommendations on how to best visit the park (she also pointed us towards that viewing point we otherwise would never have found).

Similar as the other reviews: we found the breakfast expensive, although you do get a lot. To be fair, we knew this in advance and could have bought some own food in the village which we did not. For dinner they offer some options in the guest house, which are ok.
