The location of this cabin is amazing. The road juts off a highway into the woods on a short street. The porch faces the woods and it is extremely beautiful and very peaceful. It has a huge porch swing slash bed. The beds are all comfortable and it is very clean. The kids loved the downstairs which has its own TV room and play station. Along with its own bathroom. Access to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was easy. This was quite the find. Will stay again.

This property was ideally located and absolutely lovely, inside and out. It was extremely clean, had spacious indoor lounging areas, and amble outdoor areas to sit and spend time with family. We spent a lot of time hiking in the Smokies, and we really enjoyed coming back to that house to relax in the evenings. I especially appreciated the little things that the hosts provided for our stay: a binder full of recommendations on trails, area activities, and grocery stores; board games; ample dish and hand soap; and high-quality toilet paper to name a few. (The toilet paper showed they weren’t just purchasing the cheapest option and spent a little more to improve our stay.) These few added steps on their part went a long way. The only two things I would suggest for improvement were getting new pans (as they looked pretty beat) and adding screens to windows and doors (we weren’t able to open them a few days due to wasp activity around the house). Overall, the cabin was a 10/10! I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We had such a relaxing stay at this wonderful cabin! Very clean, peaceful surroundings, and great location in Townsend. Very easy process to get in touch with management, and they were very prompt and kind! Will stay there again!

Blue Door is THE cabin to stay at in Townsend. Located right off the Lamar Alexander Parkway it’s convenient to the Park, restaurants, shopping, and the newly completed Company Distillery. Anthony, the host, is very accommodating and communication and response time is off the charts good. The cabin is very clean and all furnishings, TVs, beds, and kitchen exceeded our expectations. This is the ONLY cabin to stay in when visiting Townsend!

We found the property to be in an excellent location in Townsend. The cleanliness of the cabin was excellent! Plenty of room for the eight of us. The porch is awesome! It wraps around the entire house. We will definitely stay here again.

It’s been our family tradition to come to Townsend every summer for the past 33 years and this was by far one of my favorite cabins I’ve stayed in! Only thing missing was being on the river. Stocked amazingly with everything you think you’ll need, and everything you didn’t know you needed, the best water pressure in the showers with super hot water (I’m missing this part the most I think now that I’m home) beautiful views all around, close to everything yet private and quiet. I couldn’t have been happier :)

I cannot express how much our group LOVED this house! The cleanliness, amenities, and location were absolutely perfect! Not only were we blessed with space and woodsy vibes, but extra paper towels, TP, and dishwashing pods made this experience top notch. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay and anticipating all our needs! Watching the black bear in the trees while enjoying the hot tub was absolutely the best experience in Tennessee!

Anthony reached out about a week before which is nice so I was prepared. The cabin was far enough away for privacy but close enough to do things. Whirlpool was great, enough pans for cooking. and private rooms/area so adults could have private space. Screened in porch with bed swing was great.

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious, clean, comfortable cabin! The wraparound screened porch is a perfect place for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful area. It is in a perfect location for exploring Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We would certainly stay at this property again!

Our family really enjoyed staying in the Blue Door Cabin in Townsend it was quiet with easy parking access and plenty of space for my 6 grandkids. They loved the hot tub and we spent most evenings at the fire pit. Very clean and beautiful place.

First off this was my Family's first Cabin Rental experience and let me say that it didn't disappoint. The Blue Door cabin is in a perfect location. Far enough from the main road to be quite and serine. But close enough to everything that makes the Smokey Mountains great. The Cabin was spacious, clean and full of surprises that made our week long vacation one of our best. The beds were very comfortable and we felt right at home every day. The porch is HUGE and awesome so there is plenty of room to roam and get comfortable on a nice day. 3 floors allowed for privacy and peace and quiet when needed. The property is fantastic and the fire pit had plenty of seats for everyone. Anthony and his staff were very friendly and responsive and I will make sure to book this place again!

The house was clean and in a beautiful area.

My only real issue was the toilet paper. We paid a lot of money for our stay and didn't consider that the cabin would have literally the worst, cheapest, see-through toilet paper I have ever seen. Everything else was great but up the quality of that TP. The price we are paying should cover it. The back portion of the deck (the oldest) seems to be a little unsafe and soon due for re-building. The wood is soft so we avoided the entire back stretch of the deck. Everything was clean, the place was beautiful. Plenty of space and bedrooms. LOVED the basement with the small entertainment room. The firepit area was gorgeous even if we did not use it. Love the bed porch swing as well. Overall a super nice place. Bring TP though... yuck.

We loved everything about this cabin. Owners were great! Place was spotless! Everything worked perfectly. It is our new favorite cabin! I am going to book it again for next year!

We have stayed here 3 times. Cabin is quiet, clean, and well furnished. Plenty of room for all is us to have private space. Lots of covered outdoor space.

Property was great. Very clean and well kept. Complete and cozy. Location was perfect to get away from the busyness (sp?) of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Very close to the SMNP entrance and quiet spot for a relaxing weekend get away. I would definitely recommend this property for anybody looking for a peaceful getaway close to the Smokies.

We had a mishap with one of our friends that got.hurt and ended up staying the week in the hospital. The staff with Blue Door was very thoughtful and helpful. They had a genuine care for my friend and was right there to help. Thanks

We had 14 of our family members there for our daughters wedding. We had to use a blowup mattress but there was room for it and all of us. The cabin was very clean and nice !! We’d highly recommend this property.

Everything about this cabin was great! Plenty of room for 3 couples, and a wrap around porch to die for! It was raining, the sound of the rain hitting the metal roof while sitting on the porch, made for great napping! Highly recommended.

The cabin was absolutely perfect for our family vacation to Townsend! We would definitely stay again!

The cabin was very clean top to bottom. We're all family but separate into 3 family groups. We never felt like we didn't have the room for privacy while still feeling close at the same time. The location felt a little for Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge at times, but the drive through the mountains made it all worth it. At the end, my family and I are looking forward to coming back here again.

The cabin was great, thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We had an issue with WiFi going down but contacted the property manager and she was on top of it and responded quickly. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. We had 8 people staying here comfortably (7 adults and 1 child) and had plenty of room.
