The house is in a good location, close to Notre Dame. It is very clean and has plenty of room.

The house is conveniently located, very walkable neighborhood. The home is well appointed with lovely antiques. Treated as you would a respectable, family residence.

Home was clean, comfy and cozy. Location was great. Located near Notre Dame and a lot of shops & restaurants. The owner was wonderful and quick with responding. Will definitely stay again in the future!

Was a great quaint stay

After a horrific stay using vrbo competitor, this trip was a breath of fresh air! Host was very responsive, communicated instructions on time and clearly and answered questions quickly that arose during our stay. House is charming, creaky old wood floors, cutely furnished, very homey in a good way. Between family room, front room and enclosed porch, there was plenty of room. Bedrooms are comfortable, bedrooms upstairs. Very close to campus. We drove but it would not be a bad walk. Corner is a bit noisy as others mentioned but didn't bother us. We would love to stay again sometime!

Our family was there for our first Notre Dame football game. Cindy was very accommodating and responsive. The house was in a great location but being right on busy corner was extremely noisy with cars, etc. The streaming TV was a bit challenging to work too but Cindy immediately responded and saved the day for the boys who wanted to watch some Game Day football. The house is dated… it could benefit with some small upgrades, specifically the bathrooms. All in all it was a 10 of a weekend!!

Good spot for a UND football weekend. However, all night street truck & car noise is a drawback. Light night sleepers will have problems.

This place had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, it was quiet, & we enjoyed the outdoor area with the covered table, grill & firepit. Wood was even provided which was very convenient. We were able to walk or scooter to much of what we wanted to see from here. We very much enjoyed our time here!

This is a very well kept and very clean house. I have stayed here before and I love it!!! This will be my "get away spot" when I need to get away

The rental process and finding the house was a breeze! We stayed here for the Benton Harbor 70.3 Ironman weekend that I competed in and it was an easy 50 minute drive to Benton Harbor/St. Joseph where you have lots of beach access to Lake Michigan! The house was clean, provided everything we needed and Cindy was super great at communication through the VRBO app. We didn’t explore South Bend at all so I can’t speak to how close the house is to fun things around there, but it was a nice stay nonetheless and the bathrooms are very spacious which was an added bonus! We LOVED all the cute little sayings around the house in the artwork too!

Cindy was easy to work with, and responded quickly when we had a question. The home was well stocked with the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom basics. Grocery store and restaurants close by, and a mall 15 minutes drive. Previous comments mention, and we confirm, this is on a noisy, busy street.

The house is warm and comfortable. It kind of reminded me of the house I grew up in. Hopefully before the end of the year, I can stay at this property again!!!

We stayed while visiting our college kids over Spring Break 2021. The property is about a mile from Notre Dame. I walked to campus one morning and it was perhaps 20 minutes. Martin’s, the local grocery store was perhaps 1.5 miles away. Cindy was a joy to work with, both before and during the trip. Property has a nostalgic feel, very comfortable. All beds are upstairs which may be an issue for some, with one bath upstairs and the other downstairs. We had our kids and some of their friends over for dinner, and the counter space and cookware in the kitchen is somewhat limited. But for a small group, most adequate. I wouldn’t hesitate staying again at this property. Thanks Cindy for an awesome week.

This cute little house was terrific for a stay in South Bend for the 4th of july weekend for me and my family. I jist want to give a big thanks to Cindy for being super communicative before and during our stay. Also I just want to say her neighbor was just one of the nicest guys we've met. He set off what was the most amount of fireworks we had ever seen during the 4th and it really made our stay special.

Great house a short walk to the ND football stadium!! Very clean. Cindy was great had a small plumbing issue. It was fixed in a few hours while we enjoyed the ND campus. Would stay there again!!

This quaint yellow house was everything we were looking for. Lots of seating areas to snuggle up with a good book, bedrooms for everyone and easy to get to Notre Dame. Clean and tidy Cindy provides plenty of towels and misc necessities you don’t know you need, until you do. The reason I gave it 4 starts for location is that it is on a busy intersection with a stop sign. You do hear traffic at night. We used earplugs and then it was not a problem. Overall it was a wonderful place to park for our long weekend. If you are an antiques person you will love how it is furnished and if you are not, you will still love it because it is done very tastefully. There is no cable TV, but you have access to Netflix and that was all we needed. Wi-Fi is easy to access and fast. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the cute front room. There were tons of throws throughout the sitting rooms for a light cover. Both a coffee pot and Kureig are available for your use. Cindy is VERY responsive to any questions you might have. Hope we can book this gem next time we are in South Bend!

My family of four really enjoyed our stay in this clean and cozy home. We especially appreciated the 3 comfortable bedrooms and 2 full baths. The photos and decor made it feel like we were right at home. Communication was quick and friendly and the whole process was nice and simple. If we return to South Bend, this is definitely where we will stay!

Cindy’s home was perfect for our week long stay. There was plenty of room for four adults and we enjoyed using the kitchen to prepare a few meals. The location is perfect if you plan to spend time on Notre Dame’s campus or downtown. We also loved spending the evenings sitting on the front porch.

We chose this home for the weekend of our son's wedding at Notre Dame. The location is excellent--we enjoyed walking to campus one morning and took evening walks around the neighborhood. The home itself is lovely, nicely appointed, and very clean. A couple things to note: the kitchen is tiny (cute, but tiny) and does not have a dishwasher or a garbage disposal. This didn't bother us much (since we have neither in our home either) and I can understand why these were absent since they can be a problem in a rental house, but this did surprise us so I just wanted to let others know to expect this ahead of time. Cindy was an excellent host. She accommodated for a late departure since we needed to take some family to O'Hare before departing South Bend. We were very happy with our stay here and hope to find this house available the next time we need to stay in South Bend.

Was in town for a hockey camp at ND. Perfect location, would rent again.
