Unser Zimmer war sauber und mit einer Klimaanlage und einem Ventilator ausgestattet. Ohne wäre es kaum zum aushalten gewesen, da wir schon morgens 36 Grad hatten.
Die Küche war größtenteils ausgestattet und hatte ebenfalls einen Ventilator.
Vor allen Türen befanden sich Mückengitter.
Zudem hatten wir eine kleine Terrasse mit einer Couch und zwei Tischen und Stühle und auch einen Ventilator.
Es gab Handtücher zum duschen und für den Strand.
Wir mussten NICHT wie beschrieben 200$ Kaution zahlen.
Es war ziemlich praktisch das wir einen Kühlschrank im Zimmer hatten.
Einmal war eine Kakerlake im Waschbecken, ansonsten wenig Krabbeltiere.
In der Küche könnte etwas mehr Besteck sein.

Very close to the beach, literally across the road. Clean room, comfortable bed, good A/C, nice bathroom with hot shower. Fridge in the room. Kitchen has cold and hot water for drinking, and the necessary you need to cook basic meals.
You have your own little patio with a sofa, table and chairs and a hammock.
The kitchen could do with a revamp and some more utensils. But it's good enough for a few days.
The room can be a little noisy as it's next to the road, but at night the road is quiet, so we didn't have a problem.

I loved the fact that this accommodation is just two minutes walk from a lovely beach. The town is not much further, about five minutes walk. There are three rooms in a nice garden. They all have bathroom with shower and a terrace each. There's a communal kitchen, which was great. The vibe is quiet, it's a small family run hotel and the owners are pleasant and very helpful. The room is cleaned daily. Would definitely stay there again.

Spotless. In fact they cleaned the room every day. They were super friendly and provided good information about the town. They gave us beach chairs and boogie boards.

Overall I would recommend Casa del Sol. Very close to the beach (2 minute walk across the road), close enough to town (5-10 min walk depending what part of town you need to walk to), quiet location. Kitchen is clean and well equipped. Staff are kind and attentive! Wifi is good and hot water was not a problem. Hammock and couch on the front porch is a nice plus! Room was a good size and was cleaned each day.
The bed was SO uncomfortable, it feels like a hard rock. A mattress topper would go a long way! Pillows are also not great, so I’d definitely bring your own. Also if you’re looking to be right in the middle of town/the action, this is not the place for you, but it is easy to walk there. One other downside is the walls/window seem very thin, the window faces the common outdoor area near the owner’s home and other guest rooms so there are often people walking by and you can hear footsteps/convo/the gravel very clearly. So doesn’t exactly feel romantic/secluded for couples if that matters to you!

Emanuel helped make my stay in Tamarindo perfect. He helped with shuttle service both to and from his hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again if I came back. The common kitchen had everything you need to make a few meals yourself.

Emanuel and the family giving you all information up front. They will answer and help you with what you need. Everything is clean, the way to the beach is 2 min by feet and it is quite even it is so close to the city Center. I can recommend the place.

It was clean and it has pretty much everything you may need. Close to the beach, not the 20 seconds they say but a couple of minutes walk and you are right in front of the ocean. Close to downtown Tamarindo and there is only 3 rooms, so it is a bit quiet in that aspect. Admin is courteous and respond to messages.
After making the reservation the Hotel reported this is a cash-only establishment which should have been noted in the Booking page at the time of reservation, maybe I missed it, but it was more upsetting when they offered Paypal with an additional $10 for the charge. Strange enough they demand a $200 security deposit which can be done with a credit-card, explain me that! So it is just convenience for the place, not for the host I guess.
Being an average 6' person, I found everything to be way to tight, the shower, the toilet and the bed. While being a solo host, I felt like I was not alone and not in the good way.

The perfect place to stay in Tamarindo! Great welcome, comfy room with our own private verandah with a super hammock, & a kitchen stocked with all the basics, 2 mins to the beach, but quiet - what more do you need?! Wish we could have stayed longer. And a friendly kitten!

Clean facilities, location was great, beautiful garden setting, outstanding staff, good kitchen setup. On the edge of town so not too busy, one minute walk to the beach, two minutes walk to restaurants and truck food court, three minutes walk to groceries, bank, and pharmacy. Will definitely stay here next time.
