The view from the apartment id stunning, the food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and professional.

Incredible views, food, and staff. It was an incredible experience to stay at Ashtari, the room was really nice and we enjoyed the outdoor area to relax in privacy and enjoy the views over the area. The food in the restaurant here is incredible, we can’t wait to come back again. We did not realise that the yoga was included with the room booking but would definitely utilise this on our next stay.

NOIS, wasn't possible to sleep because of party (we moved away). Room was really old, not cozy at all. Toilet was seperate.

The view is very nice. The apartment is well located, 10 mins drive from Kuta city center. There is a restaurant in the same building with a great view as well (but for breakfast open only on weekends). Food is good but not exceptional (pizza, pasta, salad, etc.).

The service was very disappointing: - Before arrival: we were aware that the lodge got several complaints about their breakfast service (see other comments). - Upon arrival: we had to explain that the breakfast was included. They didn’t believe us, and ask us to show the reservation. - Day 1: breakfast was only 5 pastries. No juice. No other option. We asked fruit in complement. The manager came back with some fruit, and she asked us to give back 2 pastries in exchange. (It really seemed that she paid lot of attention so that breakfast remain minimal, caring more about the cost than the guest experience) - Day 2: there was no coffee for breakfast, because the staff on-site did not know how to make it, and the coffee machine in our apartment was broken… - Day 3: we asked for an extra coffee cup for the day before (as the manager said it's only 1 per day). But they prepared an instant coffee with a very questionable taste instead of the standard fresh one (maybe in order to save cost again?) - well, we didn't like this gesture. Room: - No anti-insect net installed in the loft (the doors are in open style). After sunset, the rooms with lights on are full of inspects. General feedback: - It would be better to add just 2-3$ in the room rate and at least provide free coffee or fresh juice or enough breakfast for the guests. It’s also nice to not charge for bottles of water with restaurant price (can just include it into the room rate, like other hotels do) - We got the feeling that the loft is looking after each cost (in a noticeable way), which is not a good feeling to share with guests who are on holidays. People don’t care to pay a little more, just include it in the standard room price to not share a ‘cheap’ image of the place. - It would be very easy to install a net on the open-area. This would be a real plus for the guest experience, since it is not possible to stay in the evening with the lights on.
