My family and I had a great time staying at Mark's place. Plenty of room inside and outside. Mark was a great host and extremely easy to communicate with. 10 out 10!

My family of 3 stayed here for 5 days while visiting my son who is in college in Santa Barbara. This house is wonderful! It’s clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you might need. The backyard is a lovely oasis and this property is within walking distance to the beach. We couldn’t have been happier and will definitely stay here again when we return to lovely Santa Barbara.

Enjoyed the daily short walk to the beach. Hope to return soon.

5 ⭐️’s doesn’t do this home justice. Wonderful location, incredibly cozy, every amenity you could want, clean, and a great backyard to just chill..private and shady and plenty of great seats for everyone. Can’t recommend this place enough. You will NOT be disappointed!

Everything about this house was well thought out with the guest in mind. It was impeccably clean and everything was in excellent working order. We stayed here with our dog immediately after staying at two 5-star ocean side resorts and found this house to be their equal in comfort. The primary bathroom was exceptional! The kitchen was well equipped. Our dog loved the yard and would sit in the sun as I made breakfast each morning. We did find the traffic noise from adjacent Cliff Drive slightly distracting, but not a showstopper. Overall, Mark was a responsive host who has created a lovely home for guests visiting Santa Barbara. We would enjoy staying there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Mark’s house. It was perfect for our family of six. The location is amazing! We had everything we needed to be able to cook our meals. We definitely hope to be able to stay here again!

We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at this charming home in Santa Barbara, just one block from the ocean. The location was incredibly convenient, with a short walk to the beach, close to all attractions, cafes and restaurants. The well-maintained, charming and welcoming house and beautiful garden made for a lovely atmosphere.
Mark is a great host! His communication was excellent and service outstanding. The home was so generously appointed - we truly appreciate things like a complimentary bottle of wine, coffee, soap, shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom, lots of comfy blankets to curl up in, extra towels, tons of glassware, serving dishes.Truly excellent!
Check-in and out were well-explained and didn't ask us to do too much. Essentially, a breeze. We couldn't have had a better experience. Thanks again for the wonderful experience. We loved it so much we would happily stay here again and recommend this place to friends and family.

I stayed with friends for the weekend. We were so impressed by the home, yard, location, and abundance of extra necessities the house contained. It was the perfect short get away. Comfortable, easy access to so much, and beautiful accommodations…we are already planning a return!

What an amazing, beautiful place to stay for our trip to Santa Barbara. Everything about the stay at this home was perfect. The communication and instructions prior to arrival were clear and concise. The property was ultraclean. Every necessity and more was available. The beach is literally right down the road. I didn't want to leave! Definitely will return for our family trips!!!

Extremely beautiful place for our family of 5 adults. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Close to the beach and short drive to downtown. Highly recommend this location.

The house could not have been more perfect!! It was so beautiful and worked so well for me, the wheelchair user, and my friends from elementary school. Santa Barbara is a gem. The location allowed us to spend all our time walking (me being pushed by my friends)--first to the lovely downtown area and the next day along gorgeous Shoreline Drive to the pier. We went to excellent restaurants--including Opal's and an upscale vegan place, Oliver's in Montecito. We hope to come back next year!!

Couldn't be a better spot -- we made the short walk to Shoreline Park at least once if not twice per day. House is wonderfully equipped and comfortable.

The house had everything we wanted, plus!
Comfortable, lovely furnishings, great location. Quick walk to the beach, Stearns Wharf, State Street. Comfort, beauty, beach - nothing could have been better.
Mark was wonderful to work with!

Lovely home and garden, perfect for us! Although located next to a busy street, noise was no issue. Blocks from the beach. Quiet neighborhood.

We loved this property so much we reserved dates with the host for next year before we left! Highlights are: walk to the beach, great backyard, well appointed kitchen. Pet Friendly-out dog had a BLAST. The out door living space and grill were fabulous. The walls are thick in this property. We have stayed in many in the Mesa and that has been our biggest complaint but not at this property. You can sleep well with your kids in another room and not wake them up by cooking or socializing in the common area.

The house is very nicely decorated. It’s was comfortable for all of us. Very close to the beach and a quick drive to downtown. Kitchen is well stock for general use. The backyard was enjoyable to use for kids, dogs, and adults. Would defiantly stay here again!

Great property. Close to the beach. We walked down to the beach every morning. Pet friendly. My dogs love the backyard and walking in the neighborhood. This is our second time staying here. Mark is friendly and helpful . Highly recommend.

This property was amazing! Pictures online don’t do it justice. Our family of 4 and our friends(also a family of 4) all had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. There is a long patio table outside where we all sat comfortably enjoying the outdoor oasis. This house was clean and had all of this things you would need to enjoy cooking a meal for 8 and going down and enjoying the beach. The owner was so helpful to recommend a ton of places to go to, to eat at and to not miss out on. The home was clean and well maintained. We already discussed renting this house again next year. Total 5 star!

The owner was very thoughtful in setting up this property. This made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Loved the decor and the location was perfect for us.

We were all long-overdue for a break and 4 nights in Santa Barbara (followed by 4 nights in Huntington Beach) did the trick! We were thrilled that Mark trusted us and our four large dogs in his home. Despite a little extra sand, we left his place intact. The off-leash dog beach (Hendry’s) was our favorite and we ate three meals at the Boathouse Restaurant there, all were amazing! One day we enjoyed a walk to the wharf for lunch and another day we visited the Museum of Natural History. Marks place was clean, comfortable, and provided all we needed for the perfect getaway.

This property was absolutely perfect for our two week stay. We walked to the shoreline path everyday, walked to the fish market and went to the farmers market - it was just a really great first visit. The host is great and may even be one of the best we have encountered. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this home again if we are in the area.

We were 2 adults plus dog. House was very clean and had everything we needed. The East Mesa area of Santa Barbara is our favorite and we were a short car hop to everything downtown. Dog loved walks along nearby Shoreline Drive.

We had a lovely stay at Mark's house in Santa Barbara in mid-February. The house really has everything you need and all details have been thought through. We traveled with three kids and my mother in law. The house is a 10 min walk down to Shoreline park which was great for morning walks and watching the sunset in the evening. It is on the corner of a main street but didn't impact us really - could not hear too much noise. Santa Barbara is small enough that you could be down in the Harbor or on State Street within 5 min by car. The house is in a great location to explore.
The beds were all super comfy. There are two nice bedrooms in one section of the house with a king and queen. The master bath was a nice surprise - very nice! There is then a smaller room off the main family room that has a fireplace and a pullout full size bed. My son loved this room. Upstairs is a loft area with another pull out bed. The loft is right above the main family room so we decided to not have the little ones up there so that the tv/chatter didn't keep them up at night.
The pics don't do it justice...lovely place and one we would stay at again!

This home was even better than it looks in the pictures! My family of 8, and our dog, just spent 4 nights here. I can’t say enough about this rental! Plenty of space for all of us. I’ve never stayed in a vacation rental this well stocked. Plenty of towels, bedding, kitchen supplies…everything we could possibly need for our stay. And the backyard! Perfect! Fantastic location, just a short walk to the beach. Communication with the owner was just right. He had lots of wonderful recommendations for the area, and was prompt with replies. I look forward to our next trip to Santa Barbara and staying in this house again.

This property is located in one of our favorite types of neighborhoods - all of the houses are different which makes it fun to walk. The City College is blocks away with an easy cut-through. The campus is lovely and has a huge lawn area that is kind of an un-official dog park with a beautiful view of the coastline. We enjoyed mingling with the locals and their pups. Easy access to the beach and freeway, downtown, pier, but far enough away that it is relaxing.
The house itself was perfect for us. Felt like home away from home. Clean, good wi-fi, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Mark was an amazing host. Left us a nice bottle of wine, coffee, waters, and ample paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, soaps etc. He is attentive without being intrusive and prompt to respond to any texts.
Our group was my husband and I, our two sons /spouses and two dogs. The four young people had to work during the weekdays (all work remotely and have various calls during the day). I mention this because the house has a nice layout, and it was very accommodating for us all to have a space without feeling crowded.
We loved our stay and highly recommend! Joanne and family

Everything you could possibly need. And decked out beautifully for Christmas. Mark was a generous and thoughtful host.

This property is beautifully decorated and equipped. We stayed between the holidays and the Christmas spirit was celebrated throughout the house. The beds are comfy, the place is immaculate, and the house is just a few blocks to Ledbetter (for the surfers) and a great park for walking a dog. We would definitely return to this lovely property.

This may have been the cleanest vacation rental we've ever stayed at! Everything was exactly as it appears on the listing. The house is lovely, the yard is great, and it's close to everything. Super comfortable and truly pet friendly. Not "kind of pet friendly." 😉 Mark's communication was excellent and his area guide super helpful. We won't hesitate to book here the next time we're headed to SB and you shouldn't either!

Well appointed, clean house - comfortable for family of 4 and a dog over Thanksgiving Week
Incredible quick access (less than 10 minutes) to everything Santa Barbara has to offer: various beaches, dining areas, and hikes.
Highly responsive owner.
Overall, a great stay in a terrific destination.

Wonderful hosts and place to gather for our family. It was thoughtfully supplied.
5.0
5 of us stayed in this house with a small dog and everything was perfect. We were close to everything in Santa Barbara (beach, park, short ride to downtown, etc), the house had everything we needed (good pots/pans, wide assortment of knives, utensils, cookware, glasswear, plates, everything!). There was a coffee pot + keurig with coffee selection, creamers, sugars, everything needed here also. Air conditioners in the rooms. Nice backyard for hanging and safe for dogs.
And the owner was proactive with emails and very kind.
Highly recommend!
