This home was absolutely perfect and the view overlooking Santa Barbara to ocean was spectacular. Multi-level home with various living spaces affords privacy. Backyard landscaping is so beautiful. Even had deer in garden. Would love to return.

Wonderful return
Second time we have stayed at this property in last 10 years, and it is still the best. Great location, terrific management, and roomy enough for 8 adults. We will be back

We really enjoyed our stay here—there was enough space to easily accommodate a family and the furnishings are comfortable with some nice extras. While there were multiple seating areas inside and out, we loved the upper deck and spent most of our time there, including meals. We also loved the large and well equipped kitchen—by far the best we’ve had at a rental. On the minuses, the furnishings and bathrooms are not updated and maintenance could be a bit better. But the minuses were not significant enough to detract from an excellent stay. One thing to note—the 4th bedroom off the laundry room does not have easy access to a bathroom. It was fine for the single guy we put in there but would not be good for a couple.

Riviera Retreat was perfect for our family week. Beautiful kitchen, 2 living rooms, spacious bedrooms, and a great deck with a spectacular view. The grounds were full of so many different cactus and succulents as well as loads of fruit trees for your picking! The Hot tub was huge and clean.
Our last day and night was very warm outside and inside upstairs. Downstairs remained cool. The fans provided were definitely needed. In case you are concerned about noise being on the riviera, I found it hardly noticeable. I would definitely stay here again, we loved it!

This property is amazing! Expansive views from almost every room. Lots of space and privacy for a group. We loved everything about it, and will definitely be back!

Riviera Retreat is an exceptional property. This home has wonderful ocean views from nearly every room along the rear of the home and mountain views from the front of the home. The many decks and patios offer plenty of opportunities to dine al fresco, sip some wine, or read your latest book selection. The view at night is also impressive with twinkling city lights. The home is fully equipped. My family enjoyed the spa and the fooz ball table but mostly we enjoyed our meals on the deck. The terraced backyard with beautiful succulents is a nice place to sit, or take a walk around. We will certainly return to this lovely property. I would highly recommend this home to all of my friends and family. There is so much to do in Santa Barbara. We enjoyed multiple mountain hikes, beach walks, wine tastings, and the many wonderful restaurants. We particularly enjoyed The Lark, Lucky Penny for fabulous pizza and The Honor Bar in Montecito. You'll have a fantastic time in this lovely home and Santa Barbara is truly a paradise destination. Also, Paradise Retreats is a very thorough and organized company to deal with on any of their rentals. Have Fun!

We stayed at the Rivera Retreat with our family of 5 and a friend's family of 3 for a week. Plenty of room (although my 16 year old son had to sleep on a couch since the futon in the playroom was broken and our friend's child was a 21 year old female). Excellent views. Very responsive property management. Modern appliances. Many spices were available in the panty. Clean working grill. Nice looking hot tub (we were too busy to actually use it). The fruit trees were a plus. The washing machine and dryer were an added bonus. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The street to the property was quite challenging (up hill and very curvy) but worth the drive. There was even a beach tar removal kit just inside of the front door and a water hose just outside of the door to remove the sand from our feet. We come to Santa Barbara every year and usually stay at the Fess Parker or Bacara Hotels. This year we wanted to try something different and rented a house instead. Everyone had a great time. My wife and kids can't wait to stay here again. (P.S. I felt right at home when I first arrived and opened up the cabinet. I saw two Michigan Alumi Association drinking glasses---my wife and I are both duel degree alumus of Michigan.)

Gorgeous views, Goregous Home,
We had a small family reunion for the Labor Day weekend.
Rivera Retreat was beyond what we expected. Our family had so much fun.
The home was fully equipped for cooking all our meals, sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful view and sunsets.
It was sad to leave, their was plenty of room where you felt you had your own suite.
The grounds were beautiful and immaculate. We will be back next September. Thank you for sharing your home
