We loved every minute of it and we can’t wait to come back.

We had a great time fishing out back! The house was beautiful and the little ones loved to run and play on the wrap around front porch and out back in the sand. Very cozy.

This home lived up to it's name Family tides, everything was comfortable as if you were home. We enjoyed being able to go out the back door to fish (kids really loved this). I wish there was outside lighting in the back to enjoy sitting after dark. We would definitely return in the future

We had an amazing time staying here and fishing off the dock

Lovely stay in this charming home on the creek on the island of Chincoteague. Home is comfortably updated, furnished and stocked with everything needed - including beach accessories. The creek this home sits on is quick moving, so families be ready with life preservers for kiddos who may tend to get close to the edge of the dock. Fun to watch the fishing boats float by and see some wildlife across the water!

Our second time here and we loved it. Staying again in a few weeks. Beautiful place

Your property was an excellent choice for family members from out of town. We celebrated Christmas here on the island early and needed extra space to comfortably accommodate our entire family. This property was a perfect solution.🎄🎄🎄

Great weekend. We sat on the porch and watched the Christmas Parade.

This rental is directly on the water - so if you like to kayak or boat - it’s ideal. The house was very clean. The only issue I had is that I couldn’t quite figure out the heating / cooling using the remotes - which seemed locked to a certain temperature

We enjoyed walking to restaurants and ice cream and had fun kayaking each morning. House was comfortable and had everything we needed.

We absolutely loved this property! The layout of the house is unique and the home has tons of charm but is still updated. We traveled with our 4 yr old and 2 yr old so we really appreciated all the toys and books that were available. My daughter unfortunately got sick one night so the washer/dryer being available was a life saver! The location of the property was perfect! We spent a lot of time outside watching wildlife and fishing. The house has everything you need and is close to shopping/restaurants. I’m especially thankful for the rental company getting the property ready earlier for us then expected. We drove down early and went right to the beach where my daughter cut her eyelid, so we were thankful to be able to take her to the property and get her cleaned up! Communication and service were top notch! Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our vacation stay in Chincoteague. We will be back next year!

Great family getaway
We had been to Chincoteague a few years ago and have been wanting to go back ever since. Our family has grown and we were looking for a place to take our 2 and 5 year olds. This was perfect. The house was clean, everyone had their own rooms, and the toys topped it off. My 5 year old loved taking the tandem kayak out in the bay and fishing from the dock. It was close enough to walk to ice cream and restaurants. Definitely will be a top choice of houses to rent when we go on our next vacation.

Property does not provide “Linens”, so be prepared to carry one more bag. Nice location, however due to lack linens it is incomplete rental. My rating is 2 stars only,

We visited Chincoteague for a long weekend over veteran’s day. The house was very comfortable. We’ll appointed kitchen and access to streaming services on the TVs. A short drive to Asateague island for beach, hiking trails, and ponies. About a 10 minute walk to restaurants on the other side of Main Street. Always get oysters!!! One restaurant, Chicotiki was still open for out door dining. Great to watch the sunset. The best feature was the dock out back. Great place for coffee in the morning and bird watching. Super quiet.

Cozy getaway
Great experience renting. All my questions were answered immediately and check in process was seamless. Wonderful home. It was a bit too cold to do any fishing but we will definitely be back when the weather is warmer!!

Everything plus books
We really had a wonderful time at Family Tides. I agree with all positive comments people have posted here. Our little kids also greatly enjoyed books when they needed little rest. Great selections!

This is a beautiful property in a great location. The house is much larger than the pictures show, so it was perfect for 2 "well-aged" women, 2 thirty somethings, an 11 year old, and a 5 year old. The master bedroom is big enough for a small family(!), and the bunk bed is cozy, with a good amount of space. The third bedroom is a double bed, and it's tiny, but had plenty of space for a single person. We got full use of the outdoors, and had a lot of fun fishing off the deck and kayaking. It was lovely to do our thing all day, only to arrive back at the house to enjoy the outdoors even more.

My heart is still there...
We had such a great stay at Family Tides. The location was perfect. The wildlife was amazing (dolphins swam down the canal behind the house). There were seven of us and the house was just the perfect size. If you are thinking about going to Chincoteague - just book this house and go!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Family Tides. The sandy area in the yard was perfect for entertaining the kids and my husband enjoyed paddle boarding from the dock. Since it was April, it was quite chilly at night, so we were thankful we brought extra blankets. There was a dishwasher, but it was very old, which did not make us want to use it. The washer and dryer were very helpful, especially with kids (you just need to bring your own detergent as there wasn’t any at the house). The master bedroom was spacious and comfortable, and it was definitely the best room of the house. Our kids really enjoyed the record player in the living room and the toys!

Very clean! The location is great to walk to shops and restaurants; it is in the heart of downtown. House has everything you might need; toys, thousands of books, albums and record player, TVs, and beach gear. The backyard has a therapeutic view of the water. Water front! The driveway is tight, too close to the neighbors, but not a big deal.

Great work by Seaside
When we arrived at this property, we found a construction site in the back yard, with the view of the water blocked by a barge and a large digger. we called Elaine at Seaside, and she switched us to another property, no questions asked. We were initially dismayed, as there was clearly a communication breakdown somewhere between the owner, the property manager, and us - Seaside was unaware of the issue until that same day, when the cleaning crew alerted them. Elaine was fantastic, and the property we switched to was gorgeous.

Family Vacation
We had a great time at the house. Everything was super clean. The master bedroom is just seperated from the rest of the house by a curtain and the linens are an additional rental, but overall, it was great.

Great time with family
We enjoyed the house and location on our stay this spring. We enjoyed walking around the waterfront and playground fun in between trips to the Wildlife Refuge and seashore. The house was clean, had well stocked kitchen supplies, laundry machines that worked great and helpful additions such as nightlights, games and books. Just an off-season note, I would have brought more blankets as we came in chilly weather and bed blankets all relatively light for washability for COVID protocol. Thanks for a such nice getaway.

A relaxing respite!
Loved drinking coffee on the dock in the morning. Comfortable home, just a short drive to the national seashore. We all had a great time relaxing--we almost forgot about Covid19!
