Sehr gute Unterkunft nahe dem Zentrum von Lalitpur. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Das Frühstück war ein wenig mager. Ansonsten war man hilfsbereit und meine Wünsche wurden erfüllt.

Die Toasts zu Frühstück wurden mir erst gebracht, als ich schon fertig mit allem anderen war. Die Menge der Marmelade war wirklich sehr knapp.

Grear place to stay and highly recommend.

Comfy and very friendly staff; the location is located near Patan Dunbar Square.

It is just slow in serving the breakfast even when you ordered the night before. But the staff were so apologetic, other than that I had an amazing stay.

A wonderful stay in central Patan!

The shower was great, the room was always clean. The breakfast was very good and the staff were eager to please. The cook even made me a white egg omelette!

The only downside was that the room faced the front of the building so it was noisy early morning and early evening. Otbheerwise I would have given the hotel a 10! To solve this the staff need to state do you want a room facing the courtyard (quieter) or street. But the staff in particular Aasha were very helpful and friendly!

If I have to write any thing at all, the hotel is not the easiest to find if you dont know the area.

It was great

Setting was really close to Durbar Square, but down a quiet street. Courtyard was peaceful for dinner and breakfast and staff were really nice and helpful.

Best pancakes ever, comfortable beds, massage, service, staff quality - all top notch!

Having a kitchen in the studio was a big plus. I LOVE the breakfast pancakes. Ordering food on room service, laundry service and daily cleaning all works 100%, top notch service. Staff is highly professional and were able to accommodate us even when there were some issues in one of the rooms - first they tried to solve the issues asap and when it wasn’t possible, they provided us with another room that was absolutely perfect. We stayed multiple times and tried 4 rooms in this hotel - studio 1 and 2, apartment 1 and 4. All rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable. The roof top terrace is amazing. Whatever we needed or wished for was provided. And I mean seriously - the PANCAKES 🧡 best I’ve ever had.

The rooftop apartment A4 was too hot and noisy for us - I am sensitive to both. After we had that experience, they moved us to another room that was much cooler and more quiet. For me personally, the location in Patan is quiet enough for staying in but too noisy and polluted for walking around. That is the only disadvantage that I can think off, plus unfortunately the price is a bit higher than I can afford for more than a couple of days. But the service is worth it, I felt incredibly comfortable, safe and taken care of.

Quiet, beautiful refuge in the midst of bustling Patan.

It's the perfect location to explore Patan, and I've yet to find another place that's as quiet, friendly, and welcoming. Truly a gem, worth every penny.

Home away from home

Everything about this hotel is amazing. My favourite place to stay in Kathmandu. The staff are so wonderful, caring and kind. The food, rooms, beds, cleanliness, comfort, atmosphere, all amazing. Feels like my home in Nepal :) Thank you to everyone at at Hotel Timila!

Universal plugs in rooms, netflix, great wifi and brilliant breakfast! Could not be any happier!

It was extremely clean and the facilities were above and beyond what was expected! The staff had impeccable manners and helped out us with every little enquiry. The staff and the owners were exceptional and could not do enough to help us, even driving us to an appointment when our taxi cancelled. Family owned and family orientered. Just fantastic! will ONLY ever stay here when in Katmandu.

Very good stay here

The rooms are big and comfortable, bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful at organising airport transfers. Breakfast in the morning was good.

Location is a little bit away from tourist areas like Thamel.

Very pleasant and comfortable.

The breakfast was really good, value for money. I was upgraded to the Bamboo Suite and had a beautiful terrace. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Shuttle service to the airport was good and affordable. Will definitely return when visiting Nepal again.

Fantasic service in a beautiful hotel.

Hotel Timila is beautiful. I’ve stayed at Timila 4 times now and will definitely be staying again when I next visit Nepal. The rooms are big, clean, comfortable and fresh feeling. The staff are extremely friendly and bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable. The roof terrace, where they serve breakfast, has beautiful views and, on a clear day, the sun setting behind the mountains is gorgeous to watch from up there! The location is great - it’s a quiet spot just off patan Durbar square where there are beautiful temples and lots of cafes, shops and restaurants. And on top of all that, prices to stay are very reasonable.

A memorable birthday 🎂🌹staycation

Friendliest on-site staffs. Very professional. And able to do the surprise birthday setup very beautifully❤️🎂 Thank you all for the room upgrade to studio with kitchen facilities. Clean duvet covers and sheets. Clean drinkable filtered large water jar provided. Lovely daily veg breakfast too. Will definitely be back again.
