The staff was very welcoming
The location is a bit far from attractions and subway

Tranquil, beautiful terrace area, large room with a small kitchenette which was useful, close to supermarket and restaurants and very good air conditioning!

The hotel is located in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood and had fabulous, friendly service. Daniel makes excellent cappuccinos and breakfast on the patio was delightful. The pool was a welcome retreat after a hot day of sightseeing. The Borghese Villa is within walking distance.
With the exception of the drive to the airport, it was hard to get a taxi (the problem might have been with the Itaxi app). We did a lot of walking and bussing, which was ok for us (we're fit walkers) but sometimes limited our activity schedule.

The staff were absolutely amazing! Extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help us.

The breakfast seating area was beautiful and peaceful. The arrival was friendly and informative. The bedroom was small but cosy. The pool area was great, the sun all day and drinks service. The area was generally really quiet and a contrast from the tourist center. Nearby there were lots of bars and restaurants with predominantly Italians, which gave a local feel.
The place was slightly 'tired' in some areas- e.g. some of the plants needed cutting back and there were some tiles missing in the pool. In a way this added to the charm but required some attention to detail.

The pool was nice to cool down during the hot Rome summer. Staff was nice, friendly and accommodating

Super friendly and helpful staff

The staff are so lovely and accommodating. Especially the lovely man that worked at reception. They all hard working.
We had some tradesmen working on the property so there was a bit of building noise. The floor near the pool needs to be repaired as I tripped over a few times. The place is pretty noisy so I wouldn’t say it’s a relaxing space. Great for those who don’t plan to be there much but need a comfortable place to relax after touring. There was also a baby screaming during the night.

We got a basement room, and there was ants everywhere on the bathroom

amazing location, easy to park on the street and to take the metro into the city center, clean, beautiful property and decor and very friendly staff
the beds were very hard but that seems to be typical for European beds

The breakfast was fresh pastries with good coffee. Could have had as much as we liked
Loved that we were out of the main tourist areas, a short taxi or a good walk took us all over the city. The staff could not have been more helpful, the local restaurants were great.

The staff here are so wonderful! I arrived before check-in time and they were able to provide my room early, give local dining recommendations and point out public transport links. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff here - shout out to Daniel, Temi, Nure and Alisher for making my weekend memorable!
The hotel is a really beautiful early 20th-century villa with outdoor pool and jacuzzi, and engulfed in greenery. Rooms are clean and large with incredible views and even kitchen facilities! It's situated close enough to the city centre to walk or take a short bus trip to see the sights, but far enough to escape the crowds of tourism.

A nice hotel in a more residential neighborhood. We had a spacious downstairs room with as an extra bonus a little kitchen. The garden and breakfast area is very nice and it feels like a little get away from the busy city. The staff is very friendly.
The breakfast was so so. It took quite some preparation time, so if you are in a rush to head into town it is best to skip. If you are with a family it gets quite expensive for the little breakfast you get (toast/coffee/some small pastries and yogurt). I recommend to have breakfast close by in one of the bars and restaurants. You save money and time.

nice quiet neighbourhood.
real terrible pillows !

The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean.
The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The owner was away.
The property was not as good as shown in the photos. The grounds were unkept, the outside areas poorly maintained. The outside area and pool looked so much better in the photos. You couldn't use the pool without a bathing cap which put us off using it and we never struck this anywhere else we stayed. Maybe they need to invest in a new filter.
The owner was on holiday but really does need to do some maintenance outside as the steps are uneven which can be quite dangerous and the gardens overgrown with weeds.

getting a drink took a long time

The hotel is tucked away in a very nice, quiet residential area away from the centre. There are good transport links nearby, bus, tram and metro connections within a short walk. There are some lovely local restaurants serving delicious italian food within walking distance and a nice shopping area close by. The breakfast was a little basic, toast, jam, marmalade etc, croissants, fresh fruit, eggs and tea/coffee. It would have been nice to have had the choice of cereals, granola etc as well. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble.
It would have been nice to have had bathrobes in the room and a full length mirror to be able to get ready. The towels supplied for the pool area could have been nicer.

staff was super nice and helpful. the area around the hotel is super nice with nice places to eat very close
the pool was not looking at all like on the photos - seems like quite a while since it was used

The staff was wonderful! Daniel was extremely nice and helpful! Neri was sweet. We were greeted with drinks and snacks and given trips and pointers for the city. The room was big and clean. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The king bed was actually two doubles pushed together, which was fine, except that one side was exceptionally firm and hurt my back. Management was very nice and tried to add some padding, but I ended up sleeping on the couch. We had a first-floor room with two walls of windows which made us feel a little on display. We didn't realize that the location was about 3 miles from city center. We ended up having to take a cab into town which was about $30 round trip.

The neighbourhood is grand and full of old villas and palaces tucked away from the scruffy main roads into the city. It is a really lovely area to stay in and escape from the busy city. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, they really do treat their guests as guests, we had a lovely welcome from Nuri, and the rest of the people in the team that we met were equally kind and happy to help. We didn't have breakfast, but the staff were very happy to provide tea in our room in the mornings. Housekeeping was very good and we had a super fast turnaround on a large load of laundry.
The reality didn't quite live up to the photographs on the website, I think they must have been taken a while ago, as the soft furnishings and wooden furniture are faded now and nothing is quite so fresh looking. The outside areas are also less spacious than they look, as are the rooms. The pool had a green edge. There aren't any luxurious toiletries either. It would be nice to have a kettle in the room, but there was a fridge.
4.5
The staff was very very friendly and we were able to store our luggage at the hotel until the evening. The pool was quite small, but deep and not too croweded, there is a public bathroom and a lot of places where it's quite and you can relax. We quite enjoyed it.
The fridge was quite noisy in the room, we had to unplug ist. Also the bathroom ventilation was too loud. The breakfast only had soy milk, cornflakes, toast and jam as vegan options. Some fresh vegetables for breakfast would have been nice at least. But the staff was very friendly, so that compensated this things quite a lot!
4.5
I got in very late and all the restaurants were booked. The receptionist and owner whipped me up some pasta and a glass of wine and I had a wonderful evening sitting on the veranda talking with them. Better than any restaurant. I love this hotel and will return every time I am in Rome. Being able to take a dip in the pool after a heat wave filled day was also spectacular.
Nothing to add

The pool was a huge draw since it was so hot in July. Daniel was so accommodating and made one feel very welcome as well as the rest of the staff. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. Having breakfast or snack by the pool was delightful and the location easy to get to attractions and the neighbourhood was also pleasant.

On arrival we were greeted by Timmy who was very welcoming friendly and helpful. He gave us a map and showed us around the hotel. Nothing seemed too much trouble- a genuinely nice guy. The place itself is nicely decorated, clean and organised. We enjoyed our stay overall. The staff were mostly on hand for everything we needed, I liked how they remembered our names, it felt more personal. The bed was comfy enough, probably a little hard for most but I like it firm. The room was clean and cleaned daily by again warm friendly staff. The air con was a god send, fab! There is a fridge in the room and a hairdryer, we didn't need much more.
We also loved the resident cat Peggy and her cheeky personality.
The location is where we expected, not right near the hussle and bustle and about a 15 minute walk to the nearest underground station. The restaurants at the end of the street and co op around the corner were all in reach as explained in the description. I think overall value for money considering the location and time of year.
Very minor issues, the tv didn't tune to more than a few channels but were in rome, we wasnt watching much TV!
We didn't get in the pool, it didn't look clean, which was a shame because we really wanted to use it after a long day walking. Same with the hot tub, we lifted the lid and it was dirty.
The pool area is located on a rooftop which you have to access by climbing some steps, this area was all overgrown and unclean it could do with being cut back and the decking secured down.
Didn't enjoy the egg breakfast, overcooked both mornings. €17 euros seemed a bit excessive as did €12 for a G&T.
One morning my partner went down to order us some coffee before heading off for the day. He sat outside and waited, and waited and when a lady with grey hair came out she didn't acknowledge him and served someone else just arriving. I'm sure it wasn't intentional but it seemed a bit odd compared to how friendly all the other staff were. We ended up leaving and got something from somewhere else.
I asked for a taxi to be called to the airport for the next day but was recommended to download an app for this. We had already had difficulty with taxis on arrival so I was dubious to use an app (not uber) Also Rome Taxis have a set fee. Anyway, it was kindly ordered later that day by Timmy and this put my mind at rest and it showed up on time!
