La proximité de beaucoup de lieux historiques doublée de nombreuses informations de la part de Marco

Great stay in Palermo.

Great stay in Palermo. Excellent position near the Teatro Massimo. Marco the owner ready to help in any moment and offers advice for visiting the most important places. WIFI is for free and works very well. The room is large and comfortable. Kitchen and terrace available.

Super recomendable, gracias Marco

La atención de Marco realmente hizo la diferencia. El departamento está muy bien, es amplio, cómodo, con cocina compartida, buena cama, limpio, todo perfecto, pero lo que destacó fue Marco, tuve un arribo complicado y me salvó la vida. Estuvo siempre a disposición, sus recomendaciones fueron geniales, y coordinó mi ida al aeropuerto de manera impecable. Muy atento y simpático.

Lo único malo es que es un poco ruidoso, esta en una calle muy concurrida, frente a la parte trasera del Teatro Massimo, lo cual es un punto a favor porque tiene una ubicacion excelente, pero tiene ese inconveniente. El fin de semana el ruido es soportable, pero tuvimos la mala suerte de despertarnos el lunes 7am con un camión que vino a poder arboles, lo cual claramente es una circunstancia excepcional.

Tutto bello all'apparenza e non nella sostanza

L'accoglienza è stata ottima, Marco il proprietario appassionato nel descrivere i luoghi più belli di Palermo, ci ha illustrato tutto sul suo tablet. Ottima anche la posizione della struttura, la pulizia e dimensione della camera, che si affaccia su un lato del teatro e il wi-fi.

Marco il proprietario, che non risiede lì, è stato molto disponibile all'accoglienza, meno però nel risolvere i problemi. Il nostro? Mancanza di acqua calda! Dopo un primo messaggio di risposta di Marco, che non mi risolveva il problema, ho aggiunto specifiche e un minivideo della caldaia, ma non c'erano neanche le spuntature di lettura ai messaggi whatsapp successivi, il suo "mi faccia sapere" strideva alquanto. Risultato abbiamo dovuto rinunciare alle docce la prima sera (frustrante!) e risolvere il problema da soli l'indomani, facendo una serie di prove la mattina seguente, dopo aver constatato ancora il "mute" dei messaggi. Per vostra conoscenza: la caldaia va in blocco ogni volta che non si usa spesso l'acqua, quindi va spenta per un bel pò, e riaccesa. Altro problema per chi ha il sonno leggero, ma non risolvibile: l'appartamento è su una piazza enorme, quella su un lato del Teatro dell'Opera, ma la stanza NON è insonorizzata! Malgrado i tappi non sono riuscita a dormire, in quanto la piazza è molto rumorosa a tutte le ore della notte. Altro problema per me, donna: non c'è il bidet in bagno, ma solo un doccino con molto calcare, che alla fine non ho potuto usare altrimenti avrei allagato il bagno, visto che perde acqua dalla guarnizione. Peccato poteva andare meglio. Passabile solo per la posizione.

Posizione centralissima, a confine tra città vecchia e città nuova. A pochi metri dal corso principale (via Maqueda). Vista incantevole sul teatro Massimo. Host superdisponibile.

Non potevamo chiedere di più.

In pieno centro a Palermo, di fronte al teatro Massimo di cui si gode di una fantastica vista anche dalla finestra della camera, si trova Opera House. E' gestita da due ragazzi ma noi abbiamo conosciuto solo Marco e ci basta e avanza perché persona veramente disponibile, un pozzo di conoscenza riguardo alla sua città. Ci ha dato tanti consigli su come muoverci, cosa visitare e anche dove andare a mangiare. La stanza bella, con vista spettacolare, come ho accennato sopra, su Teatro Massimo, arredata con gusto, accogliente. C'è una cucina in comune, la macchinetta del caffè a disposizione di tutti, noi abbiamo trovato anche dei dolcini, un frigorifero, che è sempre utile. La palazzina silenziosa e pulita, comodo l'accesso, dotato di ascensore. Essendo in pieno centro c'è traffico e può risultare rumoroso per chi è abituato a dormire nel più completo silenzio, ma a noi non ha importato affatto. Possibilità di anticipare il check-in se la stanza è libera ( a noi non hanno chiesto nessun extra da pagare) e si possono lasciare i bagagli dopo il check-out (ovviamente su richiesta). Che dire? Uno dei soggiorni più belli che abbiamo vissuto. Ci torneremo, sia per la struttura che per Palermo, meravigliosa città.

Palermo toccata e fuga

Molto gentile il ragazzo alla reception! Ci ha attesi anche se siamo arrivati dopo mezzanotte. Struttura con tutto il necessario, anche una cucina condivisa. Molto carina e in posizione centralissima!

Un po' rumoroso, data la posizione centrale, ma con tende tirate e porte chiuse, si attutiscono un po' i rumori esterni.

Good

Good size room in a very good location. The owner was super friendly and helpful with any questions. Good an comfortable bed. The room and bathroom where both clean and equipped with everything you need. Perfect for our visit to the Opera which I would definitely reccomend. Its very close to loads of sites, shops caffès and restaurants. Location is perfect.

The windows do nothing at all in terms of noise cancelling, being so close to the Opera the roads are busy into the night and it feels like being right next to it even though its 5th floor. The shared kitchen needs a bit of a clean and tidy and the fridge needs replacing. Good accomodation that is in need some attention.

Très bon emplacement pour la visite de Palerme mais trop bruyant.

La situation géographique de l'appartement est très appréciable, juste derrière le teatro massimo. La chambre que nous avons réservée était spacieuse et agréable. Notre hôte, que nous avons rencontré le premier jour, était sympathique et de bon conseil.

Le bruit ! Certes, cela fait partie intégrante de Palerme mais un double vitrage serait le bienvenu, surtout lorsqu'on donne sur la rue.

The room was recently renovated, spacious, bright, sparkling clean and perfectly equipped! The hotel is in the heart of the city center, close to all the attractions. A big plus for us was the welcome from Marco, the host, that took the time to have a coffee with us and provide us with suggestions for sightseeing/food/drinks but from the perspective of a local and beyond just reading a touristic guide. Another big plus is that the hotel has a little shared kitchen equipped with everything that someone needs and a cute balcony for the smokers of for the ones that just want some fresh air. To summarise: high standards, relaxed vibe, great location. Highly recommended!

Might have been good a few years ago but has slipped greatly

Good location

We thought when we were booking that we were getting an apartment by ourselves not a room in someone's apartment where they sometimes lived. The kitchen is falling apart, the shower head/pipe is falling apart along with the towel rail in the bathroom. The curtain is off the rail in bedroom. The room wasn't ready when we turned up at 4pm (we had agreed to be there between 3 and 4pm) Noone there until 4:30 and the rooms hadn't been cleaned. Marco came to set us up but we had to leave in order for him to get our room ready- cups in sink and bins overflowing until Christine came on Wednesday to get the other room ready for guests. No wine opener in the apartment until Saturday night.

Opera House is probably the best option for Palermo.! The room is really good and has everything you need. The view of the opera is exceptional.! Close to everything you would wish. Christina was an amazing host, very helpful and responsive. I would most definitely recommend!

Perfect location, super clean and amazing staff.

Perfect location, in the city center, walking distance from all the main tourist attractions. The bedroom (and in general the house) is very clean, comfortable and with everything necessary for a great stay - including a welcome water bottle. AC in the bedroom, definitely a plus considering the high temperature in the city. Possibility to store things in the fridge as well. Amazing staff, super friendly and accommodating - they even arranged to keep our luggage after checking out and provided reccos on how to get there from the airport (taxi sharing, 8€).

Bathroom floor is a bit slippery after shower - but nothing that really compromised our stay :)
