there’s a restaurant inside the hostel property.
The rooms are very small for 4-bed dorm, and very stuffy, a ceiling fan and two small windows but not much ventilation and very humid. Basically, no one stay inside the room during the day. There’s a plastic covered all the mattresses, I guess to keep them clean, but they make squeegee sounds every single time anyone moves, so every
one wakes up once anyone moves or turns at night. Half of the shared toilets and showers were locked when I was there, and they all were mixed (male & female) showers and toilets, no separated, so I always have to choose a few toilets before I can go in one because many of the toilets were covered with pees.

Loved the walking trails they have. Feels like your in the jungle. Our room was a reasonable price and there is. Communal kitchen which is great as food in restaurant is very expensive.
They tried to say we didn’t pay for the room. Which is very upsetting as we had such a nice time there. But because we paid cash we have no proof. I don’t think this was malicious but it’s awful being accused of something when you always pay when you get the room. So I’m not sure if there’s a untrustworthy staff member or mix up but definitely ruined the experience.

The jungle walks are nice
The kitchen is situated next to the bathroom so there is a stench of faeces when cooking. There were cockroaches on the kitchen counter and the general cleanliness of the kitchen was poor. The kitchen facilties was not big enough for the number of people at the accomodation. The metal beds were loose and noisy so difficult to sleep. We checked out early and the staff wouldn't give us a refund.

Location is great. Nice pool and trail inside the hotel's area.
Kind staff and nice people with a good vibe.
Some rooms are quite small but it's understandable- could be hot at night because there is no air conditioner.

The garden is a whole jungle with walking trails, waterfalls and wild animals. The apartment was large and comfortable. Nice retro yet modern furniture.
Breakfast was not included in the rate we had.
Bus stop is a hefty walk uphill.

Pool and lots of trails for walking. Good restaurant on site.

Very nice hotel with a nice atmosphere. There is a quiet time time after 22:00 which was so good for sleeping
In the bathroom flush was not working

The bed was super comfy.
Hot water in the shower but did take time to come through.
Staff were friendly and treated us to a free cocktail for our honeymoon.
Food was a good size and yummy.
The pool is clean and refreshing.
The shared kitchen is very small and not enough pots. There is no towel to pick up hot pots or dry items.

I really trust the rate that the hostels and hotels have in booking. However, this time, I'm surprised because this hostel shouldn't be rated higher that 7. The rooms without air-conditioning are so small and hot. They have a fan but it doesn't work properly as it is very small and with a slow speed. When I complained with the manager he just said that I booked a room with fan and it has a fan, so it was what I booked and they can't do anything. They don't care if the fan works properly or not. The space of the rooms are not appropriate for the number of people. From the room you can hear the traffic. The share toilets can be cleaned more often. The location is not so close to the bus station, you need to climb a hill to get there. It wasn't a good experience staying there. The beds are very narrow and the mattress to soft.

The restaurant and bar were great. The property was beautiful. There's a bus stop close by
The location was in a very busy traffic area. It's difficult to walk anywhere from here and a distance from the beach. The room was very basic and small. Clean but a bit worn. It was fine for a night but I would stay closer to the beach in the future.

location, restaurant & pool. trail system directly connected to hotel
no comfortable seating in room

Great to get a nice towel and hot water showers with shower gel included! Plenty of toilets and showers which was also great. Loved the fact there was a forest connected to the hostel that I could walk around. Great yoga deck and yoga mats I could use. Decent kitchen and nice restaurant too. Lovely clean pool with chairs all around it right next to the forest.
I didn't mind that we had to make our own beds. However, a couple of guests in the 16 bed dorm I was in didn't make their beds which was unhygienic. When I brought this up to the hotel and recommended they check guests made their beds, they said it was the guest's personal choice whether they wanted to make their bed or not. Also there weren't any comfy common sheltered areas to hang out except in the bedroom.

amazing staff and great location
laundry was unavailable unless you went early in the morning.

Pool, Service, Cleanliness
The room could use a small light for the nightstand.

Very nice and helpful people, helping us with tips, instructions, calling the cab. Nice location close to bus stations so both Quepos town and Espadilla beach are within 10/15-minutes ride. The pool area is nice and calm in the morning so good for working. The cleaning service was good and efficient. Also the property has a beautiful yoga patio surround by nature. Saw my first toucan here, so how can I not like it? :)
There is not enough places to hang stuff in the room nor in front of the room - sure you can leave them folded in the cabinet, but with the tropical climate and raining often (we stayed in Dec/Jan, not really the rainy season but you never know), we really had to improvise to hang our bikinis, towels, shorts, etc. every day to dry.

very comfortable beds, great pool area, great property (we saw a sloth with a baby!)
rooms are quite small, quite a walk to the main town area but I think most places are like that in Manuel Antonio

Amazing gardens, pool and communal kitchen
Rooms were quite small and on one night there was a big party but the music was excessively loud, which was a shame as the rest of the time the hostel was really nice to be at

Very clean, friendly staff, nice restaurant, inviting pool, easy to arrange tours and transport, nice people there.
Can't get a single stain on the white towels despite being in a rainforest, got fed sesame seeds after saying I was very allergic to them, and got lost in the forest alone due to poor signs.

very friendly staff, alot of small nice beautiful trails that leave the hotel
the yoga was nice and affordable too

Really friendly personell. They help you with a smile whenever you have a question.
The price for a private room with a shared bathroom was way too high. The restaurant was a bit disappointing. Overall you can find better places to stay for the same price.

The staff of the bar/restaurant was really friendly and offered amazing food. Overall the place was very hygienic.
The mattresses of the bed were a bit old I guess as they were far from comfy..

Love Teva! Exceptional yoga deck immersed in the jungle. You can hear the birds while practicing yoga. Amazing! But, what makes this place truly special is the staff - everyone is polite, extremely helpful and friendly. I appreciated that most of the staff has really great communication skills. I was on a solo trip and I felt their attention and care. Maroccan / Mediterranean-inspired cuisine is a yes! Can’t wait to get back to Teva!
The windows and the walls in the rooms should be cleaned with more attention.

Comfortable beds, clean, friendly staf, hiking trails for the hotel guests, yoga/gym house with great jungle view, good wifi
It was interesting to see in the middle of the night racoons entering the kitchen and eating stuff from the fridge - it was nice to see them, not nice we didnt have food for breakfast - might be good to have some lock for the fridge so that people dont get sick in case racoons leave some leftovers with their saliva
