About this house rental
The house was fully hollowed out in 2013, and was finally completely finished in October 2014.
It contains two bedrooms and one bathroom in the upper floor, as well as a living room with a bathroom, kitchen and dining area on the ground floor.
All bedrooms and the living room are fitted with flat screen TVs. In the living room, there is also a DVD player and a selection of DVDs.
The bedrooms on the upper level have separate entrances.
The house has central air-conditioning, which can be regulated separately for the upper or ground level.
Enjoy the view of the Banana River from your breakfast table, where dolphins pass by or schools of fish crowd around, often at a distance of just 10 metres. The single dock is a great fishing spot in one of Florida's premier angling regions.
Just 150 metres in the other direction, you will reach the extensive Cocoa Beach, which is ideal for long walks or surfing.
From here, it is just a hop, skip, and a jump to Orlando to the Disney theme park, about 45 minutes away.
Right in front of your door, there are further attractions such as, for example, the Ron Jon Surf Shop (the largest surf shop in the world), the cruise ship harbour at Cape Canaveral, the Kennedy Space Center and the Cocoa Beach Pier, to name a few.
Daytona Beach is also just an hour away, where America's largest biker gathering happens every year in March.

We were in town for a baseball tournament, and this was my first time visiting Cocoa Beach. Our family loves to fish, so the dock picture completely sold me on this place. I was a little worried because my wife wanted to stay on the beach, but based on other reviews, I knew it was a short walk. Once we arrived and walked out on the deck for the first time, I knew I made the right choice. This place was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was a nice kitchen area with multiple appliances. Having to go outside and up the stairs to the 2nd floor was no problem at all. Our family watched the 4th of July fireworks from the dock, which was awesome. We saw dolphins, manatees, sting rays, horseshoe crabs, and plenty of fish. We also caught quite a bit of fish, like mangrove snapper, puffer fish, sheep's head, and catfish. The beach is a short walk away, and this location was relatively quiet. My family loved it here and will come back. Stephan and Ulrike were excellent hosts and made the process very easy. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us.
Thanks,
Brandon

This location does NOT disappoint! The deck and river make this home VERY desirable! We loved it so much we stayed before the cruise and after. Stay here and you’ll fall in love like we did!

Loved the sunsets, fishing and sounds of nature. Beautiful spot!

This place was amazing. Felt like home. We had everything we needed-even laundry soap and dryer sheets. There were beach chairs in the closet and even a little cooler! There were towels for the beach and plenty of things to cook with. I'm sad I didn't notice the air fryer on the shelf until right before we left. There's a bench on the dock and we sat out there a lot watching for different aquatic animals. We thought we saw a manatee the first night but we're sure. The second night we saw stingrays and horseshoe crabs, then the dolphins started swimming by! Finally on the last night my daughter saw a manatee swim right under the dock. We watched for him to come by again but he didn't. I kind of wanted to kayak, but I was a little scared because I'm inexperienced, but if we can ever stay here again I aspire to give it a try.

Clean and beautiful property! One issue we had is that the downstairs isn’t connected to the upstairs, (you have to go outside), which we had read prior to going, but it was a little annoying during the rain storm. There were also no batteries in the thermostat, so there was no central air conditioning. The small air units above the doorways were not powerful enough to cool down the entire floor level, so it was quite warm when we were there. Another issue we had was that when we got there, the neighbor’s kids were out on the deck fishing. Not a big deal because they packed up and left when they noticed we arrived, however, they were back over again the next day when we wanted to sit out and enjoy the view. They had their own small deck to fish off of but they kept sneaking around the back fence to go out onto our deck. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay! We were only there for 2 whole days until we boarded our cruise.

Perfect getaway for relaxing post cruise. Close to excellent eateries and attractions. Best part was enjoying the outside patio and dock to be greeted by a manatee and dolphin. Beautiful sunset views.

We were in town for a baseball tournament and I wanted to make it extra fun! This was the absolute best for all of us! We enjoyed the outdoor space so much. The pictures truly do not do it justice. The water is beautiful and shallow enough to walk out 30+ yards from the dock to swim and explore. It had everything we needed! The only thing missing I would say would be floats and life jackets. So be prepared if you plan to kayak farther than around the dock. So clean, comfortable beds, and just overall amazing property! I am already trying to find a reason to come back!

This is an amazing location that you just can’t beat with the banana river on one side and the beach on the other. This location was clean and honest. At times it may be difficult to contact the host because they live in Germany, but we didn’t really experience anything of severe issue. Would stay again

The place is at a great location. Its not far from Nasa / Space Center and its also close to Patrick's Airforce Space Station. I recommend to viist a old school Diner called Sunrise Diner. If you are lukcy like i was you can see a Rocket Launch 🚀 from there.

Beautiful views from dock of the Banana River! Shortv walk to beach. Quiet area away from crowds. Most go outside to access bedrooms upstairs which was strange but everything was clean and well furnished. Would stay again!

My husband and I had a meeting in Cocoa Beach and needed a place to stay for 2 nights. We were hoping for quiet and something on the water and this was perfect! The house is very comfortable and the deck was amazing! The kitchen is fully stocked and included a few small appliances that could come in handy, but the most important was the drip coffee maker. We set it up to brew early this morning and grabbed a cup and took it to the beach to watch the sunrise. The quick walk to the beach tops off how perfect this little gem of a property is! Last night we walked over and watched the rocket take off as we listened to the waves! Paddle boards and kayaks are available for use and a multitude of chairs and lounges on the deck make for a great stay, you could play all day and never leave the property!
We were a little concerned about the stairs being outside to get to the bedrooms, but it really was no issue at all. The upstairs is set up as a Jack-and-Jill situation with the two bedrooms and the bathroom, which would be fine for parents and kids but might be a little awkward if there were two couples staying. All in all, we have absolutely no complaints other than we had to go home today! We will be back and will definitely stay longer next time. Thank you for allowing access to a great little place!

The stairs are outside. Strange but only a slight inconvenience. Pack a rain coat in case you need to go up or down during a rain storm.
The price, view, dock and location all make up for the stairs. Easy 5 stars!!

After a few days in an Orlando resort, we wanted a couple of days at the beach to decompress. This spot was perfect for our family of four with teens. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. The back deck is awesome and sunsets were beautiful. We caught a pufferfish and were surprised to hook some stingrays, saw a dolphin and even spotted a manta ray! Beach access is minutes away. We were disappointed we didn’t see the bioluminescence, but we’ll be back!

Absolutely had an amazing time , the place is the cutest beach house equipped with just about everything you need. It was a bit hard to find the keys at first but other than that truly great stay! We loved it!! Definitely a return spot wish it slept more than 4 we have 8 grand babies they would live it too. Thank you so much to the ownera for sharing their peace of paradise with us.

Love the property and love the location. This was our 2nd stay. Used the beach chairs daily for morning coffee and pastry on the beach. Kayaking from the beautiful dock, up and down the river several days is always a treat. Watching the fish, stingrays and dolphins near the dock never gets old. Owner continually does updates on his property. You won’t be disappointed.

Enjoyed the beautiful view, was a quiet neighborhood. House was clean. Lacked some basics like a hair dryer, and was low on soap, tissues, paper towels. Overall was east to check in and it was nice to have kayaks and paddleboards. Set up with second floor separate entrance was not ideal, but I was aware of this from prior reviews. House had a bit of a musty smell on first floor but we had rainy weather.

This little hidden gem was beautiful and all that we needed. The location was exactly what we wanted (close enough to downtown but far enough away for relaxation). The rental was very clean and had everything that you needed. The back deck had the most beautiful view that you don’t want to miss a sunset! We enjoyed our stay and already planning another trip next year!

Very clean and updated little house on the river. Great location on the river and just across the street from beach. Two restaurants and a gas station within walking distance. If privacy is an issue there is a rental Triplex next door that literally sides up to the property and only a small picket fence between. Otherwise, really enjoyed it!

The house and its location was just wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed the dock and being right on the river! We went paddle boarding and kayaking each morning and then walked across the street to the beach. We loved watching the sunset and dolphin play on the dock each evening. We would absolutely come back!

This hidden gem was the most serene, relaxing place I could have ever found! We paddle boarded, went to the beach, saw a dolphin swim up next to the pier at the house, played with the bioluminescent organisms in the Banana River right in our backyard! Watched the stingrays play. It was truly amazing!

Very clean, beds extremely comfortable! Layout a little different with bedrooms upstairs and you having to go outside to go to them. Loved the dock and seen numerous fish and dolphin.

The place was very nice. Especially liked the back deck on the river. The wildlife put on a great show in the evenings.
I would suggest some notes on how things work, like the tv and ac units. And the living room furniture.....not cozy or comfortable.
Those small issues aside, it is a nice place to stay.

Odd layout of a house, however a great stay!
The bedrooms were very clean & nice, one has an amazing view.
The kitchen was large enough to prepare a holiday meal. We would definitely stay there again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this vacation home along the Banana River in Cocoa Beach. The place was clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the river. There is a private dock and the beach is a short walk across Highway A1A. Restaurants, a grocery store, and Starbucks (very important!) are a 10 minute drive from the house. We highly recommend this property if you’re staying in Cocoa Beach.

The doc and the deck were amazing. Florida brought a spectacular sunset for us to enjoy.

The location of the property was great! Close to things we wanted to do and a brief walk across the street for beach access. Loved sitting on the deck and watching wildlife - our favorite was numerous dolphin sightings!! We were disappointed in the details of the listing - listed as a king and a queen bed, but only had 2 queen beds; don’t remember seeing it noted in the description that to access the upstairs bedrooms, you had to walk OUTSIDE and up exterior stairs… little awkward at night; the downstairs bathroom lights didn’t work but electrical outlets did. Other odd thing was check in process - the directions sent didn’t match up and when we arrived, the main entry door was unlocked and open. Considering we were arriving after dark, it made us a little leery, but luckily everything checked out okay. Overall, this was a good deal and provided the basic necessities.

Stayed over Thanksgiving break with the family and we had an amazing time. It was a perfect set up for a family of 4 and we loved being greeted by dolphins in the morning. Only down side is having to go outside to move between floors, otherwise it was an ideal place to stay. Will be renting again.

We took the last fight, arrived before hurricane Ian. Enjoyed the storm from upstairs, lots of fun. After storm, spent days on the deck fishing: caught yellow/mangrove snappers (small), catfish, Pufferfish, and a Ray. Walked the Beach across the road, fantastic beach and no one present! This property is lovely, well-stocked kitchen and very thoughtfully done. Outdoor stairs can be a challenge in winds/rain, otherwise no issues to speak of. Found fishing poles, but mostly stripped of reels... had one I could use. Overall, this is a fun, well-managed property and the dock is a real treat! One of our best and most memorable vacations! Loved it, will come again or recommend! Lots of great memories and views.

If you enjoy nature, dolphins, manatees, birds and fish you will love this house. First floor has a very nice kitchen and living area with comfortable couch and chair. Kitchen has all the things you need to cook. Dishwasher and microwave with coffee maker. Bathroom on first floor. The second floor has 2 roomy bedrooms and a bathroom between very nice. Outdoors is spectacular with a deck and dock. Sunsets are some of the best I have ever seen. Pretty good fishing but better fishing a 3 minute walk across the street at the beach. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy life!

This little gem of a house couldn't be better! We booked based on reviews and everyone was 100% spot on! First off it was clean. Apparently there was water inside the previous week from Hurricane Ian but you never would have known. The dock is amazing with breathtaking views! We had dolphins within 10 feet of the dock chasing their meals and also casually swimming by at all hours of the day. The sunset is unbelievable and the bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The wifi was out(probably due to the storm) but that didn't affect us one bit. The bedrooms being upstairs with a separate entrance would be the only gripe you could have about this place but it's far from an inconvenience when you factor in all the amazing features this place has! Owners were great with communication and the cleaning people stopped by also and were the nicest people! If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We are already trying to plan a return trip! This was the most relaxing, most amazing trip of my life and we didn't even leave the house much. Don't miss out on this place. It truly is a great find and I wouldn't have changed a single thing about our experience!

You're 800 feet from the beach to watch the sunrise and get the most gorgeous sunsets from your private dock.
Pros were the view, close to so much to see and do, house was stocked with kitchen essentials and extras for the beach.
Cons were you do have to walk outside to the bedrooms. The bedrooms are kitchen have separate entrances. We did find that the house was not cleaned between rentals and that was a mix up. Mistakes can happen and the owner generously refunded more than the cleaning fee. Even after that it was a great week.
Side note. The beds are both queen size and the couch is from Ikea. Not a fold out. Also, a small refrigerator upstairs may make a difference.
We plan on re renting another week.

It was the perfect home away from home kind of a staycation. The view of the waterside was beautiful ❤️

This place had everything you need to enjoy. The river and dolphins were amazing to watch. The beach a short walk away. The only odd thing was you go outside up stairs to go to the bedroom. Not connected to the living area. But we got use to it and all the other things were great.

This was a very nice place where you have access to both the lake and the ocean. The weather was gorgeous so even though you had to go outside to go upstairs to the bedrooms - it was fine. It was fully equipped with plenty of outdoor seating. We only live 45 min away but this was a very nice getaway for anyone.
