Stay in this character-filled, dog-friendly, one bedroom Otter Rock vacation home in the Alpine Chalets community, just south of Depoe Bay for a great vacation to the Oregon Coast! With classic beach retreat furnishings, an ocean view right from the living room and comforts like WiFi, cable, and a TV, your time by the shore will be both memorable and relaxing for up to six guests!

Right from the parking area, you'll find a path down to the sand on Beverly Beach. With the beach just a few steps away, you can go on early morning beach jogs with the dog, pack a picnic lunch to enjoy on the sand, or just watch a winter storm over the water from the living room windows. From here, day trips to nearby communities like Depoe Bay, Lincoln City, and Newport are just a short car ride away.

The open main area has a cozy living room, comfortable furniture, dining area, and a full kitchen. With everything but a dishwasher (just let those pots and pans soak while you work off dinner with a walk along the shore), you can whip up delicious vacation meals! And if you don't want to cook, pick up some chowder at Mo's West - it's just blocks away.

There's a snugly bedroom with a queen sized bed and up in the loft, another queen bed. This Otter Rock chalet will sleep up to four guests comfortably, with a maximum occupancy of six. Dogs are welcome, though a nightly fee per dog and a minimum fee per stay will apply. There is also a full bathroom, VCR, and outside, there's a shared firepit if you want to pick up some marshmallows and make some after-supper s'mores.

Ideal for a family getaway (kids will love sleeping up in the loft) or even couples traveling together, this Otter Rock getaway offers location, comfort, and a budget-friendly rate.

Come reserve a Central Oregon Coast getaway with a stay at this cute and beachy Otter Rock chalet. Perfect for year-round vacations, you can beachcomb in the sun or spend a blustery day watching the stormy sea right from the comfort of your cozy living room.

The ocean view is down a straight hill. Then a sharp 90 and down some more . Climb down a pallet to get to the ocean. Then up the steep hill to the Chalet to get back. Not for someone who has had knee, hip or back problems but nothing mentioned about that when booking. When I got there the house had dog hair everywhere. White hair was everywhere. The tv was not working after leaving a message for Rose and nobody getting back to me for 24 hrs. I called the emergency number and they sent someone over to fix it. Wasn't hooked up right and the remote batteries were dead. The next morning woke up to take a shower water was cold. Had to flip the breaker just to get hot water. Needless to say was glad to see the end of our stay at this one. We will see if I book through here again or not.

Lovely trail to beach, wonderful for dogs/dog owners and a delightful campfire area. The chalet could use some new furniture, upgrades and repair. The bed on the main floor is semi comfortable with a foam pad on top of mattress so unbreathable/sweaty sleeping. Would recommend if you’re ok with a more rustic stay.

What a great location, the beach is a fun little hike from the cabin. Really comfortable beds. Nice people everywhere.

The cabin was nice and clean and had been updated from what the pictures show so that was a nice surprise. There were a couple small issues, the blinds to the main window had been broken and the carpet on the stairs could be tacked down a little better. But all in all a nice place to stay Only 10 min drive to Newport. My family definitely enjoyed our stay and will be planning a trip back soon.

My 17-year-old daughter and myself stayed here for three nights for spring break. Although the cabin was dated and needed some work, the shower was new and very clean and the kitchen counters and refrigerator work clean. We took our dog and felt very comfortable with him there. There is a short walk to the beach which is on a lovely trail. If you walk towards the devil's punch bowl you can go up steps and visit a very delightful coffee House.

Cozy but had some issues
Cozy but had some issues
Great location, loved that the kitchen includes all the necessities. Problems: it took an hour to get the fridge to turn on, outlet on other side of kitchen needed reset. Shower wouldn’t drain. Very outdated and dirty- under couch was disgusting, spider webs all over and dusty, even simple things like a broken clock aren’t taken care of.
