A relaxing, tropical paradise

A gem of a place surrounded by beautiful gardens, offering us peace, relaxation & superb food all of a high quality. From the moment we arrived and were led into the tastefully decorated reception, dining area & offered a cooling coconut drink we found the attention to detail & service was exceptional especially from Prasanna who looked after us so well. Walking around the gardens, we admired the many fruit trees, their organic vegetable garden, and the lovely spa area was a haven of peace, where we enjoyed some Ayurvedic massages. The food choice was varied, excellent and always some delicious fruits for breakfast from their gardens like 'Soursap' It was a memorable visit. (Nearby just outside Weeraketiya was the ancient Mulgirigala Raja Maha Temple, well worth the climb to see the sunset)

Amazing stay with lovely people!

Wow! What a wonderful place! The rooms are splendid and the service is amazing! We had a great time here. Perfect service, friendly people and what a lovely surroundings! Don’t hesitate to come over. Great spot just between Merissa and Yala NP! Thanks for the great time we had!

Exceptional

The location, garden, interior design, furniture, rooms, amenities were superb. The food was exquisite. Needless to mention, the staff was super friendly and helpful. We stayed there for 1 night - full board. We had a warm welcome and the rooms were pretty clean, comfy and importantly spacious. Had a diverse menu for all three meals. but my personal favourite was a Sri Lankan sweet called "helapa" (warning it's highly addictive coz it's so delicious). They have a spa, and a small scale garden - must visit Highly recommend to stay at least for 1 night.

Stunning peaceful villa stay - absolutely beautiful place

Wow! What a beautiful, peaceful stay I have had here at Anodawa villa. Everything is just impeccable - the food (which mostly comes from their organic veggie garden) was delicious and honestly the best food I have tried here in Sri Lanka. The villa itself is stunning and the rooms are luxury, spacious and perfect to spend your days here. The staff are wonderful people who take their job and responsibility very seriously taking care of you and your needs with the upmost respect and care. It was really an honour to be around these lovely people. The sounds of nature and the Animals captivated me. If you’re looking for a slice of heaven mixed with a peaceful holiday whilst your every need is taken care of - come here. You won’t regret it.

Gorgeous hotel with space and super clean bedrooms & bathrooms!

Gorgeous villa with plenty of space everywhere from the common areas to rooms to gardens. Rooms and bathrooms were super clean and attended every day by house keeping. Again, super clean!! Photos won’t do justice to this villa. You have to go see for yourselves. Food was great and flexible. Staff and manager were very friendly and accommodating. Wished we came here earlier on my vacation so we could stayed longer.

Must stay charming property for relaxing and great time

Very beautiful, charming, very clean and so relaxing. Organic vegetable garden was so good we picked the vegetables and had them for lunch at traditional village house within the same garden. Spa and the surrounding area was so attractive and gives a peace of mind. Definitely a place to stay!! Highly recommended.

The villa is absolutely beautiful and we were made to feel right at home the moment we got there. Rawi is an incredible host and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay. The food is delicious and the cocktails are amazing. Everything on the menu is also very reasonable. Anodawa really is absolute luxury and we had an absolutely perfect stay. Thank you Rawi! You are a star!

Exceptional

This place is really exceptional, and I don't say this lightly. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend in the Villa, mainly because of the outstanding butler service of Ravindra. Everything started with the owner texting us few hours before arrival to ask whether we wanted some food for our toddler on arrival and wishing us a good trip- what a nice personal gesture! The Villa interiors are beautiful! Nothing is cheaply done, everything has been selected with taste and when you look carefully at the inscriptions in books, on statues and paintings, you realise fast that you are in the holiday hideaway of a special family. We were the only guests throughout the weekend and have been upgraded to a suite, which was very beautiful. The butler Ravindra was always 200 % there for us and especially for our 2-year old, who has so much energy that he is not always easy to handle. He played with him so that we could enjoy our meals in peace, while still giving great service to us. The rice and curry, by the way, was the best we have eaten during our month in Sri Lanka, and only costs 1250 rupees. Every wish seems to get fulfilled. An hour before leaving we said we were craving cashew curry, so we got it. Our son always got an extra kids-friendly meal, at no extra cost. I could go on an on, but will stop here. We have been to many, many hotels in Sri Lanka in the last years. For this price, this has definitely been the best so far, especially also because it is luxurious and at the same extremely kids-friendly. We will definitely come back next year. Thank you!
