Everything was superfine all personnel was super nice. They even made for us breakfast box since we had to leave early for flight. When we will visit Unawatuna we definitely will return to this hotel.

Nothing! Everything was great.

Beautiful oceanfront. Helpful staff, delicious dinner and breakfast.
It would be nice to have the lobby and dining with AC in the hot summer afternoon and evening.

There are too many things to list. The property itself is breathtaking, let alone the location! The beach out the front is clean and the waves are huge - we spent hours watching them. Not only that but the actual villa is stunning with infinity pool (great temperature) and towels provided, incredible views from the bedroom all the amenities you could want including robe, flip flops, comfy bed and even a beach bag and hats (I'm not sure if they were for decoration or borrowing!). The chef and menu was amazing too and they always set the table for us for breakfast, lunch and dinner, even if we weren't going to be there - food was amazing, especially the pancakes! Aside from this, the staff were lovely and welcoming, we arrived early and they accommodated our checkin early which was kind, and they linked us to a really nice Tuk Tuk driver who ended up being our guide! All in all, the best trip ever.
I cannot name a thing.

We booked the Suite (Eli Kunji) in the ground floor, but we changed to other room as it has more humidity feeling for us. The Management (George) was very helpful and he provide us with Monara room. The room is amazing, awesome views, great attention on the details, clean and very good and comfortable (bed, shower, wifi connection, plugs,…). Great hotel to go as a couple
The breakfast is not very clear what is included, as they charged extra coffee and eggs. It should be more clear the breakfast menu from the beginning what is included and what is extra, as how it is shown it’s not clear if there is extra charges on some items. However the management discounted this from the final bill, so we got a fair final bill.

Great service and friendly staff, who made us feel very welcome. The location was fantastic - right on the beach and also close to Unawatuna and Galle Fort. The room was huge and we enjoyed waking up to a beautiful sea view each morning. I would highly recommend Sielen Diva to anyone looking for some relaxation and beach time!

We recently stayed at Sielen Diva, and I cannot recommend this place anymore, if I could give it a higher review I would.
Firstly and most importantly, the hotel is stunning as it suggests from the photographs, but what sets this place apart is the staff, Hasantha and George especially made my stay here amazing as it was my partners birthday and they put on everything amazingly and effortlessly. They go above and beyond in every aspect of your stay you feel like royalty but it is also so effortless for them and always to make your stay as comfortable as it can be. The staff across the whole property are amazing and they all deserve a mention.
The hotel itself is on stunning grounds, immediately backing onto a stunning beach was lovely to take a stroll down. The rooms offer a view which could be put in a gallery. The pool is a great size and again gives great views. Room is cleaned daily. The massage service and other activities they offer are also top notch.
There are so many small gestures which don’t go unnoticed from popsicles when it’s really hot, to fresh aloe Vera when you’ve been in the sun a bit too much the previous day and it these things which show the staff across the hotel care.
Whilst I didn’t get the chefs name, he deserves a huge mention too as the food is honestly some of the best food I have ever had, especially the biryani which I highly recommend. From breakfast to dinner, you couldn’t fault a dish.
Having stayed in places across Europe, Asia, America, I can easily state you will not receive a better service anywhere, and if there is I am yet to find it.
The best way to finish this review is with a really big thank you as it’s deserved and i can’t wait to come back!

We loved the hotel, the location, the rooms, bathroom, everything! The staff were very kind and helpful, they made our stay even better than we imagined! A special thanks to Hasante for making our stay as comfortable as it can be. We are definitely coming back again :) highly recommended!

The hotel building and setting is fantastic, great location close to Unawatuna. The hotel is set back a long way from the road and it was very private and secluded with a very quite section of beach directly in front of the property. Our room was lovely, we were in the ground floor room. Originally we tried to book a first floor room for the view but none were available, however we actually think the ground floor room was better as you still had a stunning view, but it also benefited from its own section of terrace directly in front of the large glass doors with its own deck chairs.
Although the hotel building and setting is fantastic overall we were disappointed with our stay at Sielen Diva. Unfortunately our stay was let down by poor service and issues with our evening meal. I’m not sure if this was the normal level of service as we were told the manager was on holiday whilst we were there. We’ve stayed at some lovely hotels whilst in Sri Lanka and unfortunately from our experience Sielen Diva is not among the best.

Just want to say a big thank you to the team of Sielen Diva. They made our stay special.
From the beginning they took care of everything, starting from organizing transfer, massages, dinners etc.
I do recommend to eat in the hotel, because the chef is really amazing. He will consider all your requests and honestly you gonna feel like in a good restaurant.
Breakfasts are also nice: fresh fruits, pancakes, poached eggs with avocado on toast and fresh juices every day.
The property itself is just a piece of art. We walked on the beach and definitely it’s the best option which you can choose in this area.
The views are fantastic, pool, rooms, design. Everything makes you feel calm and relaxed.
Everything was perfect

Our week at Sielen Diva couldn’t have been better. It’s a gorgeous space with a chic, relaxed atmosphere. A sort of neo-modernist block over the open lounge area with the crashing ocean visible from everywhere including all the rooms with their full glass walls. The hotel is right on the beach so there’s nothing to impede the view. Because of the current situation in Sri Lanka we were the only guests and had the whole place to ourselves all week. Hasantha, Akalanka and the rest of the staff are all so charming and smart and genuine and took such great care of us rspecially with the pains they took over a birthday dinner and our last night dinner. And the food ruined all other Sri Lankan food for us it was so good. We never wanted to leave.
Can’t think of any negatives.

i have no words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was beautiful, located in a very quiet part of Unawatuna, right by the beach, with a lovely garden and sea views. The hotel has only a few rooms so it felt very peaceful and exclusive. Staff was super nice, always going the extra mile to make our stay even more special. The food was out of this world! I’ve been to many 5 star restaurants but that was, without a doubt, the best food I’ve ever had! Everything was so fresh and cooked to order. Thank you Sielen Diva team for everything!
There was nothing we didn’t like. Only 1 suggestion, it would be nice to have a mini fridge in the room to keep our drinks chilled.

Sielen Diva is paradise. From the moment you arrive you are taken care of, and greeted with a cool sea breeze from the amazing design of the villa. The rooms are immaculate with spectacular views and great beds, and even though the villa was relatively full you never felt on top of one another - the whole place is just a relaxing haven. It’s moments from a lovely stretch of beach - be sure to check out the rocky outcrop outside as there is so much wildlife to look at! The team at Sielen Diva are fantastic and looked after us so well - nothing was too much trouble and the whole experience was relaxed but attentive. The chefs were incredible and we had two delicious dinners at the villa. Couldn’t recommend more highly, we will be back.

Amazing beach villa with the most attentive and hospitable staff. The room was super spacious, many great thoughtful touches and the view you wake up to is breathtaking. The food we had and the private candlelit dinner they organised for us for my partner’s birthday was amazing. Can’t recommend enough.
Nothing - it was all great. If there is one thing we could suggest, is to make the space a bit more atmospheric with music / candles etc in the evening. The first night we were alone in the villa and felt a bit quiet and isolated. But it’s just a small suggestion rather than a negative point.

Beautiful view, wonderful breakfast, friendly staff and calm atmosphere. Try their passion mojito relaxing by the pool admiring the stunning view.
Their lunch was very small portions. Could be bigger and more to choose from.
The bed was not that big.

Our stay here was incredible - the pictures are accurate, or if anything don’t do it justice. The view from the rooms are unbeatable and having access to such a quiet, almost private beach area was lovely. The chef was also fantastic, the breakfast (especially the pancakes and granola) were some of the best we’ve ever had and the chicken curry was also a huge highlight. The staff were all so friendly and really couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect.
The only, really small thing, that’s missing is a mini fridge in the room so that we can keep our water cold.

The pool was lovely and mostly quiet when we were there, the room was very nice and quiet. Breakfast was good but perhaps could be improved a little. Staff were very friendly and kind.
You are a little outside of town but the TukTuks get you anywhere you need to be. You cant really swim on the beach just outside but just a little way along you can.

The location is just outside the busy area, which we liked. The hotel was beautiful and the staff are very nice. I enjoyed one of the best meals I have ever eaten with the Ceylon curry

This is a beautiful, serene property! I would definitely recommend it for a romantic getaway. We only stayed for one night but wished we would've stayed longer! The room and bathroom were spacious and had great facilities. The service was excellent. I hope to come back again to really enjoy the place!
One small downside was that it was often hard to find the property, so if your driver wasn't familiar with the hotel and was relying on Google maps, it took you a bit out of the way. Also, our shower didn't seem to stay hot for very long but since we were only there for one night, we didn't worry too much about it.

Beautiful property - third time here. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well designed and stylishly decorated. Pool and ocean views are beautiful too. Chef is very talented.
Bedrooms get very hot in the afternoon so it would be a good idea for the staff to turn on the AC before guests arrive. It took a full day to cool down the room. Villa was full this time. Service was definitely better when there were fewer guests.

We’ve had the most wonderful time. Everything about the hotel was amazing - the view, the swimming pool, the nearby beach, comfortable beds, but most of all the manager was really hospitable and helpful and the chief managed to make as an awesome meal 30 mins before out departure!

Nothing.

The Sielen Diva is an exceptional place to stay. I feel fortunate to find this place. They have a great chef in the kitchen; he prepared great dishes for us three times a day for four days. We have had great breakfasts, lunches and dinners. We let the chef choose the menu for us, which was a great decision.
The manager Hasantha, helped us with everything like transportation, PCR test at the hotel etc. The staff was so careful about social distancing and wearing masks.
You feel like a VIP guest in this hotel; exceptional sea view, great food, good service. I'll revisit here.

Because of the situation the hotels in Sri Lanka have strict restriction to accommodate guests.
This hotel is the best hotel we had seen for long time. The staff are respectful, friendly, helpful and they give all information about rules and behavior for corona pandemic in their country. The view from the infinity pool is really awesome. You have a great look at the Indian Ocean. If you need a rest - Sielen Diva is perfect. If you have any wish they do their best for make true.
The food, meals and drinks are wonderful, tasty and special expierence for your senses. The chef Yasotharan and chaminda care perfect for his guests. They makes individual meals for your own taste. If you had some allergies they asks you when you arrival. We had never eat such a good (Sri Lankian / Indian) meal. After every meal they ask if was everything okay and give some information about the meal.
For special questions and problems the manager Chindima is caring about individual and fast.
All staff from the team give their best to make you a wonderful expierence. The whole staff tries to create a loving and familiar atmosphere. Even if our stay was short, we experienced a feeling of security and familiarity.
They work according to the corona rules and pay attention to compliance.
Despite the rules due to the pandemic, nothing is missing. You can hear the waves of the sea, visit the private beach at any time, relax in the pool, walk through the garden of herbs, vegetables and fruits, use the play room or just relax and escape from everyday life.
At one evening the staff created for us a surprise with romantic light, music and a big dinner. We were happy and realy grateful about this wonderful evening.
The room is clean, with a high quality furniture and best view to the ocean.
It was pleasure to stay in holiday with this wonderful people at this beautiful place.

The Villa is great. The construction of the pool and the building bring a small breeze that is perfect for such a hot weather. The rooms are big and well decorated, the view is incredible
The only minor thing for me was the lack of the coffee machine, but the kitchen was always there to prepare a way better coffee
