Nice one bedroom, one bath unit with two patios and direct access to the sand and beach. The unit features a queen size bed in the bedroom and a queen size sleeper couch in the living room, washer, dryer, a Vermont Castings Intrepid wood burning stove, WiFi internet, a DVD/Blu Ray player, Apple TV, Samsung TV, Weber Charcoal BBQ Grill and a full kitchen. Excellent location on the southeast corner of Sandyland Road and Ash Avenue.

This condo is clean, well stocked, comfortable bed, great location, close (as in steps) to the beach, and the hosts are great and accessible, if needed. They left drinks, local chocolates, a thoughtful gift card and a nice handwritten note. This is a 4-plex condo and there was a condo above us, but we never heard the neighbors and when we saw them they were friendly. Great spot and nice trip. Thanks so much!!

This is a very nice rental, with comfortable furniture. It’s clean and has everything you need. It’s just steps from the beach. The outdoor sitting area is nicely landscaped with flowering plants. We were pleasantly surprised with bottled water and soda in the refrigerator. We’d highly recommend.

This little treasure of an apartment is in the best location in all of Carpenteria. I booked 2024 before I left for the 2023 vacation. This was my 3rd time at this apartment, if I couldn’t stay here I most likely would not be going. Everyone deserves the perfect vacation in the best location. 362 more days to go.

This is a GREAT location. Right on Sandyland Road and literally a few steps from the sand. Very quiet and private area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hosts were wonderful.

We loved staying at the this beach cottage. The location was perfect. Steps to the beach. You can hear the ocean from your cottage. Parking was great. Our only issue was that people lived upstairs and we had to make sure teenagers were quiet which is hard during springbreak!

The property is consistent with its description. Directions to the site, instructions for check-in and entry, and amenities present were exactly as described. The host provided extra touches like a variety of refrigerated beverages and a gift cert to a local coffee shop. This host also went out of his way to return a forgotten item to me -- above and beyond, and much appreciated.

I will continue to stay here as long as I am able too. Anything you need is right at your fingertips. The owner is attentive and always answers questions quickly. The condo is in the best location steps from the sand. I highly recommend this property.

This is a wonderful condo, very thoughtfully furnished. It's the best we've stayed in while in Carpinteria. Brad is most responsive to any concerns. We stayed for over a month and never encountered a problem. We hated to leave and hope to return..

We stayed for a week. One of the nicest, cleanest most comfortable places we have ever stayed. Location can’t be beat. Well equipped kitchen, I like to cook so that was important. Literally steps to the beach. Brad is the best, responded to my questions promptly. Will definitely stay in this cozy condo again.

I will rent this property every year if they let me. Steps from the sand. Very quiet at night and you can hear the waves crashing. We ate outside at the picnic table the nights we cooked. Everyone in the building was so nice and everything you need is in there. The owners or property managers were fantastic.

Have nothing negative to say. Brad is a great property owner. We live in a marina/Beach community, but being Carpinteria and staying, literally, a stone's throw from the sand is a whole northern world. Only negative, due to the pandemic situation, the town trolley normally starts their route directly in front of the unit. Not sure if that is mentioned in the website, but might be a good thing to do. It costs .50c unless handicapped or seniors, then .25c. Would love the opportunity to return. Dick P.

We had a wonderful time spending a week at this condo with our 10 month old daughter. Being steps from the beach was great with a baby who needed to go back frequently to nap! The patio was perfect for evenings outside!

We absolutely loved our stay here. We've stayed in Carpinteria several times, and this is now our favorite place to stay. Very close to the beach, 2 great outdoor areas to enjoy when not at the beach, quaint accommodations! Wonderful!!

This is the second time we have stayed at this unit. It is clean and 30 seconds from the beach. It can be noisy because families are passing by in the street during summer vacation going to the beach and cars are dropping off kids. But this is to be expected. We had no problem sleeping at night with the windows open. Light and airy unit with double dutch doors which allow for plenty of air circulation. All pots/pans/coffee maker--everything you need for a week stay is provided. There are lots of games in the drawers under the TV/DVD. We didn't use TV/DVD because we don't do TV/DVD while on vacation. Barbecue for making steaks and plenty of seating on front and back patios. Also there is one private parking space adjacent to unit and this is valuable during summer when there is no place to park. No one tried to park in our space when we left to sight-see even though there is no sign that says "Tow Away." Most of the time we walked everywhere including downtown and the train station if you want to go to Ventura or Santa Barbara. One warning: Dogs are allowed to run free on beach without leash even though signs prohibit dogs on beach. One dog ran up to me and stepped on my foot scratching it. Several dogs walked through our patio area while we were sitting outside enjoying the weather. In spite of this we had a marvelous time.

My wife and I enjoyed our 8 day stay. The amenities were perfect - close proximity to beach, restaurants and shopping (all within walking distance). We had friends and family stop by and the living area and patio space was large enough for entertaining about 6 guests. We definitely will be back!
