The property was perfect for us. Walking distance to everything. The condo contained all the necessities and even beach items like lots of chairs, boogie boards, and even a little wagon to tow it. If we come back to Carpinteria, we would definitely stay in this condo again!

We love the laidback small town beach vibe

We come to this lovely town and gather with extended family every year. We have stayed in many different places over the years and this condo was by far our favorite. Location, cleanliness, lovely host communication, you name it, it was superb

We couldn’t have asked for a better location for our week-long stay in Carpinteria. The condo is comfortable and welcoming. Perfect walking distance to the beach (barely a block) and to the shops and restaurants on Linden Street. Easy access to the 101 for adventures outside of Carpinteria as well. Emily is a wonderful host, even down to alerting us to an internet outage (brief) - an important detail when traveling with teenagers. We agreed we’ve found our spot and will definitely be back!

this property was a very short walk to a beautiful beach! And loved the downtown area for eating

Hubby and I loved it so much that we are already planning on returning every year! This was our most relaxing vacation ever. We loved that you could walk everywhere (we averaged about 20,000 steps a day).
Things to do:
Carpinteria Bluffs: make sure to see the seals (walking distance or short drive).
Carpinteria Salt Marsh Nature Preserve: be sure to find the creek and look for leopard sharks just below the surface of the water (walking distance).
Walk into town and eat. We loved Pizza Man Dans (awesome salad bar) and Teddy’s by the Sea.
Take the train into San Diego (train stop is walking distance).
And of course walk on the amazing beach, which was about a short block away.
One of my most important criteria for a vacation is the quietness of the place, as I am the world’s lightest sleeper. I give this place 8/10 (10 being impossibly quiet). We rarely heard the neighbors. There only appears to be about a dozen units, unlike the larger complexes nearby. The train runs nearby, but it is a passenger train track only and doesn’t run overnight. The only noise issue I had is that the bedroom is directly over the complex laundry room. Despite a very large sign stating that the laundry room hours are 9pm-9am, I did hear it being used outside of those hours on more than one occasion, but I was still able to sleep quite well.
Host was very helpful and responsive.
Only criticism: some touch ups needed (bathtub could use a new faucet), but 10/10 would stay again.

It was a pleasant stay. My daughter and befriend stayed a few days. We loved staying so close to the beach. Also easy access to explore other nearby beaches. I love this small low key town. I live in the S.F. Valley, and it’s always a pleasure to come even if it’s for the day.
Thank you!

Walking distance to everything in center of town. Well seasoned apartment, with most of what you need for a short stay. It does get warm inside, luckily nights were cool enough that we were comfortable when windows were opened.
Host is very responsive via email.

It was in a perfect location. Just one block from the beach and walkable to great restaurants. Minutes from Santa Barbara. Will need to bring your own shower soap. Would stay again.

Very nice property for a couple, a couple blocks from the beach and to town - shopping, restaurants, etc. Well kept in a small, quiet complex.

This property was clean and a short walk to the beach. The town was cute and had easy access to shops and restaurants.
The temps were in the low 70s during the stay, but the condo was very warm. We needed to keep the fans running to cool it down.

This was our 7th consecutive year in a condominium near Carpinteria Beach ... and I must say this was our favorite of the 5 different condominiums we've rented. This unit is just less than one block from the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and shops in Carpinteria. Because it is an "end unit" there was an extra window that provided air circulation as well as added space in the loft.

The location and the condo was absolutely wonderful and I will come again. It’s close to everything you need and the beach is the best anywhere. I will be back, thank you Emily

Emily was great, the property is a 4 minute walk to the beach with almost 4 year old twins. Easily walk to the Spot and other local places to eat. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We had family in Santa Barbara and Ventura to visit so this spot was perfectly in the middle. When we wanted to have a day on the beach, we could just walk one block and the condo had all the stuff we needed for a successful beach day (chairs, umbrella, beach toys, etc.)
This condo is also perfect walking distance to almost everything in Carpinteria! We walked to restaurants, grocery stores, everything. We definitely want to rent this place again!

This is a comfortable place in a beautiful location at a reasonable price comparatively. A little more care in updating would be appreciated, such as a pan that is not peeling (toxic) and at least a water filter pitcher for the kitchen… otherwise all was well .. thank you !

Carpinteria, over the years, has always been a relaxing respite, and this last time is no exception!
This place is comfortably furnished and well stocked with all of the kitchen supplies, linen supplies and all of the fun beach supplies one could ask for. And yes, during high tide in the wee hours of the morning, one can hear the waves lulling one with their rhythm.

Awesome location
This small condo is the perfect location location. The off street parking is key during the busy seasons. The owner was so helpful when we left behind some items by accident. Thank you!

A nice little place with a responsive owner and good kitchen facilities, close to the beach. Having beach chairs etc was good, However as someone noted, the place needed maintenance: when I pulled the chain for the ceiling fan, it fell off. the place is great for two people, might be a bit tight for 4.

Spent 3 nights here and enjoyed our stay. Two blocks from the beach, loved the king size bed and comfy living room furniture. Very quiet neighborhood.

We came for a weekend getaway during spring break. This was the perfect place for our family of 3! The beach is super close and so is the strip with all the cute little shops and restaurants. Bonus- there's a farmer's market on Thursdays that was going on when we got there. And my kid loved the stairs (since we don't have any) and kept going up and down and playing on them. The only downside was the tight parking spots. We would definitely stay here again!
