Come and make beautiful memories in the family friendly Ocean City, New Jersey (OCNJ), offering comfort and relaxation with the amenities of home. The private entrance to this home is on the right-hand side of the property. This is a non-smoking, 2nd floor duplex on the ocean side of West Avenue. This location is ideal; close to the beach & boardwalk (6 blocks), bay (3 blocks) and just behind Asbury Avenue where all the boutiques, cafes & general shopping is - no more paying for parking on the busy street of Asbury Avenue! We are 1/2 block from the weekly Farmer’s Market.

Our home offers an open floor plan with sleeping accommodations for 7. The great room boasts a beautiful vaulted ceiling offering plenty of natural light. The kitchen features granite counter tops and a center island with seating for two. The dining area has a custom banquette which provides additional seating. The beautiful kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, oven range, side by side fridge (with ice maker and purified water dispenser), dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, slow cooker, electric skillet, blender, hand mixer, immersion blender, all necessary service ware, cookware and cooking utensils.

The adjoining family room includes a 50-inch flat screen HDTV with Roku and is situated above a gas fireplace. The family room has a sofa, love seat and a comfortable swivel chair. The kitchen and family room open to the covered front deck; perfect to wake up to or unwind on from a fun-filled day at the beach.

The master bedroom features a king bed with a beautiful seagrass headboard, flat screen TV with Roku and an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. The second bedroom features a queen bed and a flat screen TV with Roku. The third bedroom offers a twin bunk with twin trundle. This unique bunk bed has stairs that go up to the top bunk for easy bed making and extra storage.

This property has central air conditioning and a full-size washer and dryer. Ceiling fans are in every bedroom and family room, giving you that breezy summer feel. An enclosed private outdoor shower allows for easy clean up after a day at the beach.

There is driveway parking and ample street parking (as available) in the front of the house (no meters). Next to the driveway, there is a convenient clothesline making it easy to hang your suits and towels for use the next day. It is a 10 minute walk to the boardwalk & beaches and is right next to the skate park. The wonderful shops and restaurants on Asbury Avenue begin just one short block away.

*We ask you supply your own linens specific to the bed sizes for each room; 1 king, 1 queen, 3 twin and also your own bath & beach towels.

Weekly and weekend rental rates are available throughout the year as indicated. Weekly rentals run from Saturday through Saturday. Check-in is at 2pm and check-out is at 10am. Comfortably furnished and very clean! Had a relaxing trip to the shore. House is in a quiet area but it’s still Easy to walk to Asbury Ave for shops and restaurants. A little bit of a walk to the beach but it’s pretty and you pass a great espresso shop on 4th street. Host was responsive and friendly. Would stay again!

The Ibis Nest is a very well kept and clean condo in a wonderful part of OC. My 3 younger kids had plenty of fun in their bunk room and great functional space to lounge around after the beach. Highly recommend staying here. Steve and Marie were great at quick responses and assisting with any questions we had leading up to and during our stay.

My husband and I stayed here for over 2 weeks and I have nothing but compliments for this lovely home! You can tell the owner wants you to be comfortable because they thought of every way to make your stay effortless. All of the furniture & beds are very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the downstairs garage amenities puts it over the top! Everything worked well, and even the keyless lock system made the stay so easy. We always have our bikes with us so the commute to the beach was just a few mins. It was nice to stay on the quieter side at night away from the crowds. Would def stay here again!

Good spot in a quieter part of town considering we were there during prime time summer. great parking, a bit far from beach and main boardwalk by foot- but we managed just fine with 2 toddlers with bikes, strollers, and beach cart that we brought. Our favorite parts about the house were hanging on the front balcony, utilizing the garage for our stuff and also a nice hangout space there as well.

We loved this property. Very nicely decorated, clean unit. It was in a very nice location and we enjoyed walking up to the shops and restaurants. Communication was great and we even met the downstairs neighbors who were super friendly. We would rent here again.

The home was very nice and as described. The host communicated with our issues but none were fully resolved (partly our fault because we felt bad mentioning problems over and over). Main concern was the internet/tv. Host reached out the day of our stay to warn us there was a power outage that day that may affect our initial hook up to the internet but it persisted throughout our entire stay. Other items that may not bother others but were a surprise to me- no extra blankets, sleeping arrangements for 7 but only 6 pillows, no bath mat getting out of shower (problem with little kids), no games/puzzles (again not a problem, but something we are used to in renting a house at the beach), washing machine was moldy (visible and smelled horrible), no salt or pepper and the tub had a leak (did inform the host) that made the tub fill with water during showers and drain VERY slowly (I am sure they will fix this). I love to walk but we ended up driving to the beach everyday because it felt very far! Please note the home was very nice and as listed so these are my concerns but not necessarily deal breakers for others. Parking was amazing- a plus for sure! Nice walk to the shops on Asbury. Cute set up in the garage and loved the extra fridge for food storage. Large porch was nice but furniture was bland.

I stayed with my mom and aunts at this property for the Fall Block Party weekend. The location was perfect as the block party starts at 5th and Asbury. There were restaurants within easy walking distance of the rental. The rental was exactly as pictured. Very clean and spacious. We had a great weekend together with plenty of room and the comforts of home.

Once again we had a wonderful weekend together in Ocean City. Having spent time at this property last year, we knew what to expect and had a "Honey, I'm home!!" moment when we walked in the door. I can highly recommend The Ibis Nest to anyone. The Beach and Boardwalk is a healthy walk away-we chose to use the car to save our energy for boardwalk strolling-not as young as we used to be...Overall, a perfect weekend which left us wanting more time by the sea. The owners were very responsive and helpful. It was so easy to check in and get settled! The home was clean and well furnished. The parking is so nice and allows more freedom to use your car with the confidence that you will have a spot at anytime. It’s a nice stroll to either the boardwalk or the bay. Highly recommended!

Loved the location. Good access to beach and downtown. Communication was pretty poor after check in. There was a number given within the rental but the owner was not responsive to texts, only to emails. Also, be prepared there are zero amenities. No beach tags, towels, linens, pillows, cleaning products, soap, etc. There are bikes and beach chairs in the rental that are locked and not available for use. No grill. We also noticed some of the glasses and dishes were clearly dirty. The condo was mostly clean and represented well through the photos on the listing. Based on price and lack of these items I would not recommend this rental to others.
