Clean and has what you need. Hot tub was enjoyable. Vacasa was responsive and made the process easy. Would recommend!

Location Location Location!!! This loft style, 2 story A-Frame, is set so far off the road that you feel like you are the only one of there. The close proximity to the Sandy River sounds so soothing!!! The Location of the hot tub is just perfect for a nightly dip and soak! There are so many towels, blankets, and pillows!!! If I was not so earth conscious, we could have used a new towel every time we needed one. Everything you need to cook is there!

It was nice! We used it as more of a basecamp to go to Timberline for the weekend, but we got to enjoy the hot tub. It's a very, very quiet area and at night it feels like there are no neighbors around. However...
Facing the house, to the right the neighbors are EXACTLY on the edge of the property and there isn't much yard space in-between the property lines. There is a house behind bordering the back yard as well, but there are a lot of trees in-between so it's not so bad. There is a large space of land to the left so no issues there.
It would feel a lot nicer with a tall fence bordering the property to the right that lines up against this one, especially in the back yard due to the hot tub. There are some areas of fence back there which helps, but it would feel more private with a longer, complete fence.
Second, people were not joking about the bed being firm. This has been a long-term complaint from the reviews, and truly I can sleep better on my backpacking sleeping pad on the literal ground than I did on this bed. A simple foam topper for less than $150 would make a big difference for comfort and a simple solution to what seems to be the top complaint.

This cabin is conveniently near three ski areas or more and the Sandy River(summer fun). Its a short drive from Greater Portland area and secluded but convenient to the highway. Cabin is well supplied including a hot tub.

The layout was great. The hot tub was clean and hot. The loft would be perfect for three kids and all their stuff. Plenty of extra blankets. We found almost everything we needed in the kitchen. Bring your own pillows and foam topper for the queen bed. It's the firmest bed ever and the pillows are extremely squishy and slippery.

Enjoyed the space with my wife and 4 kids. Great layout.

Despite the heat outdoors the cabin remained cool and comfortable. We used the fans at night to encourage the cool air in, and closed the windows in the morning. The cabin is well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Many beautiful hikes in the area. It’s a great place!

Nice house, nice layout, nice space for family of 4 to 6. But needs major attention to be a better rental.
The furniture sucks: the queen bed is hard as a board, pillows all flat and hard, couches sink way down/low (and we are not big people), futon frame broken/sagging. No futon sheets available. The furniture is basically from 1985 and exceeded its life span 20 years ago.
The outside of the property doesn't look like it's been tended to for about a year or 2. It is very overgrown, you cannot really even walk around the back "yard".

My girlfriend and I spent 4 days there the first week of April. We loved the home. First, we were amazed at how well the kitchen was stocked with most everything one would need for preparing a meal, since I cooked all of our meals for our time there, it was great. The home warmed up quickly with just the gas stove in the living room. We loved all of the windows, with the woods and fury little creatures (a sweet little bunny visited the front yard). It was very well stocked with nice towels and linens. The hot tub was great, perfect for relaxing in and very private. We also had a great fire in the fire pit out back, it was perfect. We had brought our own firewood. Even though we brought our own cards and games to play, the home had a huge selection mmm of games. We couldn't get Netflix to work on the tv, so was very thankful that we had brought lots of DVD's with us. Also, did not find a WiFi password posted in the home, that was a bummer. The one thing that was very upsetting was how hard and uncomfortable all of the beds were, they were the worst beds we have ever slept on, and that's saying something, as we are both in our 60's. The couches were so worn out that you sunk to their depths when you sat on them. Needless to say, the owners really need to replace the beds and couches if they want repeat customers.
The home was beautiful and clean, and we would love to stay there again, if the beds and couches get replaced.
Thank you Vacasa, for having it well prepared for our visit.

Barely anything worked
The thermostat, stove, and hot tub didn’t work properly. It took the hot tub two full days to even get above 70°. Really disappointed. Called the service line and they said they were sending someone to fix it and no one came. We had to run space heaters to keep the house a reasonable temperature and to make sure our baby’s room didn’t get freezing. Will not be staying there again or using Vacasa’s facilities.

Nice cabin for mt hood access
Overall nice, however unfortunately the hot tub was not working when we arrived. They had sent an email beforehand to let us know which was buried in spam folder so was a surprise. When I called the number they said they wouldn't be able to send anyone out to fix it, but then a maintenance person did actually show up to fix it that night. He had to drain it and unfortunately it took more than 48 hours for the water to actually heat up to a usable temperature because the power of the outlet is only 120V instead of 220V. Beds were also quite uncomfortable. The place is heated by the gas fireplace which has to be turned off when you leave so when we came back the place was quite chilly and took a few hours to warm back up to a good room temperature. They did provide space heaters though. Probably good place for the price, right off highway 26 and easy access to ski lodges, but not the most luxurious lodgings. Firepit in the back was nice.

Cute and Cozy
We really enjoyed out stay at Wildwood Cabin. The wood stove was a nice touch, and the board game collection was a great. And only a 20 minute drive to ski bowl!

Unique cabin in an interesting place.
This was our fist time in an A-Frame cabin and it was different. The kiddo loved the bunk bed in the loft. It took some tries to get the key box to open, but we finally got it. Although there are a lot of cabins in that area the thick forest makes it feel private. We went skiing at Skibowl and it was only 20 minutes away.

Cute cabin, but major cleaning issue..
When we arrived my husband went to use the bathroom which was filled with urine and it stank in there. It wouldn't flush, so he checked the tank and there was no water. Went to turn on the water and toilet water starting spraying all over the floor. I don't know how this was missed, but someone turned the water off. Either the cleaning person or the guest before - but you think they'd check the toilet was clean before the next guest.. Vacasa offered to send someone to fix it the following day, but as we were only there for 2 nights for our honeymoon, we just said screw it and ran upstairs to use the 2nd bathroom. Cute cabin, but major oversight. Careful with opening/closing the curtains as some of those tension curtain rods are just taped together...lol

Lovely getaway
Beautiful place, exactly as described. Not particularly private (there is another house VERY close next door), but the house was clean, the setting is beautiful, all of the appliances worked well, and the hot tub was a hit!

GAS STOVE DID NOT WORK
The gas stove in the living room did not work. The maintenance guy was great and told us the pilot light needed to be relit. He offered to come do it for us, but we decided to go with the space heaters. We actually got the pilot light to light but it would not stay on. Space heaters were not sufficient to heat the room. We will not return to that cabin.

Adorable cabin, rock hard bed
We had a fabulous time staying at this cute little cabin! When we got there the heat was not working, the hot tub was cold and the tv was not working. We called vacasa and within an hour someone was over to get it all fixed! We had a great time. Though the beds are extremely uncomfortable and the pillows are old and flat. I would suggest brining your own pillows. I slept on the couch and while that was pretty uncomfortable, it was a lot better than the beds. I hope the owners consider providing a little instructions on how to get the tv working and Netflix going, as it’s pretty confusing with 3 remotes. Even the staff member had a difficult time figuring it out at first. Overall we had a great time.

Great cabin!
The cabin was adorable and had everything we needed! We had 5 people and it was a great space for a small group. The kitchen pots and pans are a little dated and I recommend you bring sharp knives. Would definitely stay here again!

Place is just as pictured. Hot tub was amazing and clean. Perfect place to get away and affordable. We enjoyed the walk down to the river. Thank you!

So disappointing.
This house did not seem to be cleaned upon our arrival.. hot tub water was green, kitchen cabinet was broken, no laundry soap, no chemicals for the hot tub, garbage scattered about the backyard, and the downstairs remote didn’t even have batteries. I can see how this COULD be a five star stay if it was cleaned and managed properly, but unfortunately that was not our experience.

This was such a beautiful graduation gift for my son. With all that's going on in the world trying to get kids graduated was next to impossible but he fought through and this getaway was his reward! So thank you for such a priceless moment

Neglected and company unprofessional
Well, we arrived and the grounds are overgrown with weeds, we go inside and see that the dishwasher hasn't been unloaded and the dryer is full of towels. I go to shower and the bathtub fills up with water up to my ankles, so my husband uses the plunger to try to get it unclogged and pulls out wads of hair! Then the toilet starts backing up into the tub. By this time it's midnight, so I text the number in the cabin welcome book and after hearing nothing by 9am I go back through my texts and find another number and then a maintenance man calls a plumber who doesn't come until 7pm. We could not use the toilet, do laundry, take showers until he came and fixed it. Come to find out the number in the welcome book (that is on every page) is wrong!!! So the maintenance man scratches through the wrong numbers and writes in the right ones! We were not offered any compensation for all of this headache. I have NEVER left a bad review before but I really would not want anyone else to spend $200 a night for what we went through. Do not stay here.

Everything but the bed
Overall the place was lovely. Clean, cool and well stocked, we had everything we needed for a getaway. The firepit and grill were excellent, but the slight lack of privacy from the back was disconcerting.
Our only major complaint was the bed, which was absolutely horrible. I ended up sleeping on the pull-out upstairs and my partner used the couch. Ultimately we got a good nights rest but I cannot imagine just having the bed. Oddly the bunk bed mattresses felt very comfortable. If only I weren't two feet too tall for them...

Relaxing location close to lots of things!
This was a great getaway for my husband and I. We greatly enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The neighborhood is quiet and the location feels secluded without being too far away from restaurants and stores. We are definitely looking forward to staying again in the future!

Relaxing Vacation
Happy things:
First and foremost - the place was clean, which is most important to me. There were a ton of fans! I brought one from home, but apparently didn’t need to. Everywhere I looked, a fan was lurking. It was magic.
Hot tub was warm/ready to go when we got there, which again, was magic.
Fire pit was great - be sure to bring wood.
Internet worked well.
Loved that the binder had local eatery & outdoor recreation information/resources.
Not-so-happy things:
Patio chairs need to be replaced.
Grill was clean, but didn’t cook evenly.
The brush surrounding the fire pit should be cleared to increase usable space - it’s quite overgrown.
TV didn’t have many channels - or we couldn’t figure it out? I didn’t care, but the kids did.
Hot tub maximum temperature is too low, but that’s probably a liability thing.

Nice Location
So before I even stayed there, after I booked, I received a things to know about my stay. In that email it outlined visitor policy, quiet hours, neighbors, etc. What bothered me was that it told me I am not allowed to have visitors to the property that are not listed on the reservation without getting approval first. It also stated that the neighbors will call the police on you if you are too noisy and you will be assessed a separate fee due to this. This should be something that should have been on the post so people know exactly what is expected before booking, if these do not fit you needs. Like if you are a grandparent and you are in town visiting.
Customer service and maintenance need to better at prioritizing maintenance calls. The night I checked in, the heater for the main space was not working and there was only one small space heater. I understood it was too late for someone to come out that evening and I was assured they would be there to repair it the next morning around 10:30. I waited and around 2pm I called them back. I was assured they would be there. By 7pm that evening I once again called back and was told once again they would be there the next morning. Finally mid-morning they came to fix it, the pilot light was out. There should be more effort to make sure main items in the house are in working order before the guest arrives.
Other than those two things it was a nice place to stay, even with the neighbors being super close it was still private feeling. But the bed in the main bedroom is absolutely terrible. Pillows are also super flat.

We’d come back
This cabin was nice. Open floor plan, with vaulted ceiling, hot tub, fire pit (bring your own wood)
The only issue we had was the bed. Too hard for us.

It was a clean house. Nice hot tub and good enough for a weekend away with my husband. Pretty close neighbors and wretched beds. But overall it made for a nice little weekend get away

Loved the space
My family and I loved the space. Tall ceilings, open kitchen, and hot tub! It was perfect for us. The kids took the upstairs and had their own bathroom and tv, and we had our own space. We played lots of family games and they had everything you need (and more) for a some chill time in the woods :)

Cozy feel
Great weekend getaway from a busy work life. Great escape to unplugged and relax in the hot tub! For an intimate evening gather around the wood stove. Overall satisfied with the amenities the home provided. My only pet peeve was the gas grill was dirty when it came time to grill my ribs for dinner.

A not so relaxing weekend
Unfortunately we had to leave our vacation a day early due to absolute dissatisfaction and an inability to get any sleep on the most uncomfortable bed I have EVER experienced.
To begin, we were not prepared for the run down condition of the grounds. That was a bit shocking to say the least. But we were still excited to get inside and cozy in for this long awaited weekend of relaxing.
As we began unloading and putting groceries away we began to notice ants, big ones, all over the kitchen. Not a great start to our trip. When I went to use the downstairs bathroom, lo and behold the ants greeted me there as well.
The hot tub was the one saving grace. It was heated and clean. Awesome!
After dinner, we went to sit on the couch to watch a movie and the couches, ugh!!! So broken down that we practically rolled into one another. I don't need the Taj Mahal but come on...if you are going to rent out your home you should have functional and semi comfortable furnishings......and that bed in the master.....are you KIDDING ME!!! That is THE worst bed ever. Oh, I see I already mentioned that in my first paragraph. Well, that's because it was awful. Oh, and did I mention that there were ants in the bedroom too? Yep. We went to bed at 10:30 and tossed and turned until 1:15 am when we finally got up and tried the futon and bunk beds. No better. Needless to say due to lack of sleep and feeling sick because of it we felt forced to come home.
There was no answer at the phone number provided in the book. And the main customer service line had 118 calls in queue. How was I supposed to address my issues in a timely manner? So we just came home.
We put the cleaner in the hot tub. Washed our towels. Cleaned the kitchen. Washed our dishes.
You must think I'm a terrible person given all my complaints. It's mostly due to my lack of sleep. Yes, there were some nice attention to details. But I'm sorry, they were overshadowed by our grave disappointments with a lack of creature comforts.

Clean, cozy, and well equipped. Hot tub was hot upon arrival. Only difficulty was figuring out haw to operate the TV. Directions could be greatly improved.

Peaceful getaway in the snow
The cabin had a great location that was easy to get to but far enough away from the main road that we didn’t hear anything. My family had a great time watching and playing in the snow and working the puzzles provided. Everything we needed was provided. We would definitely come back again. I had read in the recent reviews that the dishwasher was broken and was a little surprised that it hadn’t been fixed yet. We didn’t use the hot tub but I did peak in and ... it could use a good cleaning.

You get what you pay for.
So i never heard back from anyone through the phone number you guys provides . On arrival the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes with a sign that said out of order. The hot tub was also dirty and didnt get above 98 degrees. Mold is also visible on the high ceilings. The promised waffle maker was also missing. Pretty disappointing stay.
