Cute cottage with beautiful surroundings. The bed was a little too soft for our taste and the bathroom / shower was very small. Overall very nice.

The best, coziest, most romantic hideaway…. All of the amenities were provided and our complaint is we wish our stay was longer.

Super clean, comfortable, easy meal preparation in the kichenette. Very quiet neighborhood. The hot tub is very nice after a day enjoying Point Reyes.

We very much enjoyed our stay! Laderloft was cozy, clean, private, and aesthetically pleasing. Both beds were cozy and comfortable and we slept well. Ladderloft provided an easy take off place for exploring, swimming and hiking. We were able to prepare all our meals and did not feel the need to go out which was great. We enjoyed the hot tub. The owner was helpful and responsive, and we enjoyed meeting him, We would be happy to return.

A magical little spot tucked into a beautiful garden. Exceptionally clean and cozy, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Far off main road and up just 2 doors from the old Manka's Lodge, Ladderloft has a very private entrance, yard and cottage. Well stocked and clean kitchen for cooking simple meals. Bonus having Peet's coffee provided by thoughtful host. We used the hot tub every night before bed, that was very nice.

We had a lovely stay in this sweet and secluded cottage and spent most of our time enjoying Pt Reyes National Seashore and Tomales Bay State Park.

We're retired and we love to visit the Pt. Reyes area. We stayed in this cottage before and greatly enjoyed it. It's just as presented in the listing: small, but reasonably outfitted. It was spotlessly clean and quiet, and we really like the location. The property was well-maintained, with lots of seasonal flowers and plants. We enjoyed the hot tub. We'll be back!

Lovely little spot but, seriously!, have to do something about the bugs! Anywhere in the place there are lines of tiny ants, tiny and less tiny spiders showing up in the suitcase, on the pillow. Get an exterminator. The draw for us was pet welcome, but the ants exclude being able to feed the pet in the unit. It is a beautiful garden setting, very zen.

The property is small--essentially a bedroom attached to a kitchenette/diner. There is a nice deck, though its value is lost in the winter when you need to be inside and there is nowhere comfortable to sit and read.
Unfortunately the place is also overrun by ants--and it was not because we left food out. We returned one day and found them all over the bed. We couldn't get the fireplace to work. The log supplied just smouldered and the room filled with smoke.
All in all, Ladderloft was expensive for a sub-par experience.

Clean, quiet, cozy, romantic, and dog friendly but if you didn't bring a dog you'd never know. The hot tub is right outside the door and heavenly. Perfect location for a Pt. Reyes/Tomales Bay getaway. Super accommodating host. We'll be back!

We are very familiar with the Pt. Reyes Station/Inverness area. This cottage was very nice, well equipped for its size, and very well located. Sparkling clean. Maria was very responsive. The hot tub was very pleasant. We would stay there again.

Even nicer than the photos!

Every aspect of our stay was first-rate: The cottage is private, tranquil, thoughtfully designed and furnished. It's elegant in an understated way -- cozy and welcoming. The bed is comfortable, the linens high quality. Everything we could need was provided. I love the woodsy setting and lush garden. There are two decks, a hot tub. I wish we could have stayed longer! Many thanks!

Lovely property. Great location. We stargazed (new moon) from the hot tub one night, and from a beach 20 minutes north the other. The hot tub was just as good! The fireplace was great.
My only issue is the price, which seems typical for the area, but cabins always have little issues, and the price can make those feel more disappointing than they would otherwise.
We sent the host a couple notes, but nothing that would keep us from coming back.

This cottage is perfect. Nestled in the woods, private and so quiet. The jacuzzi and fireplace made it for us. There were some issues with the housekeeping not leaving enough TP, towels, glasses, clean ice, clean quilt in the loft, but this did not deter our enjoyment of Ladderloft.

As the interior pics show, the cottage is pretty cute, with “Jaoanese” architectural influence, and comfy. The hot tub and the wrap around deck was perfect. The exterior pics don’t do the place justice as it’s tucked back on the edge of a canyon that is lush with forest and wildlife. Granted the view is somewhat obfuscated, the reward for the resulting privacy and being surrounded by foliage is a good trade off. Highly recommend.

The place was clean and comfortable and quiet. We didn’t download directions before leaving an area with good service so I highly recommend doing so! Phone service wasn’t great for us but that isn’t the fault of rental.

We love this place! This is about the 4th time we have stayed in this cottage. It is in a beautiful, quiet, convenient location, surrounded by greenery and has a great deck and hot tub. The cottage has everything you need, although there could be some wine glasses and sharper knives. The internet connection works pretty well, but at times can be spotty. On the whole, a wonderful stay.

hot tub and decks were private. Reading lamp on both sides of the bed! Dishes, steps, and hot tub were hard for me as I am only five feet tall, glad my husband was along.
We look forward to staying at Ladderloft again. Lovely neighborhood to walk in.

Perfect weekend getaway with our dogs. Great little cottage in a great neighborhood. We will definitely return.

My partner and I had a very nice mid-week stay in the cottage. We arrived after dark and did not have any trouble parking or getting in, but I was familiar with the area and that helped.
Kitchen: There were plenty of pots, pans and dishwear. If you are planning to eat in, you will need to bring oil, vinegar, and spices.
Wifi: Initially, the wifi was not working but it was restored once we let the host know.
Location: It is a very convenient location for hiking and the Tomales Bay beaches. We did not use the hot tub, but it looked inviting and is very private.

We loved the scenery….unfortunately the listing really was not accurate. First problem .. NO WIFI they stated there was but the connection was not worth the hassle. I was able to connect with a single device only part time. Second problem ANTS ….. it was like camping we had to make sure NOTHING was out including the garbage…if you don’t want WiFi this is your place but unfortunately my work requires me to be available.. I had to keep going into Pt. Reyes Station to answer dmails

Perfectly appointed with Art (blended Arts and Craft and Japanese pieces). Surrounded by beautiful flowering plants. Great hot tub and comfortable bed.
Kitchen appliances enable one to cook as if at home.
Peaceful experience.

Loved this place! It was a beautiful place to stay to be close to hikes at Point Reyes. There were thoughtful touches all around the property and house, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots, pans, and other essentials.

Comfortable, cozy cottage. The hot tub was great. The unit was close to many beaches and hikes.

This was our second stay at Ladderloft. We love this cozy Inverness cottage for its gorgeous and peaceful garden setting, tasteful furnishings, comfy bed, and idyllic (and very private) hot tub on the deck. It is also one of the more affordable Point Reyes lodgings for a couple. Our only difficulty was communicating with the owner/manager, but it turned out not to be a big deal.

The property description was very accurate and was very clean and tidy.
Some additional descriptives suggested :
Parking is on the street
Walkway is uneven and downhill which made moving luggage and other items in and out a bit difficult.

This is a tastefully decorated, well appointed cabin in a wooded garden setting. The bed is wonderful, and having a private hot tub just outside the front door is the ultimate luxury. When we travel we cook all our meals in, and this was easy and convenient at Ladderloft. We are older however, and we do not go up the ladder to the loft space. There is plenty of room for us on the main level.
If you have a dog, the fire roads belonging to the Inverness Public utilities district, which can be accessed from the end of Perth road, are through beautiful forest, and dogs are allowed off leash.

A delightful little cottage in a wooded area near hikes to the ocean. Fireplace and heater to keep it warm.

Host was very nice. Would have liked to have more information about the TV not having a signal or connected to a outgoing source. Also, unit needs a smoke detector and monoxide unit. With the fireplace active it could be concerning and potentially dangerous.

Maria's place was simply incredible. So quiet and peaceful, and perfect for a weekend getaway. We didn't want to leave! Everything was very easy: parking, check in , etc. And the hot tub was amazing! Highly highly recommend
