About this apartment rental
Luxury, gorgeous 100mq apartment, overlooking one of the main squares of Padua: Piazza delle Erbe, with its daily open market and the beautiful Palazzo della Ragione.
The apartment is a great solution for a family or a couple of friends, comfortable for visiting the most interesting places and monuments in the center of Padua on foot, going out for an aperitif in the square, or a dinner in the historic Osterie in the historic Jewish Ghetto.
The apartment consists of a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms.
• At the entrance, a few steps will take you to a splendid living room with exposed beams, charming ancient paintings on the walls, two comfortable sofas and an enviable view of Piazza delle Erbe.
• The kitchen (separate from the living room) is fully equipped with appliances and everything you need for cooking and eating (plenty of dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans), including dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine.
• The sleeping area is located at the back of the apartment, therefore very quiet. It consists of: a master bedroom with a double king-size bed and a large en suite personal bathroom with shower; a second bedroom with two separate single beds, a large wardrobe and a second attached bathroom, equipped with shower and washing machine.
• From both bedrooms there is access to a small private balcony overlooking the silent internal courtyard.
The apartment is located on the first floor with lift in a charming 18th-century building, in the very heart of Padova in via Delle Piazze 12, pedestrian area. The supermarket PAM is open all week, from morning to evening right in the Piazza, 2 minutes walk from the house.

Perfect Location
You can’t ask for a better location! The apartment is beautiful. Since cars without permits aren’t allowed to drive into city center without being fined, Sara gave us an address of a pay-per-night parking garage in city center that takes care of the fine. It’s about an easy 7-minute walk from garage through porticos to the beautiful apartment. Fantastico!

The Best of Padua at your doorstep
I have traveled throughout Italy for 14 trips and never had the opportunity to stay in such a fabulous apartment in the best location of a city. The view of Piazza Erbe and the Palazzo delle Ragione from the front terrace was spectacular. I would rent this charming apartment again when I go back to Italy. Sara was a lovely host and very available to us whenever we needed her. And the amenities of this spacious two bedroom, two bath were outstanding.

Perfect Padua apartment
This apartment is right in the centre of Padua, close to a famous Piazza. Everything we needed was supplied (except for a kettle) and there was a supermarket 50 metres from the apartment. Sara, who is very charming and helpful, speaks perfect English and was available by phone when we needed her. Norah, Western Australia.

Wonderful
Unbeatable location - could not be more central. Just go downstairs to the farmers market, buy the most wonderful produce and cook them. Very friendly owner, I will go back.

Lovely
Would stay again. Sara was patient with me when our arrival was miscommunicated. The square is lovely and not at all too noisy. Be sure to shop at the market. Apartment was impeccably clean and luxurious, very roomy.

Beautiful well kept apartment in the center of everything
We loved everything. The apartment, the location, the management. Very clean and attractive furnishings, nice little kitchen, wonderful view of Piazza delle Erbe.

Wonderful location and comfortable apartment. The view onto the square was a constant source of entertainment. It was very nice to see the college age students and the families with young children. The produce booths were amazing. Easy to get around by tram and foot.
The apartment was clean and comfortable. We did have a minor plumbing issue but that was offset by such a great and comfortable rental.

Amazed by Padua
When Rome, Florence, and Venice lose their charm because of the hordes of tourists waving selfie sticks- try Padua. We found this apartment to be 1.) Ideally located to see the rich variety sites, 2.) Surrounded by great local restaurants serving local cuisine, 3.) Across the street from a marketplace to rival any in Italy. Our large and elegant apartment with a view of the market and the Piazza Erbe was comfortable and well equipped. And the charming owner, Isabella, greeted us with a large basket of fresh fruit and later a traditional Italian Easter Torte. We took day trips to Venice, Vicenza, and Verona. We drove to Lake Garda and enjoyed Italy's largest lake. It was a magical two weeks.

Special Occasion, Special Apartment
We have been to Padua on three occasions, it's one of our favourite places, always different with lots to see and a great base
This time it was to celebrate my partners 50th birthday, so I needed somewhere to stay that would not be forgotten, aspecially as our visit was only three nights and wow, Ca Bimba is that place
From entering the apartment, with the vision of the steps once the door is opened is truly fantastic
Great space, tastefully decorated to suit the property style and wonderful views from the balcony of Piazza dell' Erbe, especially at night, lit up
We all, (our special friend also came), felt so relaxed, without pressures, being able to come and go when you wanted, use of a full size kitchen, great lounge, bedrooms and bathrooms, all so comfortable
The WiFi connection is also really good, however never used much, as fully occupied elsewhere
It's hard to put into words our true thoughts but only to say this is our location and will be visiting again next year, only for longer......
Many thanks to the owners, I & M, very polite and helpful

Perfect Padova
This was our 3rd stay in Ca Bimba. We may be addicted to this lively, small city and this perfectly situated apartment. The owners are most friendly and accommodating and have added a fast and dedicated Wi-Fi line for their guests at no additional charge.
The apartment, sits above the energizing and historic Piazza dell'Erbe in the heart of the city's pedestrian zone, is fastidiously clean and very hospitable. Many restaurants and wine bars are within a few minutes of easy, level walking in a very charming and inviting romantic part of this special city. An elevator in the small building means just 6-7 steps into the living room of the apartment itself.
The apartment is located in the historic center of Padova and many of Italy's finest prepared foods and traditional salumi products are within a 5 minute walk from the apartment. For those that enjoy seafood, the variety and freshness are the market standard and many dishes can be brought home with a nice wine for an incredible home meal-just open the doors to the two balconies and serve with a beautiful view of the piazza.

Wonderful, gracious apartment in charming Padova
Location. Location! A gracious, very comfortable apartment in a lively, friendly university city offers all the best charms of Italy: instant access to the delights of 3 beautiful and historic piazze, pedestrian zones, the rich tradition of fresh food & regional specialties, and community. It is exactly as the owners describe, and exceptionally quiet, especially given its balcony fronting the fabulous Piazza del' Erbe. Padova, a non-touristy city on all the major train routes, is an ideal location to explore the Veneto, with Venice just 25 minutes by train and the gorgeous Dolomites just 2 hours by car.

A Perfect location - A Perfect Flat
We were fortunate enough, along with another couple, to take an Italian vacation in September 2013. Our destination was Padova as it seemed unique and was a short distance by train from other interesting northern cities such as Venice, Cittadella, Verona and Florence. The weather was perfect; the city was a good choice – the vacation was memorable.
Probably the most important contributor to the success of this vacation was our fortunate choice to rent a 2 bedroom flat in Padova from Isabella and Francesco which they have named Cà Bimba. The apartment is central to the old city. One only had to walk across the street to experience centuries old structures and artifacts. The proximity to restaurants, cafes, wine bars only added to the enjoyment of being central to Italian, European and world history.
All this being said probably what was most important to enjoying this location was Isabella and Francesco. I cannot begin to express how inviting and helpful they were to making sure we understood the neighbourhood and the apartment. Isabella spent significant time helping us to understand where to locate everything required to make for a good vacation including restaurants, transportation, grocery stores and historical sites.
Our hosts left us with the impression that enjoying our vacation was more important to them than we were simply a customer to rent Cà Bimba. Francesco even gave up his morning to drive us to Venice to catch our return flight to Toronto.
We highly recommend Padova as a destination site when vacationing in northern Italy. But even more so we recommend Isabella and Francesco and their apartment known as Cà Bimba.

A lovely Apartment in a great location with a few small issues
We are a family group, 2 adults and 2 teenage girls. We stayed in the apartment for a week in August 2013. The location of the apartment couldn't be better, right on one of the main squares and close to restaurants and public transport connections. The apartment was clean, quiet and well kitted out.
It is a great location from which to visit Venice as the train takes only 30 minutes and they are very cheap - just a few euros.
Francesco met us from the airport on arrival and brought us back to the apartment where Isabella was waiting to welcome us. She speaks good English (we speak no Italian) and she spent some time explaining the apartment and the things to see in the area.
Generally we were very happy with our visit but there are a couple of things we felt we needed to mention in the review
Air Conditioning:
The cost of air conditioning is not included in the apartment and so we were told we would be charged at the end of the holiday for the water and electricity used by the air conditioning units (there are 4 in total, 2 in the lounge and one in each bedroom). Isabella said this would just be a small charge and she recorded the meter readings (which we didn't check). We used the air conditioning only at night in the two bedrooms for 6 nights as we spent one in Venice. We didn't use it in the lounge as the area was too big for the units to make an impression. On leaving Isabella asked us for 150 Euros for the weeks air conditioning. When we protested this was reduced to 100 Euros. I can only think there was a calculation error but just be aware that there may be considerable extra cost.
Wifi
The wifi listed in the advert does not belong to the apartment it is from the town hall across the square and so only works by the windows onto the square - and better with the windows open. The signal strength is not good and so it can't be used for skype or streaming and you have to be patient when pages are loading!
DVD player
There is one in the listing above but not in the apartment - not a problem for us but worth noting.

Perfect Place in Podova
We stayed in this apartment for a week in September. The location was absolutely perfect. We could enjoy the fresh foods, fruits and vegetables as well as the breads and wines by simply walking out of the apartment. The apartment was not only in the perfect location, but it was clean and decorated with the perfect antiques and had all of the supplies right at your finger tips! The owners were very friendly and met us upon arrival and upon departure. On arrival Isabelle (one of the owners) met us at the apartment and spent at least an hour showing us the apartment and giving us ideas on where to go in Padova, as well as information on maps and the train system. When we visit the area again, we will surely stay here again!
