About this house rental
BEST DEAL ON THE NORTH SHORE. THIS IS NOT A CONDO. IT IS A HOME IN A QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD. I AM FLEXIBLE WITH CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES WHEN I DON'T HAVE BACK TO BACK BOOKINGS.
Contact me myhawaiirentals on gmail for possible availability. Calendar may have additional openings.
Located on quiet beachfront street on Crozier Drive. There is a beautiful view from every room. Colorful plants and coral trees in the half-acre landscaped yard bring an essence of paradise to this home.
A private outdoor shower with surf theme was added in 2021. Decorated with a surfboard, surf fins for towel hooks, and privacy fence.
The bedroom and living room have separate split-system air conditioning units to keep you cool year round. Or open the windows for tradewinds and the sound of the waves and birds chirping. The house is a two story house and we live in the the upstairs and part of the downstairs. Graceland is located downstairs. The bedroom in Graceland has a vaulted ceiling with no second floor above it. Graceland's patio and yard is separated from my yard by a landscaped island.
The ocean is less than 100 feet away. The access to a sandy neighborhood beach is only nine houses down the street. Less than 1 mile from Polo Fields and Sky Diving at Dillingham Airfield.
The kitchen cabinets are newer. The laminated wood floors, wooden blinds, bathroom tile and paint is almost new. The bedroom is furnished with a very comfortable California King bed with high thread count linens. The bathroom has a combination tub/shower and linen closet. Tropical furnishings make you feel like you are living in an island retreat. Guests park in their own private carport attached to the rental. The sky is fantastic at night because we have minimal street lights to interfere with the brilliance of the stars and planets. The owner lives on site so no parties please!
Please email me with your dates (myhawaii rentals using g mail) so I can access my calendar for information! I do not request a security deposit because my guests have always been respectful. Please treat my house like your own. I am a licensed Realtor in Hawaii and this is my own property.

This place is convenient and ideally placed for the north shore. It's in a very quiet place, close to the beach where you can snorkel with turtles.

The suite was comfortable in many ways and the location was perfect - just far enough off the beaten path to feel like we were living the local Hawaiian life. The beach is only a 5 min stroll down the quiet street and it felt like it was our own, despite the fact that we were there during the busy season. The host was gracious and quick to respond to any requests or questions (not that we had many, as everything was laid out for us beforehand.) would definitely recommend! And you’re super close to Haleiwa village and the extensive network of north shore beaches and hikes and the botanic gardens of the Waimea valley with its cultural centre that hosts the awesome Toa Luau!

My husband and I spent 6 days, 5 nights honeymooning at this beautiful west Oahu beach home, and it turned out to be our favorite and BEST accommodations of our 15 days in Hawaii. We were in Maui the first half of the trip in very nice places but this home outranked the others on the bed comfort alone -- we were so grateful for the super comfy night's sleep!
Everything Gina shared in the link was completely accurate -- the pics do not do this place justice! It's awesome! The features we appreciated most were the comfy king-sized bed and the wonnnnderful water pressure in the hot shower. A great shower and a good night's sleep are so important when you are traveling and this place was the best sleep and showers we had the whole trip! Lifesaver!
And have I mentioned that the nearby beach was one of the most beautiful we visited?!? It is a public beach but feels private -- we never saw more than 5-10 people on the beach at any given time. It was WONDERFUL! The clear blue waters were calm enough that I could swim in them while my husband enjoyed some snorkeling on the reefs that were just offshore (like immediately offshore). Perfect! We even saw a friendly turtle peek his head out of the water a few times just a few yards off the shoreline from us, and the sunsets there can't be beat!
If you need beach access immediately out your back door, this is not the home for you, but you would be foolish to pass on this awesome rental home if that is the only thing holding you back. The beach access is a very, VERY short drive down the road and is completely walkable as well. We always drove because we didn't feel like carrying all of the beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, etc. down the street, but you absolutely could walk there with no problem. It is so convenient, and if you do drive, parking is super accessible right by the beach entrance. I actually wish I could attach photos because you would see that it is a spectacular beach and so private. Really beautiful.
Gina is lucky to call this paradise her home, and we will be back to "Graceland" for sure in the future!

This property was a gem. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood far enough away from make roads and north shore touristy areas, but close enough to drive to in a few minutes. The house was stocked with amenities including beach gear and we always love having a washer and dryer so we can rewear clothes and pack light. Used the propane grill to cook one night. Outdoor shower was a plus. No complaints, we loved our stay here! The owner was in close contact and available for anything we needed but we didn't have to reach out.

Easy Access to North Shore
A quiet base to explore North Shore. Close to Haleiwa town, and you can hear the rhythm of ocean waves at night with the windows open. There’s even an outdoor shower, that was newly installed. The owner and property manager is quite responsive.

Beautiful, peaceful stay
We loved our stay at Gina's, in a peaceful residential north shore neighbourhood. Beach across the street (path short walk away) was lovely and private. We loved barbecuing and eating in our peaceful backyard with the chickens, cat and dogs. It was exactly the north shore retreat we wanted. Highly recommend.

We’ll be back to Graceland!
Gina (owner) and Tina (housekeeper) were both lovely and took great care of us. The guest house was clean, in a beautiful private setting, and a very short walk to the beach. We’ll be back... hopefully soon!

Perfect location
Perfect for the 2 of us. Very comfortable and the location was perfect as other family members were staying a 1/2 mile down the street.

Quite Relaxing
Nice quiet neighborhood. Short walk to the beach. We blew the kitchen outlet breaker when using the coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and hot plate at the same time. Totally our fault but Gina handled it right away and called us while we were out to let us know it was taken care of. We definitely will stay here again when we come back.

You can hear the ocean from inside this property
Aloha! We just finished 5 wonderful days at this property in Waialua. The location is great, because it is just enough out of the way of North Shore busyness, to be quiet. We had the beach to ourselves on more than one occasion. In September, the ocean was calm enough to snorkel in -- althought the current is pretty strong. I swam for quite some time with a sea turtle and saw loads of beautiful fish. You can walk to the public beach access trail -- or drive if you have equipment to carry -- there was plenty of free parking spaces directly across from the trail entrance. And when I say trail, its actually, basically a short walk between 2 properties and you are there at the beach! The property itself is very good size. You enter at the bedroom (comfy bed) and then the bathroom, then the kitchenette, dining and living area. There are many things available to you like chip clips, bowls, a styrofoam cooler and so much more. The backyard is beautiful and I enjoyed sitting outside and visiting with a mama chicken and her babies. Gina met us at our front door when we arrived and showed us how to work the 2 air conditioners. We didn't see her again, so the whole experience felt very private -- but it was comforting to know she was right there on property in case we had any issues. Overall, we highly recommend this property and enjoyed a very relaxing stay after a very active week in Kauai. Now? It's back to life, back to reality - what a drag! haha :-) Thank you Gina!

Great place
This is our favorite place to rent in the northshore. It has everything list and more. It is spacious and ocean can be heard with the windows open. Would stay here again for sure.

Serene location 5 minutes from a great beach!
Gina's home is across the street from a pristine North Shore beach. The one bedroom apartment is comfortable and clean with everything you need to enjoy a beach vacation on Oahu (chairs, towels, laundry facilities). You'll feel like you're living in paradise!

Great home by the beach
The best part of the house was it's proximity to the ocean. We also used and enjoyed many of the provided amenities - towels, dishes, umbrellas, beach chairs, list of places to visit. It's a not fancy, but it's totally comfortable!

Private, Relaxing and Comfortable
Even though our stay was only 3 nights, we really enjoyed our time at Gina’s. The bed was very comfortable and the two air conditioners were very needed and appreciated while we were there. The place was clean, well supplied and decorated. The beach is nearby and lovely. The location was private (we had our own entrance and car port) and perfect for North Shore sightseeing. Gina greeted us and made sure we had everything. She was very helpful recommending places to eat and shop. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing piece of paradise!
We (my two sons and me) loved this little house. It was out of town about 10 minutes and you really felt like you were in the country and part of the community. The place was perfectly equipped with the kitchen and cooking abilities were unlimited. We even borrowed a backpack cooler to bring food and drinks to the beaches. Gina was so lovely and told us of the local spots. We will come back and recommend to our friends living in Kailua. Wonderful place for sure!

Great, easy place to stay!
We loved our time spent on the North Shore. The unit is great; has everything you could need with an easy, 5 minute walk to the beach! We loved spending the mornings on the patio reading + watching the skydivers from the nearby airfield.

Great place, would come again
Lovely quiet area and only short drive to large shopping area, short walk to beach and carport great as parking in other areas of north shore difficult. Very comfy king bed - spacious rooms with everything you could need included. Nice, friendly hosts - would definitely stay again!

Gina is really nice and a very genuine person. She's very approachable and will help you with tips on what to do on the island. I happened to land on Christmas day and she even invited me to little party that she was having, It was lovely!
This property is beautiful, well maintained and in a beautiful town. Its really close to the best beaches in Waialua, the beach is protected by the reef which makes snorkeling possible and has decent amount of fishes. But the highlight are the turtles, you get to swim with them almost every day :).
Thanks Gina... I 'll definitely come back to this house when I visit Oahu again

Our Host was away from the Island during our stay, but was very helpful in getting things squared away anyway. The house is great- My favorite part was sitting in the back yard watching the birds and the mountains views, and the chameleons. It was just the peaceful kind of place I was looking for. Haleiwa is only 15 minutes away, but it feels like another world. There is a beach you can walk to down the lane, and it's not a long drive to the popular beaches on the North Shore. The house was comfortable and adequately equipped. The listing was very accurate and the photos represented things well.

Hawaii has been a dream destination all my life and Oahu didn’t disappoint – it was exactly as we’d imagined, perfect - unspoiled and charming. Coming from England we did expect beachside rental prices for a week to be high and having spent some time on different holiday rental websites decided that rather than stay in a boring duplex or unit on a purpose-built resort, it would be more interesting to stay in Gina’s accommodation than staying somewhere where we wouldn’t get the chance to chat with locals.
On stepping through the front door and looking round the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/living space, we were impressed at the layout and soon settled in. We were disappointed though at the apparent lack of care in the general cleaning. Yes, the bath tub sparkled – as did everything on show, but the bedding and pillows under the linens were really grubby and stained, and we thought that the place needed a really good clean. I actually had to wash the pillows after the first night as we couldn’t stand the smell. I know there is a warning on the website that the owner stores her items in the wardrobe and around the place, but there was so much junk in drawers and cupboards that one was left with the impression that they’d just abandoned their stuff to make space room for paying guests. I lost a shoe under the tired sofa in the lounge and when reaching underneath to retrieve it saw the dirt and mess underneath where it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. The “day bed” in that room needed stripping completely and the covers and pillows washed – I could not have slept on it.
We could hear someone (the owner’s family?) walking up and down overhead and we could hear a dog barking occasionally and people talking and moving about through the adjoining wall to their home, but unbelievably no-one bothered to walk round to say “hello” during the whole week. We decided they couldn’t be bothered with us – this annex to their home is just a money making venture with as little input as they can get away with and we felt a little bit ripped off. It would have been so nice to have someone come round for a few minutes just to introduce themselves and to check everything was alright and possibly chat as we had a few questions about the island. The cats did come and visit!
Despite all this we did enjoy our stay here and visited most parts of the island in the week we were here.
