The property was well laid out and everything we needed provided, soaps, towels, washing up liquid tea towels etc., also a selection of tea and coffee and capsules for the coffee machine on site. There is a Co-op within walking distance also where we got a selection of freshly baked croissants. The parking permits were excellent.
We had a toddler with us and the extremely steep staircase was a worry, especially in the night so we had to take a pushchair upstairs to block the corridor. We did request a safety gate as we read that one had been quickly provided in a previous review, however we didn't receive a reply back. I tried ringing the number but no reply, however we got a call back and thinking it was a missed call call back we requested a safety gate, however it was apparently customer services ringing another house but got ours by mistake. He said he would ring back and deal with my request but we heard nothing. Parking is premium in Portsmouth, there is a car parking spot outside the property which was confirmed by a neighbour. Up until that point we had avoided the space as there was a garage there which requested 'no parking' in front of. But then we found out the garage belonged to the Cottage. Perhaps this could have been pointed out in the house info., even though it is obviously known by the locals as a 'place to park' so not a guaranteed space. However we always managed to park close to the house.

Very clean. Complimentary coffee and milk was a very nice touch. Comfy beds. Very informative manual. Guest parking was really good too.

The property was perfect for our stay, room sizes and storage great for a short stay, with two bathrooms. The kitchen and dining area is absolutely gorgeous and a great social space to spend time with family. Walking distance to the beach. No need to worry about parking.
if our stay was longer, a wardrobe in the master room would be better and perhaps a TV in the bedroom too.

Didn't like having to park 3 streets away from our accommodation. Also having to fill in parking permits each day for 1 hour morning and 1 hr evening.

Very clean and well equipped with complimentary tea and coffee and milk sachet in the fridge. Dishwasher, washing machine (didn’t need to use) and big fridge/freezer. Spacious accommodation. It had an upstairs and downstairs bathroom. Good, well stocked co-op within easy walking distance (5 mins). Good location for both Portsmouth and Southsea. Small outside seating area a bonus. Quiet location so we all had a good night sleep even in the hot weather and windows open. Good and timely communications from the host at all times. No long hanging in 3rd bedroom but built in wardrobe in second and hanging rail in master bedroom. Full length mirror in 2 rooms. Had a welcoming and homely feel and tasteful minimalistic, modern decor.
loved the property and would come back. Just some considerations for anyone with mobility issues. The stairs are very steep, however we went with an 83 and 93 year old who managed ok and the second downstairs bathroom a blessing. Always managed to find a parking space but could be a couple of streets away and good parallel parking skills. This is not unusual for Portsmouth so don’t let that put you off as it will be the same with many other properties. Plenty of parking permits so it is free. Step from dining area down into kitchen area which may be an issue for those with small toddlers.

Manager came promptly and resolved concerns of stair gate (we had a baby) by installing two new gates for us within half an hour of inquiry.

Spotlessly clean, well furnished with lovely bed linens and comfortable beds. Spacious and well equipped. Lovely bathrooms, one on the ground floor and one upstairs.
This is an end of terrace property on two levels. There is a very steep, narrow staircase with a bannister on one side only. There is a step down to the kitchen from the dining area. Nothing to bother young and able guests but hazardous to the elderly and partially sighted. Parking is a challenge at the weekend if you arrive late.

Location is great if you like to be near the sea (5min) and co-op around the corner. Short uber ride or bus for the shopping centre and hovercraft harbour for isle of wight.
We wanted to walk a lot so it was perfect to walk along the beach.
We had a small problem but a lady sorted out instantly and we enjoyed our stay.

The house was very clean, big kitchen diner, huge tv, downstairs toilet and bath and shower, upstairs shower and toilet, close walk to the seafront, quiet location but easy access to shops for supplies.
Only thing I can say about the house is not enough hooks to hang coats, towels etc but otherwise the house was great. Had problems with the management agency who were not helpful and caused a lot of faff which did put a dampener on the stay. At one point I was asked if I could WhatsApp copies of my driving license or passport to someone! Just be prepared for having to go through a whole booking system again even after booking and paying via booking.com

Unfortunately the beds were not very comfortable due to the springs in the mattresses sticking out.

Morley Cottage was very well presented. It was clean, everything was new and in good condition. The location worked well for us, we loved being able to prepare and cook our own food and appreciated the well stocked kitchen. A local Co-Op was in easy walking distance. The neighborhood was relatively quiet and nicely maintained. Linens were off good quality as was bedding. We found communication with the letting company was easy, they were very responsive. Overall this was a well set up Cottage.
We had issues with the street parking, having to park some distance from the property, which we weren’t happy with. The narrow and steep stairs were an issue for us. We also battled with the washing/drying machine but believe the owners will be providing an easier to follow set of instructions going forward.
