Sehr schönes Studio im Sherlock-Holmes-Stil

Das Studio hat unsere Erwartungen vollkommen erfüllt. Sehr großes, gemütliches Bett, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und Bad. Es gab gut funktionierende Elektrogeräte (Toaster, Wasserkocher, Föhn, Standventilator und SmartTV). Das WLAN war auch gut, nur manchmal etwas langsam. Der Check- in war unkompliziert, da es einen Code für die Haus- und Zimmertür gab - besonders günstig, wenn man später in das Apartment kommt, bzw. früher auschecken will. Das Zimmer war auch sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, nach dem Motto Sherlock Holmes.

Die Hocker waren zum Sitzen etwas unbequem, aber es gab ja zusätzlich Stühle.

The best stay in Portsmouth

We loved the room. It was stylish, comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely book there again if we ever went to Portsmouth again. We were near amenities and only a bus or a 40min walk to the harbour (Gunwalf Quays).. The staff and the Host were fantastic. Beds were comfortable and the apartment was spacious.. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend!

It sufficed.

The location was great. We were attending a friend’s wedding and chose the place knowing where the festivities would be. It happened that the street was also where the main shops were.

The place was not dirty, but it wasn’t clean. The mattresses sagged, the water pressure was lacking, the floors creaked, the wainscoting along the floorboards were coming apart, especially in the toilet.

The flat had everything we needed, it was clean and comfortable.

The shower kept stopping whilst in the shower, the kitchen tap was hot water. Check out at 10.

Clean, good location but a little compact for our group

Belle was a wonderful host - quick to respond, really helpful. Accudo House was a great location for shops and bars/restaurants, immaculately clean and we found parking easily. We were going to Goodwood and the train to Chichester is close by so it worked perfectly for us. The decor in our apartment was themed and very lovely.

We were 4 guests in the Sellers Suite which was a compact apartment. The only shower was in our bedroom and the only toilet was off the lounge where our friend was on a sofa bed. It was ok for our short stay but think the logistics of it would have been frustrating for a longer stay (or on a trip where you don’t know your travelling companions so well!) I would stay again with my partner or book two if a group. Out of Belles control but the weather was extremely hot and even with fans we found it difficult to sleep!

Great place to rent!

Belle was amazing looking after us, she was there to greet us on arrival and answered promptly to all our queries, she is a great host! If you go to Portsmouth and want to be close to the beach, bars and shops, and have a great and accommodating host, please stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay, just wish we could have locked the door from the inside

The apartment was really clean and homely. With all the essentials supplied. We were happy with our stay.

I would like to have been able to lock the door from the inside when it is night time, as you can hear other people. And made me a little uneasy hearing them put codes in not knowing if it was for my door.

A lovely place…we hope to stay there again.

The room size was great and it was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was so well-equipped and it was so useful to have a fridge. Thank you.

We liked everything.. the only VERY small negative was that the bedside lights didn’t work.

Fantastic base for a weekend in Portsmouth

Location of the house was ideal, close to the seafront and town highstreet for shops/bars/eateries. Easy entry with the use of door codes, didn't have to worry about loosing keys!

Great location. Beautiful building. Huge bed but really could do with proper fitted window blinds or curtains, glad we were on the top floor only because the floor boards were very noisy. But would definitely stay here again

Perfect for a couples weekend away.

Great communication from the accommodation owner leading up to our trip. Well-presented self-contained apartment. Clean and comfortable.

Towels were on the small side. Bath sheets would have been better. Poor WiFi connection. No 'normal' TV channels.

Pleasant trip

Belle was a very welcoming host, and nothing was too much trouble for her. Slight issue with wi-fi but Belle and Steve got it sorted immediately. Nice, comfortable and cosy apartment.

Unfortunately there was a lot of building work going on at surrounding properties therefore it was very noisy early in the morning and there was a considerable amount of noise outside on the street in the evenings, not conducive to a good night's sleep - but we recognise that all of that was outside the control of the owner, perhaps it was just bad timing.

Really good communication between them and us. Nice apartment. Comfy beds, bed in main bedroom definitely creaky 🫢 Location to takeaways etc. Clean. Plenty warm enough, though heating not on. Small issue with bedside lights in 2nd bedroom, but rectified very quickly, thanx 🙂 Always gallons of very hot water. Great shower 🚿

Not the apartments fault, but all the steps up to it, the apartment being on the top floor. Would have been useful to have a 2nd bathroom. Would have been beneficial to have hooks on the bedroom doors, but especially the bathroom door for bathrobes etc. A bit of a mishmash of china, glassess and cutlery. Sofa a bit uncomfortable. No curtesy lock on the bathroom door. 🫣

Great location, spacious room and good communication with the host.

Clean and modern, spacious room, close to several shops and restaurants and short walk to the sea. Easy to find street parking and was assisted with parking vouchers at only £2.00/day

Couldn't figure out how to use the microwave/oven. An instruction booklet would have helped. Stools/breakfast bar weren't easy for me due to my age and hip difficulties. Only chairs were dining room/kitchen style chairs. It wasn't easy to turn the shower temperature lower and hard to figure out the symbols in the knob. Again, something in the way of instructions or room guide would have helped. The bathroom sink drain was very slow.

it’s location was excellent for being close to local attractions.

It was quite small and on the second floor with no lift. Partly due to my fault for not double checking the details.
