About this house rental
Nestled in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains this newly remodeled home is the perfect location for your stay in Albuquerque. Views of the mountain and city lights can be seen from both patios of the home. Located just off Tramway Blvd and Paseo Del Norte this home provides easy access to the many nearby sites. The 'World's Longest Tram' is basically in your backyard. Enjoy a spectacular ride to the top of the mountain where a day of skiing or hiking awaits you or just take a ride to enjoy a fine dining experience at High Finance Restaurant. If you are wanting a more casual dining experience, I recommend the Mexican restaurant at the base of the tram which offers a spectacular view from the patio. Enjoy a mango margarita while viewing a spectacular New Mexico sunset.
If you are feeling lucky only a few more minutes down the hill you will find Sandia Resort and Casino offers the largest gaming facility in the state. The resort features a top rated golf course, spa facilities, restaurants, live entertainment and dancing. Don't forget to check out the buffalo that you can see from the road on the way down.
If you are wanting to get some exercise mountain bikes are available upon request. The bike trail is only a minute away. Don't be surprised if you pass some quail or 'beep-beep' there goes a road runner.
Forgot some essentials? A new CVS pharmacy is two minutes away. Other close by shopping includes Alberston's, Trader Joes, Barnes and Nobles, Target, and Kohls.
Once your day is complete you can relax in contemporary southwestern flair. Our home provides a spacious living area with hardwood floors and high ceilings that feature famous New Mexico artist's work.
A 50'' flat screen LCD in both the master bedroom and living room with Direct TV. Wireless internet for your laptop is available also.
The gourmet kitchen features stainless steel appliances with a top quality kitchenware to prepare meals that can be enjoyed at the bar or at the gorgeous dining room table that can seat up to 6 people.
This home is the perfect retreat for two couples because each bedroom has it own bathroom and private patio area.

Property was ok but had a few issues - a bathroom plumbing leak, radiant heat didn't work, internet went out for a while. And had a long stretch (6 hours) of no response from the host.

Birthday Party
We needed a place to hold a 90th birthday party. The house was perfect for our family gathering. The property owner made sure we arrived safely and had everything we needed, and she always responded quickly to any questions or messages.

Perfect location: near town and mountains!
We were visiting family in town but love being in the mountains. Hiked every morning on nearby trails! Christine is a wonderful hostess and checked in often to see if we needed anything. Had my sisters over for lunch on the patio. Cooked my holiday bring-a-long dishes in the well-stocked kitchen. We loved it! We'll be back!

Decent place but we had some issues
While the property manager was responsive when items were brought to her attention (broken towel bar, garbage disposal not working), this property came up short for cleanliness and organization. For example, bugs in the light fixtures, pet hair on the patio furniture, coffee pot that was unusable until we cleaned it. The closets and pantry were full of "stuff" that appeared to be just thrown in there--no organization. Towels used for cleaning were in the same stack as the bath towels. Although these may seem like small things but they added up. With attention to these details, this property would be much more satisfactory.

Christina's ultimate hostess. She was there when I needed her but gave me privacy. Her home is beautiful and could accommodate at least six guest comfortably. It was clean, spacious and like home. The vaulted ceilings with the large windowsprovided a view of the moon and the stars every evening. The home had everything that you could need to stay for an extended lenghth of time. The bike trails and the yard were perfect for me and my dogs. It provided a much needed respite. She was available anytime I needed her- great communication, great contact. I will definitely be back. Thanks Christine, you're a rockstar!

We enjoyed our stay in this home and loved the location of the property. The property manager was very nice and tried to be of assistance at anytime. The home itself is a little tired but didn't stop us from enjoying our time.

2017 Balloon Festival
We had a wonderful visit during this year's festivities. Your home was spacious, quiet and made for a wonderful central resting place. The only issue we had was with the area's address system: We arrived after sundown, and it turns out the home address numbers don't run consecutively in this area. Our various GPS devices didn't help and we found ourselves quite lost. A quick call brought Christine to our rescue. Turns out, we were about 50 feet from your home. Oops. Again, thanks again. We had a delightful stay

Beautiful Home!
Loved my stay at this beautiful home in New Mexico! The house was well kept & located in a very nice area. Chrissy was a great property manager and was able to help me with any of my personal needs and answer any questions I had of the surrounding area. My husband and I needed a quiet and beautiful getaway and that is exactly what we experienced on our trip. The outdoor scenery was amazing! We will return again in the future!

Best ever!
I travel a lot with my job. There's times where I am gone so much I miss home. Hotels are great but when I want to get away from just the open door and there's your room concept, I rent this beautiful home. My last stay, I was there for 2 weeks and had the best time! It's not too far out from my meetings which works out perfect! The house is always well taken care of and clean. Any thing I need Christine is right on top of getting it done. I will be sure to stay at her house any time I am even around the area. It's worth the drive! BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN, QUIET, AND HOMELY!!

Best Condo tha we have stayed at on a trip to Albuquerque!
What a wonderful trip! One of the best places we have stayed at in years! We truly enjoyed our stay in Sandia Heights Getaway - it is definitely an upscale property. The views of the mountain were spectacular! The owner was so nice and gave us so much information about the area and always a pleasure to talk to. This will be the condo that is on the top of our list to come back and stay at for the balloon festival! Thanks again for the best get away we have had in year! 4 Stars!!!

Needs a facelift and deep cleaning
If I could give this women and her property zero stars I would. The bedsheets had old blood stains on them. So disgusting!! The bath towels were not clean, smelled bad and definitely had not been washed. The windows were filthy dirty and covered with spiderwebs. Kitchen utinsels broken and limited pots and pans which were almost unusable due to damage. Disgusting property!!!!! I had rented her other property next door for a wedding I was attending in August 2017 and canceled it due to the horrifying condition of her condo next door. I figured it would be more of the same. I called her for a refund and she totally ignored our request and we had to contest the charge with the bank which thankfully was refunded.

Very nice property. Highly recommend it.
The property was clean and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We had one small plumbing problem that was addressed very quickly. Great location. Nice neighbors.

Great location for what we wanted to do.
We found everything to be what we expected and what was told to us by the owners. The location is great; we made day trips to Sante Fe and Taos with frequent visits to Albuquerque and 'Olde Town'. This was our first visit to New Mexico and we thoroughly enjoyed it because of the way we could relax from our excursions. If anyone is looking for a comfortable way to get around this home makes for a wonderful way to start a day!

Perfect Southwest Getaway
Christine was so helpful and accommodating for my husband who is disabled. She installed grab bars in the shower and provided a shower chair.
Home is lovely and has everything one might need.
Location was perfect for exploring Albuquerque, Santa Fe and wilderness areas as well...not to mention great restaurants!

Great Property with a Beautiful View
My wife and I stayed here over the Christmas holidays with our son and daughter-in-law while visiting our youngest son who lives in Albuquerque. Excellent property in a quiet neighborhood in the Sandia foothills. It was our first time renting a VRBO, but Christine made it a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend this or any of Christine's other properties. Until next time.

This was the perfect place to stay while my son played in a golf tournament at Sandia. Super quiet and comfortable neighborhood, excellent furnishings and the owners were a pleasure to work with. Looking forward to visiting again.

Excellent Sandia Heights Home
Excellent Sandia Heights home...Great location in beautiful safe neighborhood right off of Tramway so very easy freeway access. Close 10 min walk to hiking trails that take you up into the foothills. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and well stocked kitchen with everything in working order. Good layout of living room sectional couch. Extremely large dining table (with removable center leaf) made it easy for us to host Christmas for our extended family. Nice even radiant heat throughout. Places to relax outside both front & back. Fenced in yard made it easy for us to bring our dogs. Owner very responsive & easy to work with. Will definitely book again.
