We stayed at Anastasia for 5 nights. The property was a great location and we had a wonderful time. There were a lot of issues, but the property manager did offer a credit for our trouble, so I feel that I want to be honest in this review. He also was very attentive, offering to have someone come in during our stay and fix things and get us more towels. We declined, We did not want anything else to interrupt our trip. This is a great property and a great location, it just really needs some TLC. I don’t believe the property manager has even been into the property in quite some to see the issues.
We arrived 1 hour early to the off site pick up/check in location. There was no reason to make anyone go to this location, a simple email with check in codes and details would suffice.
When we arrived at the condo, we were about 15 minutes early and the maid was still there. We just dropped our luggage and left, to not rush her or be in her way.
The following are all the issues that occurred.
Master sheets not washed smell and stains. Had to do laundry at 10pm.
Guest bathroom -Towel bar broke we fixed
Guest bathroom -stool was running when arrival. Constant running throughout stay.
Guest bathroom shower does not drain.
Towel bar in guest bathroom shower broken.
Screen door master bedroom broken.
Was allowed 1 towels each and no shower towel or rug.
Water under kitchen sink leaks.
2 laundry tabs given and was supposed to start a load of laundry at checkout Not!!

Complete disaster, undisclosed construction, filthy conditions, bedding not washed, blood on bed covers, kitchen not clean, all appliances, dishes, pots, pans, glasses, utensils had to be washed, listed amenities completely inaccurate- there were none. Contacted host and VRBO. No resolution and left early. Total loss of money and family time.

The condo was in a great location with it’s own private beach access. The view from the porch was great! The side door exit to the rear beach access sidewalk was very handy. The condo was comfortable with only one major issue: the refrigerator ice maker did not work; it would make a few pieces every now and then so we had to buy bags of ice for our drinks. I texted the owner but did not receive a reply. There were a few small maintenance items that need attention: master BR right side sink drain needs cleaned, it ran very slow; the top outlet in the 2nd King room did not work, I had to unplug the bedside lamp to plug in my phone/watch charger, the sectional couch remote compartment’s screws were all loose, one of the towel rod holders was loose, and the sliding doors vertical blinds need repair or replaced. Overall, our stay was very positive.

My only complaint about this generally excellent condo is that there isn't a place to sit and read at night. We stayed there in March, and it gets dark early. There just isn't a good place to read. Also, the recliners in the living room are really difficult to get out of!

Great stay at this beautiful condo. Everything is as it looks in the pictures. The only disappointment, there was no grill to use. But that was minor in comparison to the fantastic time we had. Great location, great pool, amazing beach! Would definitely stay there again.

Gorgeous view
The pictures do it justice! The master bedroom is gorgeous with beautiful views! The living room and kitchen have great views! The balcony very spacious! The other two bedrooms are nice but one doesn’t have a window and has a weird sliding glass door to front of condo entrance. It would’ve been ok but the entrance very dark.
The TV is great size! And the couch very comfortable!
It’s about 20-25 minutes from historic downtown St. Augustine. Downtown so crowded it was nice to get away from it all!

This rental was perfect! Quiet, well maintained and luxurious with breathtaking views, we loved this property. The online photos were accurate but we were pleasantly surprised by the very well stocked kitchen (supplies) and quality appliances. The beds were comfortable and everything was exceptionally clean! We did not find anything not to love and highly recommend this property.

We had the best experience at this property and with Derrick! He is super responsive and helpful. The property is immaculate and convenient to the grocery store, downtown St. Augustine, the outlets and more. We are already planning to stay again next year.

Would stay again
We were very happy with the property itself. I specifically noticed how clean everything was. They have an excellent cleaning staff between guests. As other guests have mentioned, there are many more amenities in the unit than what is listed. We did find and use a pack-n-play, beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, body boards, sand toys, and many other little things throughout. High quality appliances, even down to the coffee maker. Super easy trash removal (literally just sit it outside your door and someone picks it up). Grocery carts available for brining groceries up. The layout of the condo was perfect for us. We really appreciated the super comfortable rocking & reclining seating! Beds were excellent. Beach was perfect. The ONLY thing that went wrong for us was unexpected construction going on at the condo the week of our stay. Literal jackhammering on the floor above us for 2 solid days (all day long…those 2 days were AWFUL!) and construction crews doing the same at the beach entrance. That did ruin 2-3 days of our trip, but was not the fault of the property owner. He did feel terrible about it and promised to refund a portion of our stay, which we did receive a few weeks later. My only critique of the process was that communication became less & less from the owner when inquiring about the refund which seemed to never be coming. But after a couple weeks of waiting, anxiety, texts & phone calls, it finally came today. He refunded 1 full day of our 6 day stay. Communication could have definitely been better on that end. Overall I still give 5 stars for the condo and would definitely stay again!

Great location, quiet, easily accessible, clean
I did not have to talk with anyone directly. Very efficient booking with no questions from my end. Packet was ready for quick pick up upon arrival and is just down the street from the condo. Unit is on 2nd floor and steps to 1st floor are right beside the unit which made it quick and easy to access beach. Elevators are also available! There is space at the door entry to leave your sandy beach items. Master is amazing with windows and has a double vanity area separate from the shower/toilet/2nd master closet area which makes getting ready easier. All appliances are newly updated. No TV in third bedroom but master, 2nd bedroom and living room have large TVs. Drive onto the beach and unload if you have 4x4! The condo is gated all the way around for security and you will just need codes for access. No keys.

Great Beach Condo
The condo decor and view are superb. The beach is great and not crowded. The recommendations for places to eat were fantastic. The only problem we had was with the TV. It is absolutely true that technology that is sufficiently advanced is indistinguishable from magic. We finally updated the software and, voila, the problem was gone!

Great condo on the beach
We spent 4 weeks at the condo south of St Augustine. The place was not fancy, but very comfortable for our family. Right on the beach. Stocked kitchen. TVs in every room. Great view from the master bedroom. The beach is very nice....very wide beach, not too crowded. The firm sand is great for long walks. However, they do allow cars on the beach.

Awesome condo
I cannot say enough good about this condo. It was beautiful and felt so luxurious. Everything is better than described. Pictures are accurate. It was so secure with the fencing and it was nice not having to have a key, but only codes to get onto the property from street, beach, and into the condo. Beds were comfortable. The whole complex is so quiet.
The kitchen was well stocked with serving dishes and glasses. Plenty of dishes so we didn’t have to run the dishwasher after every meal.
Although we were told there were not beach chairs or beach towels, there were. Also coolers, beach toys and a pack n play. Maybe these things had been left by previous occupants.
The deck was a great place to hang out. Morning sun and afternoon shade. The deck furniture was amazing. I would love to have it at my house.
This unit is on the second floor. There is an elevator.
We hated to leave! I. So glad we chose this property!
