Perfect place, miss it already

Everything. Amazing hotel, rooms were beautiful and clean, the owners were so helpful and nice. At the roof there is nice pool and place to relax and get tan. Loved it so much!!! Super recommended.

Maybe the location is not perfect, but still I would go back there again.

Trendy accommodation with great location

Nice ambiance, great little pool and sun deck. Location was perfect for us: close to the city centre and beach but away from the main street noise. Staff was super welcoming and friendly.

The only thing we would say is that our room was beneath the pool and we could hear the pool waterfall very clearly in our room.

Perfect place to stay in Holbox! Close to all and clean and friendly staff

Location is great! City center but close to the beach. Super great welcome. They let us check in earlier. Check out was also great they held our bags. The whole room was clean and facilities were super clean. Highly recommend a stay here!

Prachtige kamers op mooie locatie

Casa Mech is een prachtige accomodatie die op een goede locatie ligt om Isla Holbox te verkennen. Op enkele minuten lopen van de ferry en het strand en veel leuke restaurants in de buurt. Het is heel schoon en erg mooi aangelegd, met een klein zwembadje en loungestoelen op het dakterras. Je mag gebruik maken van de keuken. Araïs was een geweldige gastvrouw met goede tips en elke ochtend staan er wat fruit en gebakjes klaar met koffie en thee. Drinkwater mag je zelf pakken uit de keuken. Wij zouden hier zeker naar terug gaan als we nog eens naar Isla Holbox gaan!

Wohlfühloase zwischen dem Inseltrubel

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und uns wurde direkt alles rund um die Insel erklärt. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war sehr gut, es gab genug Ablagemöglichkeiten und es wurde täglich gereinigt (wenn man wollte). Der Pool war eine tolle kleine Erfrischung. Das kleine Frühstück in der Küche war für uns völlig ausreichend. Wir fanden es auch super, dass es extra Handtücher für dem Strand gab..

Wir hatten direkt Zimmer 1 und somit sind alle Gäste an unserem Zimmer vorbei gelaufen. Die einzige Möglichkeit Tageslicht ins Zimmer zu bekommen war, wenn man die Fensterläden nach vorne öffnet, dann können aber alle weiteren Gäste ins Zimmer sehen. Somit hatten wir teilweise bei sonnigem Wetter das Licht an.

+ Dachterrasse mit Pool + super freundliche und hilfsbereite, immer ansprechbare Gastgeber + Frühstück „light“ mit Tee, Kaffee, Gebäck und Früchten, sowie Trinkwasser + Fenster und Türen mit Mosquitonetzen + WLAN auch in den Zimmern vorhanden

- recht dunkles Zimmer - super viele Mosquitos außerhalb des Zimmers

Amazing place to stay at

This place is so amazing! The owner is literally the friendliest person I’ve ever met, also his sister is very kind and they have a cute golden retriever! The room is just perfect and on the rooftop there is a very nice small pool to relax. The whole place looks really beautiful and clean and it looks like you’re staying in a tree house. We loved our time at Isla Holbox and staying at this place made it even better!

Lovely, cosy, home away from home.

Loved our stay here!! It was so cosy and the rooms were beautiful. The hosts were also super friendly and helpful. Felt just like home. And the pool upstairs was amazing!

The only thing was that our room didn’t have much natural light. But, the room was well-equipped with decent lighting so it wasn’t a problem.

Awesome time on Holbox

That was literally one of the best hotels we have ever visited. Rooms are clean, well equipped and uniquely designed. The hotel is nicely integrated with nature: trees, palms, and other plants create pleasant shadow around the lobby, where one can chill after exposure to burning sunshine of Isla Holbox. The owners were very friendly and helpful, providing useful info about the island and helping to arrange excursions.

The fact that we could only spend 3 nights there.

Amazing place for an amazing time

Everything was perfect starting with the place, a hidden paradise in the center of Holbox. we were 5minutes from all the bars and restaurant you have a central place. the common kitchen is very useful and the breakfast not mentioned in the booking was a great surprise. the host are truly kind and nice. it was my birthday and they offered me a birthday cake which the best attention ever. The room looks exactly like on the picture. if we’re coming back to Holbox no doubt we’ll go back there.

Best stay we had in Mexico

Everything was great! Beautiful spacious room with balcony, clean, quiet and very comfortable bed! The location is great too, quiet but walkable to everything you need (beach, restaurants). Also, Mauricio is super nice and helpful! Definitely recommend this place, it was the first time we had a good sleep in Mexico ;)

Absolutely loved everything about Casa Mech. Such a beautifully designed and kept place, I really can't think of anything to criticise or that could be improved. I plan to return to Holbox and Casa Mech again. Thank you for the hospitality and helping to make my first week in Mexico so special

perfect getaway from the sometimes noisy life on the island, great location and good vibes

I love how the whole property has the organic feeling about it, it’s almost as a tree house, but then very very luxurious. It has a lot of places to relax, jump into the plunge pool on the roof or chill in the garden hidden from the sun.

Little gem in Holbox

The Host Mauricio is very nice and will help you with everything you need. The location in near to the city center, very clean and comfortable. We appreciate also the little breakfast that was offered by the house.

Stunning Treehouse Getaway

Casa Mech is an amazing place to stay! It honestly looks way better than the photos provided online. It exceeded our expectations and It looks like a treehouse getaway. The pool area is just gorgeous!! The owner is soooo helpful, couldn’t do enough for us and is very helpful in telling us about the area and and things to do!! I would 1000% recommend to stay here. The location is great. Just on the edge of the main square of restaurants and bars so takes about 2 mins to walk to everything you need, including the beach.

Our towels weren't changed in the four nights we stayed here.. i would have liked a towel change.
