Such a lovely place with the most accommodating staff, highly recommend!

The staff were all very friendly and at dinner we had a lovely meal. I had the steak and my dad had the lamb tagine, both delicious and great quality and price for the pound conversion! We realised we had made an error with our second hotel and our overnight Mokoro trip and Mbaya, one of the Sedia staff, helped us get in contact with The Waterfront and organise our 3 day stay to accommodate our overnight Delta camping trip. He also organised us a pack breakfast as we were leaving early the next morning for our day out game drive into Moremi Park. The rooms were lovely and we enjoyed a relaxing swim in the pool. Sedia also allowed us to leave our suitcases with them when we went out to the park. They were also great with the airport pickup which we hadn't originally booked but managed to organise via another transport company at the airport who kindly called Sedia to inform them we wanted a pick up, they were there in 15 mins to pick us up. Would definitely recommend and it is so convenient to have a restaurant at the hotel for dinners, instead of taxis to restaurants. Thank you.

Nothing really, there was a fire alarm that was going off early morning but as we were already awake for our game drive it didnt effect us.

The perfect stay

As a solo traveller, I had the best, most memorable stay at Sedia! All the staff were so warm and accommodating, location and pool were gorgeous, rooms were fantastic and roomy, and the restaurant was delicious. Can’t recommend enough!

Prijs / kwaliteit top

Mooi hotel wat alle troeven heeft om er een aangenaam verblijf van te maken. Kamers zijn schoon, groot bed en prima douche. Eten is ook goed (zeker de vis is aan te raden). Perfecte locatie om naderhand door te reizen naar MOREMI / Khwai.

Er kunnen ook dag toeristen gebruik van maken van het zwembad. Op zich hoeft dit geen probleem te zijn maar dan moet er wel gehandhaafd worden, helaas waren er luidruchtige jongeren aanwezig (bier drinken in het zwembad, pizza eten en zelfs een hond in het zwembad gegooid).

- Gut geeignet für eine Zwischenübernachtung in Maun - Sehr leckeres Abendessen - Gepflegte Anlage mit schönem Garten und Poolbereich - Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter - Shuttleservice gut organisiert

- zu wenige Liegen im Poolbereich - es gibt keine Handtücher am Pool - kostenfreies Wasser aus dem hauseigenen Brunnen nur auf ständige Nachfrage - Frühstück ok, aber tatsächlich nicht das reichhaltigste unseres Aufenthaltes

We booked a nice, roomy, and renovated villa with 2 bedrooms & a living room. Staff was friendly.

We booked the 2 bedroom villa which was renovated. Nice and roomy! could fit up to 5-6 people in the villa f the sofa is also used. Staff is friendly. I recommend it.

It is a 5 min drive to the town ( a bit too far to walk in hot days).

The staff, food, pool, bar and the rooms. it was my friend’s birthday when we arrived. Blessing arranged some fizz and fruit for them. and, at the last minute he also arranged for my friend and his partner to have a massage. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were looked after with a smile by everyone. Will stay again, and recommend.

Comfortable, great staff but overdue for upgrade.

Meals were good and the staff were very friendly and helpful

the rooms need upgrading. the dark red paint in the rooms & on ceiling make them dark & gloomy. my room the bath had been taken out & a shower left but the shower curtain hung 1 metre off the floor so every shower time the bathroom flooded, maybe a glass partition would work better. carpets are old and make the rooms musty.

Nice sy

Lovely large rooms overlooking the garden, several birds to watch and enjoy. Great friendly staff. Did the walk along the river with a staff member hoping to spot hippos, but the water was too low. Nice breakfast and great evening meal.

Swimming pool looked a bit green. Unfortunately on our second day's stay a local party was being held and the garden was taken over by a lot of noisy children, so not very relaxing for the afternoon

Very good

Very friendly and helpful staff, food was great, very nice to dine outside under the stars. Lovely place happily recommend people to stay here.

Nothing not under the hotel's control we lost Wifi thanks to an electrical but the hotel and staff can't do much about that.

High potential place with constricted potential.

The place is ok with high potential.

I struggled a bit at night to find the place on arrival on a rainy night, address on the Map show entrance before shell garage on right then take you behind property through the village near the local chill place that triggered stress and panic . Maybe a big board on main road pointing their entrance will help. The place is ok it just needs a shake-up to match high end competion.

The hotel is located in a very beautiful garden. The restaurant offers very good food. The Staff is very helpful and nice. I really recommend this place! I choose this hotel 3 times during my travel through Botswana!

Room for improvement for staff and facilities.

Nice and clean room. The staff were friendly in general. Breakfast was good. Large clean pool. Meals at the restaurant were good, we enjoyed the chicken livers, tajine, and bream.

Some members of the staff could use some course on client friendliness and hotel manners. They didn't care whether coffee cups and cutlery were available at breakfast, whether the table was dressed, and so on. Just not interested. The 6 available chairs at the pool are clearly not enough.
