Beautiful location in the desert under the stars. Big room with comfy bed and an outside kitchen area.
We had many mosquitoes in the room and there are no mosquito nets above the bed so we got bitten a lot during the night. Also our room was full of sand around the sink and on the floor.

The hut and the outdoor kitchenette area were clean. We loved the bbq grill and the fact that you could order a set of raw meat to be delivered at the hut. We saw a few jackals roaming around the area at night. Location of the camp is very nice, only a few minutes away from the gate to Sossusvlei.
We wished the huts were further apart. Once in a while we would see the lights and hear cars driving pass by. The A/C unit was not working very well. And since it was hung all the way in the back above the shower and the toilet, the cool air didn't really make it all the way to the sleeping area in the front.

Perfect location, romantic setting. Most friendly staff of a lodge in Southern Africa, good facilities! What can I say more?
Maintenance might be more proactive, however they do give you the possibility for maintenance feedback on which I did. This only affecter our stay very minor and would definately stay again!

Air con performed poorly.
Fridge could not make ice in 48 hours.
Not enough pool towels.
Maintenance left sharp aluminium drilling shavings in car parking space.

Pool area in the camp was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. Airconditioning in every chalet. Breakfast in Sossusvlei Lodge was excellent.
You need a car to go from the camp to the restaurant. Perhaps a shuttle service could change this.

I absolutely loved it !!!
The bar only opens after 2pm everyday which is not good if I need water or juice in the morning. they need to ask receptionist to assist for soft drinks water and juices

The surrounding scenery is superb - a good base to see the dunes. Excellent swimming pool and nearby bar. If you want to relax this is the place. The staff were lovely.
Nothing to dislike

Second time we have stayed here as a family. Units are clean and modern and the Aircon is really welcome in the heat. Five minutes drive from the entrance to Sossusvlei and the views over the desert from each chalet and pool area are superb. Great for self catering and spending time with family and friends
Bar only opens after 2pm and as it is the only area with WiFi one would like to be able to order something cold during the day While sitting around the pool area

Beautiful location, very comfortable air conditioned accommodation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a great bar and pool area to relax after the long drive
We asked for 2 units next to each other, unfortunately we were placed quite far apart

the property was so close to the park, and just a stones throw from the place where you eat your fabulous dinner. the surroundings were just beautiful.
the room could have been more comfortable, but it’s a great value!!

Being so close to nature was really cool. We saw oryxes from our patio and experienced the most amazing sunsets.
Kind of annoying that there was no Wi-Fi at the chalet. There was only Wi-Fi at reception and the bar/ pool area but the signal was bad. The pool was refreshing but man they should really clean it. Algae was growing on the pool floor.

Spacious utilitarian room...easy to move around it. Great view of pure space in front of the room terrace.
We ordered a BBQ which came with good salad but rather substandard meat. Can't say I was thrilled with that...but cooking outdoors with the wood that was provided was fun. Next time I would be inclined to bring my own stuff to cook and just get a sack of wood from the hotel.

All the luxuries of an hotel with a 'camping' feel. 2 nights way too short.
Best stay on our Namibia trip. Worth the extra dollars.

beautiful location and accommodation. close enough to Sossusvlei to be convenient but far enough to be quiet. breathtaking views.
nothing really. ideal place to stay
4.0 / 5.0
Stunning setting, lovely unique accommodation. Friendly, helpful staff
Wifi only available at reception and swimming pool/bar area, but this is meant to be a bush experience, so acceptable.
Breakfast requires travel to a nearby lodge, which is not obvious in the booking process.
