About this apartment rental

We are located in a quiet seaside community. Local beaches, winery, general store, gas station, hiking, supermarket and churches are within ten minutes. Newport R.I. and Providence R.I. is a thirty five minute drive. Cape Cod, Ma is approximately a one hour drive. Our guest suite is an open concept with twelve hundred square feet. There are two private bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed while the second bedroom has two twin beds. The spacious bathroom has laundry facilities. The full kitchen comes complete with all the cooking pans and utensils you would need. This suite is located on the second floor and comes with a private entrance. Host live on site and will be available for questions and or guidance of the local area.

This property was wasn’t just clean it was immaculate! Everything you could need was provided. Mike and Cora were also very quick at responding to some questions I had even at 10:00pm at night. I would absolutely stay here again

Great stay overall. Us and our three kids (10, 6, and 7 months) were all very comfortable in the accommodations. The owners were also extremely quick to respond to an internet outage and had us back up and running in 15 minutes.

Very nice and quiet location with all the comforts of home. We had one day of rain and felt very comfortable staying at the site. We loved the central location to Mystic CT, Cape Cod and Boston. Well maintained and pleasant home base for exploring.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The house was spotless, well equipped and very roomy. The putside fire pit and chairs were great and we enjoyed it so much. I’d go back there any time I’m in Little Compton.

The house looks amazing. The grounds were beautifully kept and quite scenic. The rooms and living area were spacious. The furnishings were decent and comfortable. I would say that the check process could improve. I had to ask for the entry code twice before it arrived late evening prior to the subsequent morning check-in, which was not convenient when dealing with multiple people within our group. Since the code was only valid during our exact rental period, anyway, I’m not sure why more advanced Notification of that entry code was not provided. Also, there were several doors and compartments for the multi-rental unit property. No consideration was given to explain which door or entry point was designated for our room. But we figured it out on our own after a bit of confusion (e.g. second floor, top of stairs vs. first door after the entry point).

The apartment was immacuilate and spacious enough for 4 adults. It was beautifully decorated and the kitchen had every tool and equipment needed for cooking. The washer and dryer was an added bonus. We woke up to deers, chipmunks, and birds chirping. It was so peaceful and relaxing. This was one, if not the, best Vrbo and short term rental that I've ever stayed in. It was a great deal for all of the amenities that were offered. This will be the first place that I will try and reserve when I take my next trip back to RI. Thank you Mike and Cori for sharing you beautiful piece of property.

Quite, relaxing and peaceful. About 45 mins to downtown Newport, but the drive is beautiful. We would like to come back someday and spend more time in Little Compton so we can explore the area. Everything needed was available and easy to find. Our first outing post covid and no worries about cleanliness at all. Really loved it.

Arrived late due to traffic but everything was easily accessible and we were able to settle in and get a good night's sleep. Spent time touring mansions in Newport, going to the beach, and just relaxing in the local area. The lodging was clean, roomy, and comfortable. Beds were nice. Even the foldout couch was comfortable enough for an adult to use. Whole experience was first rate. Definitely earned a place on our favorotes list for when we are back in the area.

We had a great stay with our family. You can tell Mike and Cora were very thoughtful about this rental, as everything one could need was available! Check in was easy and we appreciated the lighting on the street address. Even though it was attached to their house, we felt it was very private and only heard them a few times. We will definitely stay here again on our next Rhode Island trip!

The house is exactly as described. We were in the area to do tours in Newport, but also wanted to be close to Fall River. This was the perfect location, removed from hustle & bustle, but close enough to drive to attractions. Lee's Market a few miles away is a GREAT stop for groceries, wine, etc. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals in. We found the property to be very cozy, clean, and comfortable. The only thing I would change would be new pillows. Thank you Mike & Cori for a great stay!

We stayed at Coastal Oaks for a long weekend in early September for a wedding in a nearby town. Mike and Cora have created a delightful place to stay in Little Compton. It is very clean, quiet and spacious with many fine amenities. We loved relaxing on the comfy chairs in the living room. The skylights in the ceilings bring in lovely light to brighten the space. Our daughter was fond of relaxing in the hammock. Mike and Cora were very responsive and answered our issues and questions quickly. I recommend Coastal Oaks to others and look forward to staying there again.

We loved the silence at night, the extra food stocked in the refrigerator and shelves, the cleanliness and layout of the house, the access to Netflix and Amazon Prime and the wood surroundings.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay here. We are originally from the area so we spent alot of time with family and friends and eating foods that we can’t get in GA. It was always great to come back to Coastal Oaks and relax and unwind. There is a place in the yard just for us guests with a hammock. Picnic table and 4 chairs around the firepit! Highly recommend and will be back soon. Thanks to the Rocha family for sharing your home and your hospitality 😁

Four of us stayed at this rental for a week. It was a great place and had everything we needed. It was close to shopping and the beach. It was quiet. We didn’t have any children with us, so I can’t comment on that. We hope to return again next year.

The property was clean, comfortable and cozy, yet spacious, for our family of 5. It was well maintained and nicely decorated. The hosts, Mike and Cora were very responsive to any questions we had both prior and during our stay. We were there for a long weekend to attend a wedding in Newport. We really enjoyed the area, as well as the use of the fire pit on the property. If we ever are in the area again we will definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay at Little Compton. The host were extremely friendly and super easy to communicate with. They made great recommendations! We based out of here to travel to the Cape Cod area and Newport. Amazing restaurants and ice cream shops are just a short drive. We would definitely stay there again!

The property is typical New England beauty: A large lawn on which to socialize in socially distant (and closer) proximity. The unit is completely equipped for cooking, laundry use, privacy, and small visits. It's situated on a lovely rural road, safe for walking/jogging, etc. Have a vehicle for beach and "downtown" Little Compton. Planning to return!

Little Compton was a great find on our family’s summer road trip along the coast. From here we did day trips to Newport RI and Cape Cod (Woods Hole and Falmouth). The apartment is clean, comfortable sofa and living room, and well furnished. We enjoyed cooking meals at home in the full kitchen, having a washer/dryer, large full bathroom, and relaxing in the outdoor space.

Terrific place to stay. Really appreciated Mike and Cora, their clean apartment, fun and safe area, and all the amenities provided. Kitchen was perfect for breakfasts, and grandson loved the yard to play in. Super convenient to LC, Tiverton, and Aquidneck Island. Awesome place, we all highly recommend!
