A wonderful time in Catania and surrounding area

It was our first stay in Catania. The location of the apartment is very good for the excursions in the city and if you’re interested in shopping, too. If you want to go to the beach, it's not suitable. We walked a lot. If you’re not good on your feet you’ll need to familiarise yourself in the bus system of Catania or take a taxi. The apartment itself is cosy and quiet. (Don't let the location of the house fool you.) And the team of Ferrini Homes is supportive and helpful with every question. Great!!!

The only thing we missed was a dressing mirror in the bedroom. A small shelf in the bathroom would be great.

Totally recommended, it worth the money.

It is a nicely renovated apartment in a bit old building, which is looks like in the pictures. It was very nice and very clean, there was everything what we needed in the three days. The location is good, there is a lot of good restaurants nearby. Also a big plus point, that the host gave us a really useful map with recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing and daily trips to Etna.

I highly recommendthis property.

Everything was perfect. Location was great, host was nice and we could drop our luggage before check-in time. Bus from airport stops only few meters from apartment. I will definitely book again next time when in Catania.

everything was great, the service amazing, all the tine they asked, how are we doing, there was no problem to arrive at

everything was as described, they solved every problem immediatly (stuch shutter after heavy rain, broken key from house gate), spotless clean! like really really clean! washing maschine in the room!

its quite noisy, as our room was overlooking the street, which was really busy, even in night, but its the price for living in city centre, the rooms overlooking the inner block are probably better choice

The best place to stay in Catania

Well equipped and well located apartment. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The staff was really helpful and assisted us with all our needs and questions with patient. The apartment is located on the main street of Catania very close to all the sites. Supermarkets and great restaurants near by.

Disappointing accommodation

Good central location in a safety area

The owner was very unfriendly, 1 hour check in process. They require to sign an additional contract and take your credit card number in case of damages, or leave a deposit. That is not written anywhere in Booking.com. The conditions are the same as renting a car, you need to mark all scratches or basic amortisation otherwise you may be charged for the demages. In addition, there are constructuon works the next door so the noise combined with the main street one is awful, you can't have a rest or sleep at night.

Overall a comfortable experience.

Great location, kind staff, very clean and modern apartment, enjoyed shower and the bed was really comfortable, we slept really well! We also got a bottle of wine as a welcoming gift :)

There were no wine glasses. Also there was 1 misunderstanding with check-out, we were told to check-out until 11am, but the cleaning lady was told at 10am, so we left in a rush (the cleaning lady was very understanding and kind). Also found it weird that we had to leave card number at check-in for “in case something happened” reason.

I would highly recommend this property, based on price, location, and quality

The property is located just north of town. Within one mile of all the sites of the city and the train station. It is a safe busy neighborhood. The leasing company was exceptional. There was an issue with our key that they promptly fixed, needed transportation back to the airport, that they arranged, it was economical, and came right on time. The price was very reasonable. The apartment was recently renovated and in really good condition. It is not big, but does have a separate living area, so it's overall a little bigger than a hotel room would be, and includes washer, refrig, and cook top There is a washer and a rack to dry to clothes on the patio. The bed is comfortable. The small living area is all that is needed.

This is a leasing company and they have many apartments. They have to come and let you in, and sign a short term contract. I'm sure the contract is to protect them from bad tenants but other short term apartments I have rented don't require it. The leasing company is not at the facility, so I called from the airport (30 min away) but still had to wait another 30 minutes once we got there. But once she did, she was great, gave us restaurant recommendations that were very good and gave us a map to use which was helpful. There was one bed and a pullout sofa so 4 in a family would fit although it would be a little tight, you'd want to put the pull out sofa away each day.

Great modern tasteful and clean apartment.

Very nice upscale apartment- not like you would usually find in the area. Whoever designed it had really great taste. It was a pleasure waking up in this place!

comfortable but with a bit “corporate” attitude. Not that friendly

the area is great, room and bed were comfortable.

they required credit card and took it’s number as a “deposit” on a checkin which is rather unusual situation. I travel a lot and it’s the first time any property required *credit* (they didn’t accept debit!) card to take the number of. this was not a security guarantee and no money was taken as pre-auth. unusual, rather worrying and for sure unexpected

Good place as a wrap up of my stay in Sicily (didn’t need much as I was leaving very early to the airport)

more like a suggestion, for safety reasons, the sheets for the baby cot should be fitted with elastic (bottom sheets), as recommended in all safety guides for babies :)

Definitely recommend and would come back!

The staff was very helpful, the terrace was great addition to the room, the location of this apartment is right in the city center. And amazingly we did not hear that much noise from the traffic when inside the apartment. The apartment has also useful items, from washing machine to orange hand juicer which we used a lot!

Wonderful Stay

We stayed in an apartment with terrace. Everything was wonderful, easy check in and out, all we needed was there, we had a cot for our baby placed in the bedroom and very nicely set up, location is great as it is near a beautiful park and couple minutes from terraces, shops etc. We were a bit anxious about the outside noise as we traveled with a baby, however the apartment was completely sound proof and quite, even on the outside terrace.
