4.0
The view!
The location.
Indian menu in the restaurant.
It does show in places inside and out that the property is aging. But all that would take second place if you could do a little homework on one aspect… and that would be : attention to detail.
Housekeeping is a good place to start.

Amazing views from the apartment and surprised to find our own sauna.
Bathroom fans didn't turn off.

The sauna in our apartment was a pleasant surprise. The location was excellent.
Poor customer service which started at check in - it was brusque to the point of rude - fortunately we were able to laugh about it. We were told our room wasn't ready and were given no time frame for this - K (on reception) could have phoned housekeeping for us? No apologies for the pool being closed, we were just told 'no staff to supervise it' Gym closed at 4.30 pm for the same reason. The apartment was shabby and the lavatory dirty, urgh! It is clear that this resort needs significant investment to bring it up to scratch but it's for sale so things are unlikely to improve.

Good location
Some things a bit old eg 2 taps in toilet instead of a, separate radiators instead of central heating etc

Patio 5 - Lovely 3 bed apartment with lovely views, all comfy and clean and very spacious.
Patio 4 - very spacious and had everything you needed.
Restaurant - Had Christmas lunch here, staff went above and beyond. The food was outstanding and plentiful, really did make Christmas Day special.
Patio 5 - Everything good here as looks like it’s been updated recently.
Patio 4 - very outdated and worn furniture, sofas were tatty and cushion zips all broken. Severe amount of dust on top of the living room cupboard, you can tell it’s old as has that old smell. It’s a shame as both apartments cost the same price.

Perfect location, friendly staff and in the middle of nature makes you feel completely relaxed.
While surroundings are good the property cleanliness is an issue. you can easily find spider webs around the corners.
3.5
The outdoor pool was a real bonus and the grounds were great for the children. The indoor pool was also a great addition for our family. Amazing views and walks on the grounds!
The bungalows were very dated and the beds were not very comfortable. The patio area was a little unsafe for our children with broken fence, uneven flags and the BBQ was falling to bits.
Bearing all this in mind though, we got a very low price for our stay.

The staff are lovely, friendly and very helpful with good knowledge of the area. The pool and gym facilities are good. Their is lots of nice walks to go on around the estate, a tennis court and mini golf course. The outdoor pool was clean and is heated. The grounds are kept in good condition. We stayed in Bungalow 18 with view of the golf course, everything we needed and lovley views, even on a rainy day. We had a nice ralaxing stay and would return again
Unfortunatly the spa facilities was closed, which was a dissapointment. Their is no cafe and the onsite resturant and bar is only open for a few hours in the evening. It serves a very limited menu, moslty indian food. The bar was not very well kept and could do with a good clean. The drinks in the bar are very expensive and small measures. We tried it once and wouldn't go back, so we ate out most of the time or in the Bungalow. Would of been nice to have somewhere you can go for breakfast and lunches and maybe an afternoon tipple ! Their is a very nice bar at the end of the road in Pennal which serves very good food.

Beautiful location, amazing views.
The property was not well cleaned and smelled as it was closed for a while, very old carpets, spiderwebs at the doors and windows, even a slug was having her time at the living room.
Indoor swimming pool need a update as it was loosing her tiles and we could had an injury on that!!
The restaurant was disappointing too, opening late and the food is no great.
2.0
Location and facilities generally.
Booking a bungalow, the booking confirmed in writing, and then arriving to be told we had been allocated a two-floor apartment - which turned out to be on the first floor - not suitable for 2 mobility compromised blue badge holders in their eighties - which is why a bungalow was booked in the first place! - and having been told the booking was non-refundable. (Another couple experienced the same issue in my hearing!) Finding the stairway approach to the apartment covered in builders' debris. And eventually finding a dishwasher full of dirty and moldy crockery!

Good size house, well equipped kitchen, lovely view of hills. Very friendly staff.
Needs a bit of modernisation, and deep cleaning in some places.
3.5
nice place stayed for biking weekend
The main restaurant used to serve all types of food. This has changed to just Indian food, which was nice, but may not want to eat the same type of food all the time if staying for a few days

The place could do with a makeover.Carpets are worn out, shower heads have the slowest stream of water.

Would book again
No shop on site and having forgotten to buy milk as it was so hot travelling
3.0
The view from the lounge. The well furnished bedrooms.
The steps down to the door. The dark hallway & stairs.
The VERY hot water in the bathroom which prevented cold water coming out of the taps. Outside the property was quite messy. We had a squirrel nest in the roof above the veranda.

The views from the apartment were gorgeous, very spacious apartment with own sauna in bathroom, lovely and clean, liked to fairy liquid, tea towels etc and complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk so we didn't have to rush out for shopping. WiFi was great, indoor pool, jacuzzi and steam room were fab, clean towels each pool visit. I'd definitely recommend for a quiet break.staff were lovely and friendly.
If you're not into hiking, there's not much to do around and about, everything was around an hour away by car. Outdoor pool was out of order, sauna next to indoor pool was out of order and there was no spa staff for treatments. We were disappointed not to get use of outdoor pool as it was only fixed the day before we left our 5 day stay.

Loved the location and the views it had just what we needed, comfortable and lots of things to do both on site and off site
Staff were friendly and helpful and hope to return in the future
Very little - some minor maintenance issues which I discussed with the reception - nothing major to spoil a holiday 4 night break

The room I was in had no window coverings in the living room. This made me very self conscious about what was on the TV, what I was wearing and making sure that I was not seen going in and out of the shower. I also asked about a fan for the bedroom and never heard anything back the whole week. I was also disappointed that the pub/restaurant was only open for dinner. I'm on holiday and had not planned on having to buy groceries and cooking.

Everything very old and poor maintenance
