breakfast very good , evening meal steak night very good great friendly helpful staff
room was tired ,we were given a family room , windows mouldy -condensation running down the wall bathroom clan apart from mould in grout on shower wall - shower cubicle way to small for aver person - could hear conversation in next room very clearly avoid room 13. did see plenty of workmen around in various rooms so may have been unlucky to get one before refurb

Lighting design in the bathroom is very poor. There is just one single central light (one half of which wasn't working), so when trying to use the mirror for shaving etc you are totally in your own shadow, which makes it very difficult to see anything.

I was offered an accessible room on arrival (which suited me)- this was not available at the time of booking.

It was beautiful and close enough to shops and places to go. The rooms were amazing and there’s so much to do even just in the hotel.
The showers aren’t great but that’s it the rest was perfect.

Bed was atrocious

The staff were so helpful and friendly.
It was a lovely hotel with beautiful grounds, so peaceful and relaxing
There was dust on the bedside lamps, the wardrobe shelf and the kettle.
There was a biscuit on the chair when I arrived.
I was there 3 nights and they only provide service after day 3.. so my bins were full and I had to ask for more toiletries.

Incredibly friendly staff. As a keen golfer, the course looked great (although I didn't have time to go on it) and the other golfers were friendly around the site. Comfortable bed and okay breakfast buffet
Some of the budget rooms are very dated. They are in the old wing of the building so the plumbing is incredibly loud when certain toilets/showers are used. The sound proofing of the rooms is just not quite there as you were able to hear conversations in adjacent rooms quite easily.

Breakfast was passable. Coffee was awful
£5 to use the gym. No thanks.
Faulty electrical socket covered with masking tape.
Fire extinguisher in corridor was being used to keep fire door open. The lampshade in the bathroom was full of dead insects

Staff very friendly and room was lovely and clean and so nice to have single beds for the children.
Unfortunately the food was not very healthy and although the evening meal was nice it was lacking fresh vegetables. The morning breakfast was very basic and definitely catered for older generations and not for families

Room was excellent and breakfast was also very good.. Staff very friendly.
It must be the only hotel that we have been to, in 55 years, where the bedroom was not serviced for the three nights that we stayed. We had to sort our own bed and go and find more pots of milk for the coffee machine.
if we had been told in advance we probably would still have stayed at the Bells.

Location
Reception staff not up to the usual level of service that we usual received. Guests being very loud around 0200am in the morning playing loud music and staff at breakfast gossiping about each other lady in white blouse. We usually stay 4 tines a month but may not anymore

It was a golf day, so everything was as I expected, excellent and I will book again soon, Staff were very helpful prefect breakfast, and bar Great course would recommend staying
Unfortunately I had booked 2 nights, with no refund, but had to be in Bristol on the Thursday night, so lost 1 nights fees, and this was My fault.
Correctly booked, where I could have had my 1 night, cost refunded.

Staff all very helpful. TV in the room works well. A busy Hotel but very well managed .The room was very clean and very comfortable. Excellent supply of Tea, Coffee and Milk. The standard of this Hotel is the same each time I stay which is quite often.
Nothin to declare !!
