What I wanted was a rural location fairly close to Gloucester but also to woodland.

More tea bags and milk cartons. Loo brush.

Exceptional

Came to the area on a fishing trip. Room was exactly what was needed. Small double very clean. Staff very friendly. Excellent breakfast that only cost £6

No food served Sunday evening after 5pm.

OK for our purposes but glad we weren’t staying more than one night

Location was good, did not have the breakfast.

The room was very tired and there was a disco taking place in the main hotel that was very noisy.

Would book again

Breakfast excellent especially considering the price. No fuss or fat. Also had a nice evening meal the night before again the menu and prices really good, what more can you ask for well done to all the staff and thank you.

Spotlessly clean room - a very decent pot of tea with no skimping on the tea bags - ALL the staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help.

Only one minor thing, the kettle lead was not long enough to reach a socket.

Really great and inexpensive place to stay for a few days. Definitely recommend staying here.

Room was a good size and very clean. Breakfast was very good and staff were really lovely, very helpful and friendly. Free parking. Very good value for money.

I was happy with the bathroom/ shower room, but some may find it a little small. Could hear 'neighbours' snoring but then I should've had a 'nightcap' in the bar before I went to bed!

Exceptional

When I was checking in, there was a problem with locating my booking. But the staff quickly found me another room, and gave me a complimentary breakfast to make up for the inconvenience (which was no inconvenience at all as they were so quick to rectify it). The staff were the most helpful and hospitable I have met and always greeted me with a warm smile and pleasant demeanour. The food was excellent and very well priced, and the bar staff were very friendly too.

WiFi. It worked okay in the bar area, but not in the room, possibly as it was located apart from the main building. But there seems to be a lack of data coverage in the area, so there may not be too much the hotel can do about it at the moment.

Great value, helpful friendly staff, would stay again

The room was clean and tidy, what you'd expect to see in a hotel of this type. The staff were outstanding. On arrival, our booking had been lost (thanks Booking.com), but the duty manager immediately sorted it and we were given suitable rooms. We had to leave before breakfast the following morning, but the chef was extremely understanding and made us a hot sandwich and hot drink. Would stay again :)

Initially noisy at night with a lot of children running around, think it might be a popular local watering hole. That calmed down reasonably quickly and wasn't an issue after about 10pm.

Full English breakfast or variation of it served hot and generous proportions. Room clean and comfortable Excellent parking

A Bank Holiday stay meant that evening meals were not available when we required them Not a criticism as this would probably be the case in most places .

Okay for one night.

The room and bathroom were clean with good quality towels. Nice breakfast in a very nice dining room.

wifi didn’t work in my room, tv picture kept breaking up and tv remote control didn’t work.

A wonderful stay in Littledean!

The rooms are very clean and everything is new. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel is at the rear of a pub which serves a great selection of beers at reasonable prices. The location is quiet and very pleasant. The English breakfast is first class.

room was very hot but turned all the radiators off . otherwise couldn’t fault it .

I have stayed in this Hotel on numerous occasions and not once have I had cause to fault the place.

The accommodation was very good as I expected. The breakfast was excellent, I very much liked the buffet system they have introduced. The evening meal was extremely good, although there was far too much, so the kind staff put it in a box and I had the rest of it the next day, good value for money

The weather in the morning was awful, but this of course had nothing to do with the Belfry Staff,
