Great Modern Hotel to Explore Zurich

The hotel is located on the edge of the Old Town. It's great. You are away from the hustle and bustle, but within walking distance of the train station. The room are modern and immaculate. Attentive and helpful, staff. Great base to explore Zurich. Excellent breakfast with many items in a beatiful area that flows to the lobbly and bar.

Bathroom - You are basically in a glass container. No big deal. It's modern, spacious, and spotless with great graphic that covered the glass. Something to keep in mind if you have guess. There is bar across the street. It can be little noisy on the weekends. It didn't bother me. If you are a light sleeper, stay at higher floor room or a room that faces the other street.

Recommended hotel in Zurich

I appreciated the stay at Scheuble hotel. It provides more than its category says. The location is perfect, at few min by walking from the city center. Staff is very kind and available. Cleaning is good, as well as the furnitures are quite new. We got a pleasant and unexpected upgrade into a junior suite, which I recommend for its spacious living area and bathroom. Breakfast is also above expectations for the high quality and good variety of foods (only lacking bacon, sausages, …). Accessing the private parking through a car elevator is FOAK for me, but for the rest parking was secured and easily accessible. We’ll consider to come back in the future. Recommended!

Only minor things: the dining area i.e. breakfast is a bit dark, and the parquet in the room was too noisy. An important remark is that the safe inside the wardrobe is not screwed/bolted/linked through the wooden back into the wall, but just attached (I guess) by means of glue/silicone onto one of the shelves… unfortunately, many hotels do not pay attention to this detail, but it wastes the advantage of having a safe.

Location is slightly uphill. A bit strenuous walking from the main train station with your luggages.

Met & exceeded all expectations, staff were wonderful. Thank you for the room upgrade.

Excellent location, easy walking to restaurants, train station & Bahnhofstrasse. Breakfast was lovely with eggs cooked your way as you arrive.

Wonderful

The staff were friendly and helpful. We got caught in the rain and they did everything to get us in early to freshen up. They even gave us an upgrade because we had to wait a little. Mind you it was well before normal check in time anyway. Thank you for making our stay fabulous.

Nice affordable boutique hotel in a convenient location with friendly staff.

Very convenient location, friendly staff and clean room with good amenities. I especially appreciated being able to reserve a parking space in the garage located under the hotel since there are no options for nearby parking.

The remote for the garage didn't work and I had to wait for someone to come open the car elevator.

Great location and awesome hotel.

Fantastic location, friendly and helpful staff, great room with view over the street, very comfortable bed and selection of pillows. Could not rate this hotel high enough and would stay there in a heartbeat.

We had one single room and supervisor double room at the second floor. The rooms were clean, small but well organized and convenient. coffee in the room was of very good quality, cooling system was working very well as we didn’t use the added fan in the room. The location was quiet since it is not very close to restaurants and bars existing in the other street close by. location is minutes walk to bus station …..etc .Thanks to Monique and her team as they were very friendly and helpful . When I read the reviews on booking I was concerned about the AC and quietness of rooms, but honestly we didn’t have any relevant issue . I recommend it highly.

All was excellent, however I wish the bathroom walls were better isolated especially in the double room.

I wanted to reserve a stay at hotel Scheble for two months in advance, but by mistake it happened to be the evening I actually did the browsing. Staff was very professional in every way from the start, and even more when we both realized that we have unintentional case of now show. Everything was cleared and sorted next day, by the book. So I have not stayed at the property but I am for sure looking forward to. Thumbs up!

good location but not much better than an ibis budget, which at least is warm

Location was fine, breakfast was also good

It was freezing in the room, heating was off even though it was only 2 degrees outside and nothing changed when I tried to turn it on. there was some hair in the bathroom and some white stuff came out of the coffee machine so that I decided not to use it

A true Swiss home away from home. Couldn’t wish for any better.

Our favourite hotel in Zurich. Couldn’t ask for more. We stay here EVERY time we are in Zurich. Amazing quiet location, right in the old town. Good value for money. Very clean rooms. Comfy beds. Great showers. Excellent breakfast! …. oh the custom omelettes! Thank you also for the recommendation to travel for a day trip to Rapperswil. The most memorable and wonderful New Year’s Day we have ever had 🙏
