This hotel experience was unique and felt like you were stepping back in time and re-living history, and the most comfortable Queen sized hotel bed I have ever slept in . Staff also excellent, perfect location. An Amazing stay!!!
Needs tea & coffee-making facility in the room.

The whole place is steeped in history and a great, interesting place to stay. We would have appreciated details for internet access, however. We have to mention Angel, who went more than the extra mile when we had problems with our car. He sorted it out for us and ensured that we didn't spend the evening stressing about what to do.
The restaurant was a little quiet in the evening but we suppose that most tourists visit during the day, It's a pity because the atmosphere around the town in the evening was very warm, friendly and special.

The character and location were superb.
No car parking facilities - although the staff made one for us - so definitely not a complaint!

The house is an historic place, but well mantained. The furniture, floor and ceilings are awsome. Great location, in the center of La Orotava. The reception and cleaning staff was very kind.
The day of our stay, there was a sports event so it was difficult to park nearby. Obviously, there is no elevator to the firts floor, but it worth the small effort.

a beautiful old Canarian residence lovingly kept & some parts being restored! location fabulous
we weren’t able to stay longer. due to holidays the restaurant wasn’t open but the host recommended plenty of places in the area.

Most authentic local, great food, excellent service. Highly recommended!
No possibility for breakfast on site, though there are nice places close by.
The room was relatively cold at arrival and took a while to warm up with a small electric battery

authentic property with balconies. bed exceptionally comfortable.
no area to relax outside of room that we could see or easily access. staff communication extremely poor. difficulty in accessing property despite having told staff time of arrival no one there until after the optimum time given. had to hang around waiting. no option for breakfast despite it being a restaurant. no access to tea or coffee in rooms or outside courtyard. as it’s a lovely restaurant , the noise of customers talking could be heard in room. There was a festival on which meant most places closed and roads closed day of arrival. no mention if this. We actually wondered if the hotel was closing down and gone ring existing bookings.

A fabulous location in the old town. It is a typical old Canadian building with courtyard.High ceilings and lots of wood and antique furniture.
Breakfast not on offer although for us it didn't matter as a good pancake cafe minutes away.

It’s location is fantastic, right in the middle of the town centre. The welcome we received from the staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. All COVID restrictions were in place, we felt very safe. Would highly recommend this hotel

Charming hotel, centrally located just 1 minute from Casa de Los Balcones. Keeping its original decor and furniture, the hotel has a medieval charm and takes you back in time. Recommended if you want an authentic experience in the marvelous La Orotava.

Hotel set in an elegant historical building. Very stylish and spacious room. Good base to explore La Orotava.
There is a nice restaurant on the hotel courtyard. Unfortunately it was fully booked (likely also due to covid restrictions).

A wonderfully historical hotel, beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Centrally located in the gorgeous old town of Orotava. Very comfortable and the staff were charming. A great stay!

The location is in the centre of the beautiful historical town. Supermarket, restaurants and sights are close by and even though parking isn’t right in front, it wasn’t so difficult to find a place (near Cologan street).
No balcony. Even though the description on Booking mentioned it is a room with balcony. The staff was very meticulous about disinfecting and covid measures. However, we have found two socks probably from previous guests in the room next to the bed. Our room had windows onto the main road and no curtains, so there was quite some light coming in from the street at night.

Very nice place, very typical, a nice come back in the past.
The restaurant is also very good.

Beautiful, authentic building. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed.
The wifi only reaches right behind the door to the room.

It was very characterful and the staff were friendly. The restaurant on site was quite good and the private parking was a bonus - albeit up a very steep hill.
It was a bit cold in the evening - especially in the restaurant.
8.8
Very typical place in the best place possible in La Orotavia. The room takes you back to the past (but with modern comfort!) The staff is really nice! They have a parking which in La Orotavia is a plus.
I recommend this place.
The breakfast is very common, all the dishes are industrials, nothing very tastefull.
