⚠️ TRUFFA NON ANDATE IN QUESTA STRUTTURA

Tutto terribilmente terribile. Una vera e propria TRUFFA. Struttura sporchissima, c erano lavori in corso e sembrava di alloggiare all interno di un cantiere. Sporco disumano. Servizi non ne parliamo… doccia rotta con pericolo di caduta vetro… rubinetteria completamente arrugginita con rischio tetano. Termosifoni rotti. In 3 notti ci hanno rifatto la camera una sola volta e ci hanno anche lasciato la porta aperta tutto il giorno con i bagagli in camera. ESPERIENZA TERRIBILE

Convenient for our needs, but wouldn't choose to stay there again.

Convenience for where we were going

On arrival, I was asked for photo ID. I have no recollection of being asked this in either the confirmation email or when booking. We were told beforehand that 'some facilities' wouldn't be working - however that included the air con in the bedroom. As we stayed at the end of July, that made for a very uncomfortable night's sleep.

Puede ser un gran lugar

La ubicación.

la habitación era pequeña, la ventana no estaba bien aislada. Como la habitación estaba al lado del ascensor escuhcabamos un pito que hacia la puerta al abrir y cerrar. Estaba en obras, por lo que no habia servicio de restauran ni desayuno, supongo qeu cuando este listo estará mucho mejor.

Everything!! I booked a junior suite rm when we got there to check in, apparently all the junior suite rms were fully booked! How come on my booking that will be available???

Okay, but wouldn’t go back.

Clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The furniture seemed second hand and a bit rickety. The room was small but okay for the price. But the spot light over the bed shone straight into my eyes as I tried to lay back and read; and the TV was very small and I think located at the wrong height, so the picture wasn’t clear.

La posizione, la gentilezza e la cortesia del personale

La pulizia pressoché assente, odori sgradevoli in camera, doccia parzialmente rotta, letto molto scomodo, finestra della camera che non si chiudeva bene, porta del bagno impossibile da chiudere.

Nedá se bohužel dobře hodnotit. Hotel jen podle názvu, spíše špatná ubytovna.

Koupelna byla funkční. Poloha je skvělá, Blízko na metro, na 2 různé stanice.

Úroveň čistoty nejen na pokoji, ale i jinde. Hluk v hotelu. Matrace v katastrofálním stavu s s velkými dírami, čisté povlečení to nezachrání.

Good value for money

All went well, the room was plenty big, with a good t.v. and kettle and the location was great, near the tube with plenty of shops and restaurants, and the staff were great especially Mr. Sayed

The hotel is extremely dirty, basic hygiene conditions are not satisfied, and staff couldn’t care less.

The only thing we liked about this hotel is the location. Everything else was an absolute disaster and an abomination.

During the four nights we spent there we had to change a room 2 times. In the first room the smell of canalisation was unbearable and there was a cockroach on our wall that escaped to the hole in the floor. In the second room, we saw a cockroach again and if that wasn’t enough, we found another person’s underwear under our bed, which wasn’t there the first night we spent in that room (apparently someone else was there while we were away). In the third room the canalisation smelled bad again and we found old food behind the cupboard, meaning they didn’t clean the room properly.

Very poor. Would not recommend until refurbishment is completed

The location was very good. Walking distance from Gloucester Road Tube Station

The hotel in my view, does not have reasonable conditions and should not be open whilst being refurbished. Entrance lounge was messy, with several construction materials everywhere and workers doing their work. Despite having received notification that hotel was being refurbished, i was not given the full picture of the conditions. Current photos on booking.com does not demonstrate current reality. Room was superficially cleaned but floor, windows and walls very dirty. Bed was also rushly made. I was told in message that room would have a kettle and it did not have. I went to request with evening reception staff on the 08.03.24 and I was told they needed to wait for someone that may know where the kettle is and they would update me. I had to wait for the next day to chase up myself and eventually got it. There were no hangers either in wardrobe.Shower water was excessively boiling, taps falling off my hand, and had to shower by adding cold water from the sink tap on one of the mugs and mix it with boling water from the shower. Bathroom also had awful smell and smell coming from the ventilation grill. Room was also towards main road. Very old thin windows so could hear traffic and police/ambulance noise throughout the night. I decided to took the risk despite the poor reviews hoping to see positive changes, however the conditions remain consistent with past reviews unfortunately.

La ubicación del hotel es buena y la cama muy comoda.

La calefacción de la habitación no funcionaba y el calefactor eléctrico que nos dejaron tampoco. Se lo indicamos a recepción para que lo arreglaran y no nos hicieron caso, simplemente nos dieron un calefactor eléctrico pequeño de los de poner debajo de la mesa, insuficiente para calentar la habitación. La puerta de la habitación tardaba mucho en abrir y lo peor es que no pudimos cerrar desde dentro ya que el pestillo no funcionaba. Toda la noche la puerta abierta con una silla delante. La puerta de la ducha no se cerraba y los enchufes del baño tampoco funcionaban.

Cromwell stay not to be repeated

Location was reasonable

Very run down and dirty. Mould on walls, broken tiles on bathroom floors and walls. Dirty tissues under the bed, dirty chair furnishings. Thinnest very grey quilt. 3rd floor room by the construction site that would have been a lift. Climbing six flights of stairs- some of the steps are unsafe, collapsing under the carpet. View of the scaffolding out of the dirty/mouldy/draughty windows. Broken lights by the beds

La chambre était bien au calme comme demandé mais les murs demandent un rafraîchissement ( taches dégâts des eaux et taches d insectes écrasées). Le ménage n a pas été finis ( juste le lit pas la salle de bain ni l aspirateur)

Avoid this hotel at all cost. You will be disappointed and you will not get a refund on your stay.

The lady staff are not that friendly and rude. The room we had was disgusting and dusty. There was visible water stains on the wall and up the ceiling. The toilet was not cleaned properly and there were many limescales. The air conditioning was filthy and disgusting and had never been cleaned and maintained. You could get lots of respiratory diseases by coming into the room because of that. Looking outside the window is like a rubbish pit with a rusting mattress outside, broken plates and rubbish.

NOTHING! EVERYTHING IS DISGUSTING! THIS HOTEL IS BELOW THE STANDARD. IT IS MORE OF A HOSTEL RATHER THAN A HOTEL. AND I SUPPOSED OTHER HOSTEL IS MUCH BETTER THAN THIS DISGUSTING HOTEL. THIS HOTEL HAS BEEN REPORTED TO KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA COUNCIL AND THEY ARE COMPLETELY AWARE OF THE SITUATION. PLEASE, I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO REPORT EVERYTHING TO THE COUNCIL AS THIS HOTEL IS BREACHING A HOTEL'S STANDARD. THIS HOTEL SHOULD NOT BE OPERATING IN LONDON.

Posizione ottima in una bella zona di Londra vicino alla fermata della metro e degli autobus Personale gentile e disponibile. Ci hanno tenuto i bagagli prima del check in

Not much to like to be honest

The room was noisy, cold, no bins on the room, carpet dirty, under the bed dirty, bathroom dirty, sink broken so water got stuck, bath dirty, etc.

Très bon séjour !!!

Un hôtel sympa et bon en rapport qualité prix. Bien situé proche du métro qui nous permet de rejoindre tout les points stratégiques de Londres. Le personnel est sympa.

La petite chose qui manquait était le petit déjeuner mais à leur décharge par rapport au manque du petit déjeuner ils mettent un plateau bouilloire dans les chambres. Petit détail aussi la baignoire glisse énormément et n'était pas nettoyé très soigneusement à mon arrivée.

Frustrating.

The hotel is at a perfect location both for business and holiday travellers. A lot of museums are withing the walking distance and both the bus routes and two tube stations will take you everywhere.

The hotel at the time was undergoing renovation and construction which had not been mentioned during the booking or event he welcome message including the information about check-in times. It was a very bargain price but I would have liked to know that there will be no heaters or that the rooms were rather old and questionably clean. Oldness and cleanliness aside the lack of the heating system which was tried to be compensated by a fan heater which did not give a lot of confidence should have been mentioned to help people make a more informed decision. Things, I hope will change once the construction is finished and if the hotel will keep excepting guests than they should make the situation very clear. Afterall, I trusted I was booking a hotel not a youth hostel or a shelter.

basic but did the job

the bed was comfy, it was basic but it wasn’t dirty like other reviews had suggested and it was fine for one night. we felt safe and didn’t have any bed bugs or cockroaches like other reviews said. if you’re planning on staying for just one night it’s completely fine don’t let all the reviews put you off

we couldn’t work out how to lock the door at first but it got sorted and the staff showed us how to do it.

Did a job but overall, disappointing.

The only good things about the stay here was that the bed was comfy and the room was quiet compared to others I have stayed in in London, especially for a hotel on a main road. The location was great for me too but that's all I can think of.

Where do I begin? Upon entering the hotel, I was initially greeted by the staff however, they then proceeded to sit on their phone for 5 minutes before explaining the system was down and they had to check me in remotely. Once checked in, I was proceeded to my room, noticing that though there was a significant amount of work going on, there were doors with broken glass in them. Arriving at my room, I found that the carpet was ripped, the lock on the door from inside was broken and overall, the room was very cramped. Another issue found in the morning was that the shower doors were broken, not closing properly and causing the bathroom to end up wet through. To top it all off, I encountered a cockroach in the bathroom!
