Great hotel, just a few minutes walk from the beautiful city of Carcassonne.

Considering the extreme heat, the best thing was the large, air conditioned room! But loved everything about the property, the quirky decor, the restaurant, the terrace, the staff and the owner, Sophie

Exceptional B&B, truly recommended!

Exceptional B&B super well decorated, great breakfast, in a perfect location between the city center and La Citè (close to the old/small bridge). The staff is super friendly and it has also a restaurant where you can have dinner with amazing food. Also plenty of other restaurants around the corner. Parking outside but just in front of the building.

Good Host but too noisy

Host was great; she served wonderful breakfast early at our request, and she offered to arrange a taxi ride to the train station. The property is located very near the Carcassonne fortress, a big plus.

Late-night noise from partiers in the restaurant below the rooms, making it difficult to sleep. Some rooms had oddities: a laundry tub for a sink, a shower pan higher than the bedroom floor, resulting in water flowing across the floor of the room.

Amazing B&B in perfect location!

The whole B&B is well designed and very beautiful. It has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, mainly because of the hosts and their interior design. The breakfast is perfect, not too big but with good quality products and a good variety. The location is amazing and there are very good restaurants nearby. The room and the bathroom were very big.

Good continental breakfast with delicious coffee. Bloc G is ideally situated at the bottom of the hill leading up to the medieval cite and beside the bridge crossing over to the newer city.

Nothing. It is excellent value for money with a lovely clean, bright room and large bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable with beautiful crisp bed linen. Lovely roomy shower with great supply of hot water as well as the option of a bath.

This is really a place to cherish and to remember

Everything. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the restaurant perfect and the location ideal. The breakfast was simpel but delicious, the way it should be. Please, don't change a thing

Very good

The location was perfect with the city nearby. The room was very spacious with a very good shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast was modest but enough variation (ham,cheese,jam,honey,yoghurt,fruit salad and muesli).

The noise from the street and the kitchen could be very much heared in the room. Luckily everything was calmer after 11h30. Staff was friendly but a bit forgetful (no spoons for yoghurt or jams, don't know which way our room was,...)

Repeat stay at Bloc G. I came in Nov 2018 for side trip.on Honeymoon. Came back.in Nov.2021. Lovely location near Carcassonne. I love history. Great Breakfast. Lovely funky rooms. Sophie as I remembered was excellent host. Will return again. The Honeymooners from.USA. Geraldine & Bill

Perfect hotel for a getaway in Carcassonne

Lovely place with pleasant and accommodating staff, great placement in between the Bastide and the Cité with both within walking distance. Probably one of the nicest hotel rooms I have stayed in so far, had a cool minimalist feel to it.
