Superb

Location was fantastic. Five mns walk to old city,and about ten mins walk to new city. Lovely restaurants on the street below. Very clean and comfortable, everything we needed was there. Big apartment spread over two floors,nice big comfortable living room area with plenty seating. Kitchen a good size. Three bedrooms on upper floor and nice view of old city from the terrace.

Only one toilet. Not a problem for us but if six people were staying it may get busy. Stairs not suitable for elderly.

The location!!! The outside terrace The size of the apartment The air con 2 toilets Comfy beds

The broken wardrobe sliding door as unable to put clothes away No drawers in bedrooms No instructions for WiFi or coffee maker(which was quite old) No welcome pack with small bottle milk or coffee for drink on arrival No local information on nearest shop, bread shop etc , transport options or good places to eat The casserole under kitchen radiator catching water and the fact the boiler needed re priming each day due to the leak for hot water 1 bulb out of 5 working in lounge lamp No overhead bulb in bathroom A light on the terrace would have been lovely as we spent evenings playing cards etc but was very dim No plug in upstairs sink fir men to shave Just looked a little tired overall

A great experience

Super, bright spacious apartment in a wonderful location. Great, professional contact from the host. Honestly an absolutely great experience. Highly recommended.

Nothing. Everything was good, though an explanation of where full rubbish bags should go would have been useful as we were not familiar with the system.

The perfect place to stay in Carcassonne

It is a large open living space with lots of room.Location was fantastic. We were lucky to be there for bastille day fireworks and had front row seats on the apartment terrace. It was an amazing experience.

The cooker would not work for us but that was only a minor issue

Exceptional

Hard to imagine a better location. Contact with the owner/manager of the property was flawless. I was very happy with my stay there. Excellent balance between price and quality.

Perhaps the (beautifully located!) terrace could use some love. Otherwise, everything was great.

Amazing spot near the walled city.

Absolutely amazing location. Literally steps away from the walled city with a few of it from the balcony. Great space. Everything was well stocked. Lots of neat eateries and places to grab a drink nearby. The street is pedestrian only in the afternoon which is really nice (most of the time).

The pedestrian street is a drawback if you're moving in with a lot of stuff. We had to park about a quarter mile away and carry everything back and forth. In the AM the street is open, so moving out was fine.

Exceptional

EVRYTHING. Location is wow couldn't be better . Just minutes from castle, limited traffic beside good restaurants.evrything on door step. For sure we will come back with family for longer then weekend. Thank you for great time.

If we could give more then 10 we would. We love everything. If We have to find some minus would be impossible. We travel with three kids so top stairs could have closer. We use big chair works perfectly.

Superb

It was a beautiful property and we had a lovely relaxing time there.

Being October, most of the restaurants/bars along the street were closed for the season or only open Thursday to Saturday. You have to walk into the lower city or to the medieval city for your meals, etc. The bedroom furthest away from the WiFi router had no reception. We moved to the bedroom above the sitting room to receive signal. No corkscrew at property, had to ask the little bar downstairs to open our bottle of wine! The lady who was meant to meet us at the property arrived half an hour late, making us wait at the street corner. Appreciate she had a meeting, but we did inform her of our arrival time. Steps down to back bedroom quite dangerous as not easy to see - one of the reasons we moved to another bedroom.

Location EXCELLENT, 5 mins walk to Castle, short walk across to other side of Carcassonne. Lovely, clean, comfortable apartment, lots of space and facilities. Our host was just smashing, great to respond to messages, met us at the property with the key.. all went really well for our shorty stay. Highly recommend this property.
