I didn’t like self check in I faced problem that I couldn’t check in and no one there help me even they don’t pick up the phone, Very hard to reach the customer service , then finally after one hour we checked in. Also, When taking a shower, there is no water with moderate temperature or cold, only boiling water that is very, very hot. We cannot take a shower.

We liked the size and number of rooms. A separate bedroom, separate bathroom and combined kitchen/lounge. It felt more like being at home with the ability to sit and relax, cook meals, and eat at a breakfast bar. Comfortable. Parking is available at the accommodation ( needs to be booked). Street parking, but needs payment. download the RingGo app to pay for parking.
self-service supplies of toilet paper, dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets are available at the reception.
Two local pubs in the street including The Oxford made famous by the author Ian Rankin and his Rebus character
Close to Princess Street and all the shopping that offers,
Close to lovely restaurants. Walking distance to a local Sianbury's.
Close to public transport: train station (Waverly), bus and tram stop.
Walking distance to Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile in the old town
walking distance to Stockbridge/Leith area, including the Glenogle public swimming pool and botanic gardens
We found some kitchen utensils were not properly washed by previous guests. This was easily remedied by doing a dishwasher load of everything we wanted to use. The ceramic hobb needed a bit of a clean, as well. Had to ask for a tea towel to hand-dry dishes.

Excellent location, comfortable ground floor room
£100 deposit was required, which we wouldn't mind if we knew about this beforehand, but we didn't know until the day of travel

very smart.
had a small issue in that I got the booking . com pin confused with the code to enter the property and the last booking . com email didn’t contain the entry details . I spent an uncomfortable 10 minutes in the dark unable to get hold of the manager by mobile at 10.30 at night.
suggest improved entry information in email and on the front page of booking . com app.

Rooms were good sizes, had everything you needed plus was in a great location.
Price for two nights was a bit steep plus the parking was so expensive we had to park our cars somewhere else.

Staff were great. Location was perfect. Accommodation was just what we needed. Had problem with microwave and it was replaced next morning. So easy. Will definitely come back.

I really liked the ease of checking into room when I arrived. Very clean living space although very overpowering and eye watering smell of bleach/ammonia when entering bathroom which was very clean but had no choice but to keep bathroom door open fully to ventilate room otherwise too uncomfortable to enter that room. Staff were lovely and contacted me by telephone later that evening to determine if tv was working.
TV didn’t appear to work in main living space of room 24 but bedroom tv was working perfectly. I had little time to view television anyway ☺️ only adjusted score because son who was visiting briefly at time of check in opened the bathroom door on arrival and found it too overpowering to stay longer.

The location was great.
We were quite disappointed by the apartment. There was mould all over the bathroom and the toilet seat was completely broken, it swivelled around. The windows didn’t open properly in the room and living room. The washer/dryer does not dry the clothes and it stinks (we had to rewash our clothes). The bed was very small for two people and there was a dip in the bed on one side. It is all well and good to offer so many different facilities in an apartment but it’s not worth it if they don’t work or are bad quality.

The location is excellent, and the automated check in was efficient.
It is poorly maintained. The shower was essentially non-functional and on general the maintenance was poor.

What I liked:
The flat was spacious and had a fully equipped kitchen, which was great for cooking.
It was located in a central part of Edinburgh, making it easy to access all the city has to offer.
Wi-Fi speeds averaged 60.375 Mps down and 65.9 Mps up which were more than fine.
What I disliked:
The flat needed a cleaning and redecoration. It was a tad dirty and felt outdated and tired, with many of the kitchen cabinet doors not closing properly or hanging slightly off their hinges.
The sound isolation was poor, so I could hear every sound from the surrounding flats.
The beds were too small for people over 6ft tall, which made for an uncomfortable sleep.
The magnets used to attach the blinds to the windows were fiddly and seemed like a half-hearted solution.
Overall, I felt that the flat was not great value for money given these issues.
While the flat had some positive features, the negative aspects of my stay were significant enough that I would not recommend it to others.

Great location to explore Edinburgh on foot. We stayed as a family of 5 in a 1 bedroom apartment and it was a perfect base. We were able to nip to the apartment whenever we needed. It was very quiet and we weren’t disturbed by any noise. The beds were hard but comfortable after a long day of walking around. Nice hot shower and good size bathroom. Tea and coffee available in the apartment. 2 TV’s which was handy for our group!
We usually stay in a hotel that has a bar & restaurant so we missed that! There are loads of nice options for bars and restaurants nearby though.
