The location was good, very close to the city.
Cleaning, I’ve never stayed in a motel before that I felt I had to clean first.
2people staying with only 1 towel, there was cutlery but no knives, the carpet looks like it’s never been vacuumed beside the couch, the heater doesn’t work there were even holes in the pillow slips and the first thing we noticed when we opened the door was the smell!! I could go on but I figure that’s enough…. Just to top it all off, the room next door was having new carpet laid at 7 o’clock in the morning!!

Beds were comfortable
No air-conditioning that I could find. And couldn't open any windows on a 30 degree afternoon.
Shower was dirty. Grime around the windows, cupboards and benches.

Room booking said full continental breakfast for 2. When I asked for the breakfast the man behind the counter at reception said it wasn’t included, that there was only tea and coffee making facilities, I could drive down the road and get something for breakfast and if I didn’t like that option the option he could offer me was to check out of the room.
The heating in the room didn’t work properly.
The description said there were electric blankets and there weren’t any.
Ran out of hot water in the middle of my son taking a shower.
Not all the electrical outlets/power points worked and at one point the power tripped when I had the kettle and microwave on at the same time.

Location was great
Rooms were spacious
Easy parking for bus
Limited laundry facilities
Cockroach in the room
Missing shower screen

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable.
The rooms have not been updated for many years which is a shame for such beautiful looking buildings.

Nothing to like about it. We stayed there for convenience to be near the airport, as we had an early flight.
The room internally, was very old, bathroom was old, a cupboard near the bathroom didn’t have some handles on it, instead it had wire handles. The floor sloped, very off putting with someone with a balance problem. The heater was difficult to operate, no instructions. it was a cold evening, and no electric blanket was on the bed.

the milk was off and frozen… no handle on the fridge.. no spare pillows…. PowerPoint near the hand basin was stuck on ….. very old and dated…. not worth the money paid…

The host was very friendly and the room was spacious.
The room was very unclean and smelt of mould. The bathroom in particular smelt like a combination of mould and death. The facilities were also a little off putting and misleading. I do not recommend viewing the sauna. It is unapologetically next to a really unfortunate smelling and looking toilet. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

great location
Toilets only on level 1 not on ground level. This was not mentioned during the booking. Sofa in the property felt like pins underneath.

no bar facilities no aircon

old tired
had to ask for crockery, glasses etc

Good location, nice views, friendly staff
Dirty towel and very uncomfortable mattress.

Location was good, staff friendly and helpful. The family size apartment suited our needs for arriving and departing Launceston as a family of 5. The kids enjoyed the pool and spa facilities.
The property is very run down and dated. General maintenance and upgrade of facilities is needed eg faulty power point, soap leaking from soap dispenser onto carpet, leaking taps, tissue box holder falling off the wall, bathroom tiling in need of replacement. Restaurant is not open. Some dishwashing liquid and a tea towel would be a good addition to the rooms.
2.7
Staff were friendly and helpful. Clean & tidy rooms. Easy parking at door.
Interior was a little dated. A white coat of paint would modernise the units. Access in and out of the property is a little dangerous as it’s on a blind corner.
2.7
Accept the location spot nothing will felt good on me.
Need more maintenance, pleases remove the plants on exit main road too dangerous to drive out.
2.7
the room was fairly clean and bed was okay, also i only stayed for the night so that was all i needed
room was very noisy as traffic on the highway was busy also sounded like someone was using an electric drill in the room close by through the night, ..the shower drain wasnt able to cope with water and filled the shower floor so had to cut the shower short, very old and tired, with very outdated furniture etc...no air con so on the 30 plus day was stifling hot...i only needed a bed for the night so was okay but wouldnt stay longer than that

The very first day the master bedroom bed was broken and we’re disappointed
We didn’t like the rooms cleanliness and the bathroom
Kitchen utensils and the other equipments should have upgraded and cleaned throughly.
Old style furnitures and the carpet.Bad smell in the whole rooms
Use air fresheners after every check out.
We’re not happy through out our journey in Launceston in Family Village Motor Inn.

Great location to the city and restaurants. Loved the pool and kids areas. Spacious rooms for a family!
Few updates of the room and playground would be great. Rooms needed to be stocked with more tissues and toilet paper for a family.

Central location
Was the worst accommodation we stayed in during our 3 weeks in Tasmania. Expensive tariff for poorly maintained room with stained furniture and old fixtures. Sheets were not clean and needed to wash crockery before use.Bathroom was terrible. Disappointing and definitely not recommended

Good location if you have a car to access anything local (nothing within walking distance) and fantastic view from our balcony. There is a laundry room that includes an iron and ironing board. Rooms were large and spacious.
Heating options in the rooms are great (room heaters plus electric blankets), but for cooling, the only options are pedestal fans and leaving the front or balcony door open.
Small coffee cups are provided but no way to wash them but in the bathroom sink using detergent we bought ourselves. Small saucers are provided but no bigger plates or bowls, which made eating anything in our rooms difficult. When we asked a cleaner what to do with our dirty dishes she had no idea. Washing them would have been easier with a sink plug.
The room's info book said there was a limit on how much wifi we could use, but when I brought it up with staff I was told that it was actually unlimited. This needs to be updated in the info booklet. My family spent our first night mostly using our mobile data unnecessarily because of this misinformation.
