Small dark room, 2 single beds and we were couple and wanted a double bed. Bath room was dated with some tiles missing, shower over the bath not ideal as it leaked everywhere
Room, venue is designed for wedding and it was very noisy

The location is great, good sized car park.
The bedroom was a good size, clean and very comfy, sift sheets
The pub and restaurant are cosy, the food and drinks excellent and the staff are just terrific! 👏👏
The bedroom would benefit from a chair, armchair I think

All very good
Nothing, although, only a small detail, need a seal at the bottom of the shower screen to prevent the floor getting wet and the missing section of skirting at the sink area needs to be corrected, None of these minor points detracted from our enjoyment of your establishment and are only referred to for your own information.

The room was SPOTLESS and had its own controllable radiator which made it lovely and warm. We were on the ground floor of a purpose built block of rooms - one floor above us.
Easy free car parking and literally a stones throw from the pub / restaurant.
The restaurant served exceptional food for our evening meal - we were seated in the conservatory overlooking the small garden. Our breakfast in the morning was in the actual pub area and was good quality and tasty.
The room and bathroom are a little dated in design BUT very very clean - which in my opinion is much more important.

everything from room to food to service was excellent

The nature of the rooms is that they're away from the main building, and so you have a bit more freedom to come and go without having to pass through reception or a door porter everytime. The room was very spacious and there was a nice sized bed. Bathroom had great facilities. There was a large wardrobe with iron and hair dryer. TV had UK channels and could be moved out from the wall for the perfect angle.
There were no plugs beside the bed. We had to buy a 4m extension lead so we could charge our phones overnight and keep them somewhat close to us for our alarms and ICE. The shower was complicated to work with 3 knobs all missing their instructions. But once on it was a lovely shower.

The traditional country pub has lots of character.and the attached ‘barn’ is a lovely setting for weddings. The comfortable rooms are very reasonably priced. Food was very good too.
Room was very cold to start with but fine once I worked out which way to turn the radiator up! Would have been better if the heating had been turned up to begin with but I suppose that’s understandable with the current energy crisis.

Breakfast great and room comfortable.

The restaurant is fantastic, I recommend the steak and ale pie! The rooms are very cozy, clean and spacious.
The bed was surprisingly uncomfortable, it felt very hard and my side of the mattress cover was not fully covering the bed so felt a bit lumpy, so I didn’t sleep so well.

Lovely friendly staff. Receptionists very welcoming and helpful. Dinner and breakfast really good.
Room a little cold. Once we put the heating on it warmed up.

The room and bathroom were spotless and the bed incredibly comfortable. Despite energy costs, at the time of writing, the room was comfortably warm. There was tea and coffee available in the room with biscuits, which were of a good quality. The bathroom had lovely soap and products available and the towels were white and soft.
I couldn't get the shower to work but did have a bath. In the evening the water wasn't as warm as I would have liked but it was a minor point.
It would have been nice to have somewhere to go in the evening apart from the rooms and the restaurant in the main building

Food and service were excellent, as was the location and exterior of the buildings
Rooms were a little ordinary, and the bar could do with greater variety
