The room was very clean and the staff were helpful. I loved the location, which is very close to the ferry.
One of the staff members was romantically interested in me, which was very awkward because I have a fiance. He and the man next door both expressed their interest in me and did not stop asking even when I expressed I am not interested. However both men are very lovely people and so is the rest of the staff. I wish them all the best.

The staff were wonderful, the rooms overlooked a beautiful garden and dinner was the best!

very Nice

lovely courtyard, where you can have breakfast. breakfast was fine, not a huge selection but nice enough. Room was comfortable with a nice balcony.
nothing really to dislike.

Very good breakfast in beautiful backyard!

Very charming place on the more interesting side of Nile, with internal patio and well-equipped rooms. Not boutique, not luxury, but spacious and cosy. Very helpful and nice staff too. A great place to stay with a convenient access to Luxor's main attractions - the tombs.
Rather poor breakfast (probably because included in the room price), no advertised safebox (an apparent error in the description). The management could be nicer to the complaining guests. :)
4.1
We loved the kind hospitality and the hotel had many terraces to relax
The food was incredible and everything reasonably priced
We were recommended this place And it was the Best experience in Egypt so far
4.1
A nice courtyard, good WiFi, friendly and helpful staff, close proximity to the ferry and West Bank restaurants, heaters are available upon request though not allowed to leave them on overnight.
The rooms are underwhelming, with almost no amenities (e.g., no shower curtain, one towel per person, no shampoo, etc.). The breakfast is basic (1-egg "omelette" anyone?), and you have to pay extra for additional coffee or even butter (while not being warned that it costs extra until the checkout).
4.1
The common area is nice. An evening fire place and a cozy inner garden makes it homey.
The place is close to a mosque which will wake you up at 5 a.m.
Also the facility was most basic. My room did not have and hooks to hang anything, the wifi did not connect and after having asked repeatedly if they might know why it wasn't their concern anymore after I left it.
The breakfast is bad. It's no real coffee, one orange, some break and butter and 1 egg.
For the price relatively speaking it is far below my expectation. Unfortunately, the newly built building seemed still half in construction as the floor of my room was still all dusty too. The first night I did not even have soap and they forgot towels too.
Neither the service nor the facility were good for the price.

Everything was good

The breakfast was basic. More Western than Egyptian. Beautiful garden to relax in. The neighborhood is traditional and very photographic. I enjoyed the ferry ride across the Nile to the accommodation.
From the photos, I thought the place might be more stylish, but it is very outdated. The staff was quite unfriendly and did not accept our request to cancel the reservation. The shower in the bathroom was broken and the water leaked out into the room. Thankfully someone came to fix it.

This very well located property on the West Bank of the Nile has a gorgeous protected garden. It’s location is perfect.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Amon! The staff were friendly and accomodating, location convenient (just a short walk to the ferry) rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean and most importantly, the food was delicious. We organised most of tours through the hotel owner or manager, and they were always kind enough to have breakfast available for us no matter how early we needed it. Highly recommend.

bathroom a bit old and one of room was infested by mosquitoes at night

it’s located at West Bank, where tombs valleys are. so it’s very handy to go there by bicycle, taxi and motorbike taxi.
the hotel is in very atmospheric sentimental vib, enable us to experience of the adorable aspect of real life of Luxor. and also It has a impressive and well maintained front and rare garden, where you can feel comfort and rest well after long day of touring.
Nile ferry station is just 7mins away, and it runs every 20mins, to get east bank downtown.
particularly I would like to say thank Baha who cooked rice porridge when I had a big tummy problem. I will remember his warm hospitality.
I got a taxi from Luxor airport. and there is just one bridge cross over river Nile. It spend more time and cost, to get to the hotel.
the facilities could be modernised, especially shower booth needed.
breakfast must be better, personally I don’t like spicy broad bean in the morning. improve quality of coffee.

Best decision we made in Luxor is staying at the West Bank in Amon hotel! The garden is amazing to see, with various plants, turtles and lovely seating. They have two rooftop terraces where you can enjoy the sun and views of the valley of kings, Hatshepsut and the east Bank. The staff is very kind and ready to help you with anything. Baha at the reception is always smiling and very proficient in English. Mohammed, the owner, helped us arrange our trip to the Valley of Kings, etc., with a guide for a nice price. Our guide Hassan was very good at telling us everything we wanted to know and making jokes in between. We enjoyed our stay at Amon Hotel a lot! The rooms are comfy with good pillows and the nights are very quiet. Best sleep I've had in Egypt!!!! Would recommend a 100%

A mini oasis from the hustle and bustle of Luxor
The staff were polite & attentive

Its a cute and clean place, with friendly and very respectable staff (Bha and Hassan are truly good men). Also enjoy the beautiful garden. Thank you again to the Amon Hotel.
4.1
Fantastic breakfast and service by Hassan (very patient teacher of Arabic), good value for money, simple clean room, tables under tropical garden, no traffic around, safe area, great view from the roof, bicycle rent of Mohamed Setouhy on the main road.
4.1
Very friendly people. A quiet green paradise. Perfect for visiting the Valley of the Kings nearby.

We stayed for five nights and felt good all the time. The staff made us feel welcome, the management was always available either at the hotel or via Messenger-App/telephone and gave good advice.
We would stay at the hotel again.

The hotel was recommended to us by friends. Especially the terrace outside is lush and nice, the rooms spacious and charming. We also liked the location, a quiet local neighbourhood with a very nice and clean juicery and bike rental shop (50 egp per bike) around the corner. Further away towards the historical sites we enjoyed shopping at fair trade shop 'habiba handweaving' and 'caravanserai' - perfect spots for shopping without hustling. In the area we had the best meal at Marsam Hotel & restaurant, if we hadn't booked at Amon, we definitely would recommend this place for sleeping as well.
4.1
The location is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on the West Bank of Luxor. The bed was very comfortable - my wife and I got an excellent night sleep for each of the three days we stayed at Amon. We headed out quite early each morning (~5-6am) and the staff offered us a cooked breakfast and boxed lunch each morning. The room had a balcony overlooking a wonderful garden - very nice place/view to enjoy a cup of tea at the end of the day.
I can’t think of anything that my wife and I didn’t like - we had an excellent stay

Nice garden court yard. Helpful staff, decent breakfast. Good location in a pleasant residential part of West Luxor a short walk to the ferry landing and crossing point to the East bank of the Nile and Luxor proper. Convenient to the Valley of the Kings.
Annoying stair lighting lit up room through the transom, making it hard to sleep without an eye mask.
4.1
Amazing garden oasis with trees in sunny/shaded dining area. The staff were courteous and attentive. Excellent meals on the premises.
There were no proper contour sheets though bedding was clean. No lamps in the room.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful! I loved all of the native plants and greenery. They were even labeled with the plant's name in English and Arabic. There were fantastic views of the temples and city from the roof top. The room was spotless of any dust and much larger than I expected. The A/C unit and ceiling fan were new and cooled the room quickly but there was also a gorgeous balcony if you prefer the breeze. The hotel's craftsmanship has been very well designed and kept. Breakfast was prepared fresh at the time I had requested and brought out to me in the garden. They served an traditional Egyptian breakfast which was the best I had so far! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. This is a lovely relaxing hotel and I wish I could have stayed longer.
I think I was the only guest. It would have been nice to have had company at breakfast.

Amazing staff, always here to help, before during and after our stay.
You really feel welcomed and comfortable.
The room are basic but nice, the garden is a nice place to have breakfast and dinner.
The best place to stay to visit the westbank and literally 5 minutes by walk to the ferry to cross to the east bank.
Nothing
